My 13 year old son Alex had sustained a concussion in Sept. 2012, which also effected his right neck and shoulder. We were told by our doctor that my son would benefit seeing a Physical Therapist. Our doctor suggested a few people, but they were not close by. I started looking myself and found Okemos Therapy Services right in our town. Needless to say I made the right choice. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They made us feel welcome every day. My son had to see Physical Therapy for several months and was a little unsure at first since he'd never had this type of therapy before. Ajay was fantastic with my son. Just about every staff member got to work with my son and he enjoyed every bit of it. On my sons' last day of therapy he said to me, "Mom I'm going to miss coming here." To Ajay and all the staff members THANK YOU for all your help and encouragement towards my son's recovery.

A co-worker referred me to Okemos Therapy Services and I am so glad she did! Ajay and his staff (Jeff) are beyond professional, skilled, and quite frankly, excellent. Ajay brings years and years of experience and dedicates himself to the care and success of his patients. My right shoulder is all the better for it. When Ajay discharged me, I was a little sad because I very much enjoyed working with that group, but was happy to have great results. I would absolutely recommend Okemos Therapy Services! I hurt my hip, and when my family doctor recommended them, I had never heard of them before. They had an office in Okemos and in Mason, and I work in Mason so I chose that facility for my visits. At my first visit, I couldn't sit down for more than 5 minutes. After a few months of therapy, I can now sit comfortably for nearly 5 hours! As an added bonus, I have never been in better shape. I do the routine that they set up for me twice a day and I am hopeful that I can keep the pain away. I thank the wonderful staff wholeheartedly!

AJAY ROCKS he is totally awesome at what he does. I love how he listened to me when I asked him questions. He never blew me off. I truly enjoyed my visits because I knew that Ajay would always make me feel great when I left his office. I was struggling with intense knee and back pain which was especially troubling since I had an upcoming international flight to Australia. The treatment was excellent, and the staff made sure that I performed the tailored exercises with precision to ensure maximum progress. This was the very best place for me to go for my SI joint injury. At the start, I had pain significant enough to make it difficult to walk and impossible to sleep. By the end of my therapy, I had no pain at all. Dr Ajay, as well as both his PTA’s, Linda and Jeff, could not have been any better. They treated me with knowledge and skill, were very respectful of me and my needs, and made the experience as pleasant as therapy can be. Dr Ajay is extraordinary at the manual therapy techniques, and I believe that is a large part of the reason my pain is completely relieved. I have had PT for other reasons at other places, but this place was absolutely the best.

My experience at Okemos Therapy Services was excellent. I went to Okemos Therapy Services on two different occasions: (1) in Jan - Feb 2018 for problems with a painful back and (2) in April - May 2018 for a trigger finger on my left hand. I had roughly 15 - 18 visits at Okemos Therapy Services for each of the two problems and each visit was roughly one hour long. In all cases the staff were helpful, courteous and very professional I was surprised that on every visit A.J. (the doctor of physical therapy at Okemos Therapy Services) personally manipulated either my hand for my back. In addition, either Jeff or Sheldon (the two physical therapists) observed me during the exercises that I was assigned to do, making comments and corrections to improve my form so that the exercises would do the most good. The results were excellent on both my back and my hand. The range of activities that I can do is very much expanded and my pain is far less for both my back and my hand compared to what they were before going to Okemos Therapy Services. i strongly recommend Okemos Therapy Services.

After an x-ray showed that I had not broken any bones in my ankle or foot, one of my physicians recommended that I try several weeks of physical therapy (PT) to see if it would reduce the rather severe pain and swelling in my foot and ankle. My physician referred me to Okemos Therapy Services because of its convenient location on Okemos Rd., not far from my home, and, more importantly, because of the excellent reputation of the firm. Now, after only a few weeks of PT (two or three 60-minute sessions each week), I have “graduated.” That is, the pain and swelling, which had forced me to end my daily 2-to-3-miles walks, are almost completely gone. I’m now able to walk several miles without pain, and I am enjoying other benefits resulting from the PT. My increased lower body strength and improved range of motion in my ankle have helped me with balance and other “quality-of-life” issues. I enthusiastically recommend Okemos Therapy Services to anyone needing PT. Every member of this group who worked with me was great! Not only were all of them knowledgeable and experienced professionals, but they all seemed to be friendly, caring, patient, and conscientious people. Definitely deserving of a 5-star rating!

I was treated very well by the staff and therapists. They are very good at what they do. Having two locations helped me fit the visits in my calendar more easily. I highly recommend Okemos Therapy to anyone in need of physical therapy.
