Where to start? There are so many positive things about this place. In a nutshell, it has a very personal and homey feel to it. The term "home away from home" describes this place perfectly. This pet-friendly resort has several cottages each equipped with the regular amenities like air-conditioning, hot water, cable tv and internet. It shares the same shoreline as the more expensive resorts beside it. Food (bfast, merienda and dinner) is included in the room package. One would think that the resort would scrimp on these since all meals are offered buffet-style. The food was surprisingly excellent! Everything that was served (all Filipino dishes) was not just "pwede na". They were all delicious. The staff was attentive to all our needs. Whether it be as simple as a coffee refill to requesting for a make up room to opening our room due to our kids leaving the keycards inside the room (5x), they always acted in a timely manner, always with a ready smile. Though the other resorts have bigger pools, Sabangan used its space by providing plenty of lounge areas with trees all around where couples or families could just hang out. These also double as a place where guests can unwind and have drinks even until the wee hours of the following day. Which leads me to Sabangan's best feature (for me). There is absolutely no corkage. My friends and I brought tons of alcohol and we were never charged a centavo. Considering the prices of alcohol in most resorts, for me, this was the absolute clincher in choosing this resort. Highly recommended!

We went here to celebrate Chinese New Year. We had fun and enjoyed the overnight stay here. The climate is perfect and the place is cool. Food is also amazing. We did a lot of stuff there like banana boat, games at the seashore, kayaking and more games inside. Locals are polite and the resort's staff is also accommodating. We had a nice stay at this resort, definitely looking to come back.

We enjoyed our stay in Sabangan. We’ve already been a couple other resorts in Laiya and honestly, Sabangan was last on our list. However, after experiencing our stay in your resort, we’ve realized that it’s actually better in a lot of ways. Not only it gives more value to our money, it’s also a lot more serene and composed than the others. At his time of obscurity, it is nice to stay in a place that’s laid-back with all the trees and the good stuff. We hope that you keep the same atmosphere and looking out to make another stay. Oh and yeah, kindly give kudos to you staff especially those in the concessionaire as they are very particular on what they do.

This place is very cozy and homey. I first found out about this place in 2015 and has always been on top of my mind in the area. Fairly priced and facilities are satisfactory.

We stayed here for 2 nights with some of our kids and family friends. The place was sufficiently quiet for recharging. The staff were attentive to our needs and never missed an opportunity to greet or politely nod at you. Even though pets are allowed, most of the guests were perceptive enough to not let their dogs bark noisily at night, nor allow their pets to take a dip in the pool when there are other guests. Food was served buffet style and when it has ran out, they quickly informed the other guests to wait for a while while additional dishes are prepared. All in all it was a good stay.

Clean, structured resort. Not 5-star, but comfortable and clean. The food is not Michelin-class, but tasty in a beach sort of way. I would not hesitate to bring my family here.

The resort is incredibly accommodating to seniors and pet-friendly, which made our experience all the more enjoyable. We opted for the day tour option and were pleased to find that the resort had designated rooms for day tour guests. The food was absolutely delicious and the beach was simply stunning. I also took advantage of the massage services and found them to be incredibly relaxing. One small area for improvement would be the organization of the resort and rooms are kind of old and the availability of additional activities for guests. However, this did not detract from our overall enjoyment and we would definitely recommend Sabangan Beach Resort to others looking for a fun and relaxing day trip destination.

Great retreat that is pet friendly. Included in room rate is Buffet Filipino dinner and gets thumbs up! We had high expectations for Breakfast, but it could improve. Rooms are modern and clean. Resort garden is shady and cool with comfy lounges. The beach is coarse sand and crystal blue water. Nagustuhan ito ng aming dalawag aso!

Very beautiful place to go to. The beach has white sands and the swimming pool has a kiddie pool and a 4 ft pool. Very cozy place. The room is very clean. The staff are very friendly and responsive.

The place was really nice, for day tour it was worth it. The meal tastes very good, staffs are very nice and helpful. And the beach front is very beautiful. The resort has a very laid back atmosphere where you can really relax. We will definitely return.

Went here for a weekend getaway. Beach is well-maintained and clean, as well as the pool. We enjoyed sitting by the beach even after sunset. The overall vibe of the resort is cozy and relaxing. In the booking confirmation, it is mentioned that there's a managed buffet, but their staff is not accommodating. Some of them are giving guests "the look" when they decide to have another round or get refills. The food is okay. We stayed in their Bamboo room. I was not able to sleep peacefully because a rat was running around our room. The rat can probably enter the room because of the hole near the aircon. When I mentioned it upon checkout, the staff just told me that they would report it and didn't apologize. Also, there are clear windows beside the shower of the restroom, and it feels uncomfortable when taking a bath. Overall, we will still recommend the place, but please make sure to review the details of the room you're booking to ensure a relaxing stay and avoid the Bamboo one.

A very pet friendly resort, with really clean air conditioned rooms and bathroom. We booked for a 2D 1N stay. The meals when we where there buffet but with very limited choices but it was okay.

Great place for a weekend get away! This is a pet-friendly resort in Laiya too! The resort staff are accomodating as well! Good place to host team building activities as well! Beach front and clear water too! Water activities are readily available at the beach.

I have been here multiple times already. This is a good resort if you are looking for a short vacation that has less crowded people even during summer and long weekends. They have a clean and well maintained beach front. The staff has provided us with great service. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Except that during our stay the water heater was not wrking even after it has been checked by the staff. You can enjoy watersports at the beach and avail massage services in the rooms. The do have a buffet for merienda, breakfast and dinner only, but on our last visit it take a lot of time for their food tray be refilled which is not good if arrived at the pavilion after most guest has eaten already. overall it was a relaxing and pleasant stay.

I enjoyed the privacy of this place! It was not crowded and everything from check in to check out are at breeze. My reservation indicates “buffet meals” but my relatives felt uncomfortable since some staff would give this certain “look” when they get back to the buffet table. Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is equipped with shampoo, shower gel and hand sopa but I guess they forgot to give their guests disposable dental kits. Overall, I had good and restful stay.

Great resort though needs some renovation as it is one of the older establishments but one of the more spacious resorts. The place is not cramped, unlike the newer resorts. You have a real pathway where you can walk, enjoy the stroll from your room to the beach, and breath. Homey hotel. They serve afternoon snacks, dinner, and breakfast as scheduled. Guests actually eat together and eat the same meal because of the buffet. Thus, for the family since after dinner, you have time to cool down and enjoy the silent night and buzz of nature. Not for the energetic or younger ones because they don't offer any sort of entertainment after dinner while resorts are still noisy because because of some event or party. The room is just right to sleep in but they have no cabinets for your clothes when you unpack. Would have been better if they have cabinets so you can unpack. The pool is adequate but needs maintenance as guests frequent it every day.

Will definitely come back, delicious food and great value since they offer free meryenda, dinner and the next day breakfast, all buffet. This is now my Go To in Laiya!

The rooms are clean and staffs are so nice... mahina ang net, sometimes u cant connect but that is not what we came there for. The food is good and hindi ka titipirin, busog sarap! ☺️ worth ur money and time spending here! 🥰

It's a good place to relax and enjoy with family and friends. The place is peaceful and has space to move about within the area. Pets are allowed.

Clean room and the water is clean. They could clean the beach due to some trash as well as their public toilets Our room had a lot of mosquitos hiding as well luckily no one got bitten took all night to swat. Food was decent with menu limited

A pet friendly and nature loving place. A serene and cozy place to relax. They served your merienda, dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately if you stay for more than a day you'll need to order food at extra cost.
