Wouldn't really call it a 'Hotel', more like a B&B. Staff was friendly enough, and albeit the room was quite shabby, it sufficed for a night. Prices were okay, considering the very convenient location, but the facilities were well under 'standard'. Besides the location, another plus was the parking, even if it was a little tricky to enter.

We stayed here because it was the cheapest place we could find online. (Husband refused an Air B&B). Bad idea. It was not a very comfortable stay. Beds had thin mattresses and pillows, room was hotter than Hades but we could not open the window. There is a bar area downstairs but no bar. Place really needs a face-lift as the walls had peeling paint and the carpet was dirty. Looks like a lovely old Georgian house that has seen better days. There was an electric kettle in the room so having a cuppa in the morning was nice. Long story short, until these people fix this place up, open up your pocketbook and stay somewhere nice.

I’ll admit that based on the price, I wasn’t expecting much. The lobby/lounge area was a little dark and closed in feeling, the carpet on the stairs to the room was in pretty poor condition. The room itself was incredibly small—about one foot clearance on either side of the bed. Very small wardrobe. There was a tiny table with a water heater and coffee and tea. All that being said, the room itself was clean and fairly fresh, the bathroom, while small, was very serviceable. It was nice and quiet, and I got a good night’s sleep—which was all I wanted! Be aware that the "free internet" is accessible only in the lobby area. My only advice is to note that the room doors do not automatically lock behind you—you have to turn the bolt with the key. It only took me one trip out and about to realize this!

I don't really have words for this hotel. Suspicious brown stains on the ceiling, floor, bedding... - basically everywhere. Overpriced parking in the world's smallest and most awkward to use parking area. Rude staff and strange atmosphere. We came down to reception one morning and there was a group of men gathered together talking, I'm not sure in what language. They appeared to be using the hotel as a hang-out spot, they were not guests - perhaps friends of the male receptionist. They stopped talking as they saw us come down the stairs, stared intently, and as soon as our backs were turned, they started snickering and laughing. As a group of three women this made us uncomfortable. To add insult to injury, the hotel isn't even cheap. The only positive I can think of is the location really.

Beautiful old building. Needs new furnishings throughout and new carpets. Plus decorating. Saying that very comfortable metal base and thick white towels. Served its purpose of a one night stop over in Bath. Never book for more! No lift. No restaurant. No tea and coffee in room. But half the price of most hotels in Bath. You get what you pay for!!

I'm giving it four stars for effort on the basis that when I stayed in it in December 2017 it was a lot better than when I used to stay there fairly regularly a few years ago. My room had obviously been refurbished done then. It may seem expensive for what you get, but don't forget that at busy times you're unlikely to find anything cheaper on central Bath. It's actually a very good place if you just want a room to crash in overnight.

We were there on a day that was 86 degrees. It was HOT in the rooms. They did provide a fan, which made it almost bearable. There was a spider in one room. The walls are dirty, the shower is a bit gunky. The luggage room is not locked or guarded. The best part about this hotel (well, 2 things) is the price and the location. It's very easy to get to the town center. And you get what you pay for.

Booked into the hotel as a last minute weekend away as had trouble finding availability in other local hotels - paid £80 which we thought was extremely reasonable after comparing other Bath hotel prices.. when we arrived it was apparent why the price was so extremely different. The room was very gloomy, the ceiling throughout the room and bathroom was covered in damp and mold. The bedding was very odd and the room was just very bleak. It's a quick cheap place to stay if you're just looking for an overnight bed and are planning on exploring the city rather than staying in the luxury of a hotel. I personally wouldn't return, the hotel also claimed to have parking on site and when we arrived they said all the spaces were full and directed us to the nearest public carpark - which was a bit of a nightmare to find!

Check in needs to be more organised at lot of miscommunication between staff and house keeping, which caused a delay to us checking in. It would of been nice to of been offered a complimentary drink instead of being sent to wait at the bar. However the room was lovely, staff where warm eventually and there was a young man on the bar who was really warm and welcoming, great location. Parking an absolute nightmare but that’s Bath for you. Only disappointing thing with the room was no full scale mirror in the room it appears someone has cleaned all the Art Deco furniture mirrors with the wrong cleaning solution and destroyed the glass. However the bathroom mirror was okay. We would stop again, bed was really comfy :)

Looked the part. We went for afternoon tea. Nothing was explained, had to use the same knife to cut fish sandwich as cutting the cakes, as the staff was not seen and had to prompt them.

Atrocious hotel, one star is really too good for it, they do not answer emails they never answer the phone and when you do speak to someone they are rude !!! Do yourself a favour and stay Premier Inn !!
