Bueatiful resort but the restaurant and food could use a big upgrade. Also should have handicapped accessible rooms. Over all still a very nice place will visit again.

Definitely one of the best. Even managed to cater to such a big group such as to ours, and the owner is absolutely nice and very sweet. See you again next time, Puerto Galera!

The place is good, reception ambiance is cozy, overall the place looks clean and tidy. Room and facilities are need and well maintained. Cons: Infinity pool is a little bit dirty from sand, children's full are also filled with sands and not being filtered. The low tide beach are full of ruffles and marble rocks. There are no staff beyond 7pm. Guests are able to do anything like drinking session, play loud music and smoke/vape all over the pool area. You are not able to relax when the night falls instead of enjoying quiet nights during your stay. There should be a personnel or staff to maintain peaceful ambience especially near guest rooms and apartment. We also asked the staff to fix something and they are not really responding right away and you need to follow up from time to time. Final verdict... If you want to go there for an experienced yes you may but for me it would only be a one-time experience, i would rather go to white beach lodging, rather than having a high expectation on this place.

Place is good. Rooms are clean. Staff seems to change on approaching guests. I am a returning guest for years and normally they are really nice and accomodating. Not sure if its because we were all Filipinos and no foreigners with us this time. We sat in the pool area hoping we could order something and none of the staff assisted us. They even tried to insist that we should pay as we order tho I normally have it charged in my room and pay everything upon check out. One of the staff said that it was the instruction of the management. It was kinda off in my side. In general, it is still a good place to stay and hopefully they will apply the better customer service they used to have.

i love it here! from the place, the food and the people. place is well maintained and green all around. our room was very spacious and had its own little place in the terrace to chill and relax. around the hotel were places where you can relax and unwind; the beach front area, the pool area, and there are even huts to stat in if it gets to hot. they serve amazing breakfast too! the Tamaraw Special was a winner (you have to go there and find out for yourself what it is). and the rest on their menu was also a hit during breakfast. other meals aside from breakfast was equally great and they have this restaurant located near the pool area where you can enjoy your meal and view at the same time. the staff were super friendly and attentive to our needs and they even allowed us early check in 6 hours before the actual check in time (this is since the room was vacant anyway, but still). other things you have to know, White Beach is walking distance from this place, and nothing beats an adventurous walk over rocks to get across. finally, sunsets are oh so awesome. i would be coming back here and would definitely be recommending this place - highly.

I’ve stayed twice and really love it. Rooms are comfortable and the pool and pool deck are fantastic. Two concerns: The beach furniture is in disrepair, and the kitchen really overcooks meat, especially fish. But the Tamaraw rice is fantastic!

If you like snorkeling, there are 2 sea turtles at Tamaraw Resort lurking around at the beach. Rooms are nice and the location is quite near from the port. I would recommend if you'll rent a motorcycle for your stay to make it easy transport.

Wanted to take a breather from toxic workplace. Went here and experienced a horrible customer service. And also Can't get a hold of people who can fix the dripping tap water. Though I just enjoyed the scenery of the ocean.

Visited during off-peak. They're currently constructing new villas atm but the existing amenities are more than enough. Rooms aren't new but well maintained. White sand and peaceful place. Relaxing. The staff are friendly and the parking is good. Note: place is not well lit during the evening. It would be better if the management would install night lights/accent light/mood lights specially on the pool deck

This hotel offers a peaceful place in Puerto Galera.. far from the busy shore af sabang and the well known white beach. It has infinity pool facing the beach shore. Rooms and service are superb

We stayed at an apartment. If you plan to stay in one, make sure you bring your stuff. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen with a fridge. They will provide the kitchen utensils for a Php3000 deposit, if you return them damaged, you'll get charged for an outrageous amount. They provided us with 4 small bath soap and 4 towels each bathroom. The useless fan in the kitchen could use an extension cord. I don't know what else they will provide for you because it was a pain to call them. Lady at the reception hang up on my friend who was only trying to figure out where to get the drinking water.

Beach front location πŸ’• Everthing else iπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž We stayed in there apartment style room. Fans are super dusty & 1 is not working, no hot water in the shower, bedding are super thin and old. At the resturant you will be greeted by 3 staffs in there cellphone not even hi or hello. You have to seat youselves down and flag for service. The resort have so many staffs not doing anything and smoking while at work (I think they are the diving staffs). It's nice that they are not strict with noise but there should be a quiet time. This resort have a potential to excel if mamaged well. Kudos to the PM housekeeping who attended quickly to clean the leftover stinky fish at the bbq area and to the manong who brought us the beach towel right away.

TOOK MY BIG FAMILY OF 10 + 1 2 & 1/2 YEARS OLD GREAT GRANDSON TO CELEBRATE MY DAUGHTER'S 52nd BIRTHDAY. I HAVE NOTHING BUT TO PRAISE FROM THE PROPRIETOR, OVERALL GENERAL MANAGER, ALL THE STAFF FROM CATERING TO HOSPITALITY STAFF. WE WERE SOON PUT AT EASE AND OUR ROOMS WERE READY FOR AN EARLY CHECKIN TIME AS WE HAVE TO TAKE THE MIDNIGHT FAST CAT FROM BATANGAS PIER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR COUPLES TO LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE FOR REST AND RELATION, GROUP BONDING AND EVEN COMPANY MEETINGS AND CONFERENCES. If you want peace, this is the resort for you. Less crowded beach compared to the white beach of Puerto Galera. A very good beach resort. Youtube Road Trip XP #roadtripxp

Place is less than 10mins awy from white beach. Rent a motorcyle for 500 cause it cost 100 pesos one way for a tricycle ride. Room rates are cheap.

The staff are super accommodating and very approachable. Beach waves during our visit were rough, though the pool was very much enough to get a glimpse of the waters that could have been. The food is quite pricey, but do get their tamaraw adobo rice, a must try!

Fascinating scenes on the beach, although the sands on this resort were rocky and I recommend using sandals when on the beach waters. The wind is strong throughout the day and peaks around 1 to 2 pm, this makes eating on the tables outside the rooms somewhat difficult but manageable to eat at. The ihawan areas could also be affected by the wind during the day, or at least when it is windy. I implore visitors to wake up early around 6 and watch as the sun greets the hills nearby, so you could walk to the nearby white beach where there are many shops, from bars to eateries and to souvenir shops for family and friends.

We went to their restaurant in the past and were satisfied. However, the place has deteriorated since. When we entered, we were "greeted" by 3 staff behind the counter, all of them busy with their cell phones. After checking the menu, we had to waive at the server to get her attention. The food quality matched the service: beer in a can and a tiny portion of fish and chips. The chips looked like potato chips, but at least they were not all crunchy. No idea, what kind of fish it was, but definitely not what you would usually expect. Having finished our meal, we thought about ordering desert and more drinks, but staff were busy with their phones and chatting with each other. So we went to the counter, paid and left. It seems Tamaraw has become a budget location . .. with premium prices. 2 stars because the location is great and the restaurant looks nice and cozy.

Not enough socket in rooms. No elevator (we stayed at the 4th floor). Food - 6/10. Just a place to stay while in puerto. Good view though
