On 5 separate occasions my son has been to the shop with friends liking for either stuff for themselves or for younger siblings. Yesterday (28th November 2021) was abruptly stopped at the door and told they need to with an adult. He is 16 and his friends are 17. A member of staff blocked the door and rudely just said your not coming in. I went to the store to see why an as they entered staff were straight in the radios saying watch them. They ended saying it was because of COVID policy. They treat ALL younger people with the same brush and it's about time they stopped.

It is a shop. They are corporate and they work on a template. All of them have the same layout and a similar format. The items are the same in all of them. All I can sometimes comment about is if a member of staff has been particularly nice or went above and beyond. Experiences vary according to your own behaviour.

Served by a young man called Jacob. Very polite well mannered and great with kids. A credit to your company! Fist bumps all round.

The wrong items were on the shelf with a price difference of £3. When I asked Brandon about it he asked someone for a price check, which is normal. He then came back with the price tag saying wrong stock on the shelf. Next Sam a manager came, didn’t acknowledge me, took the ticket & said I’ll go and look at the situation around it. Poor service! As this is only £3 I am not going to wait to be disregarded a second time by Sam the manager. This isn’t what I expected from a large company like Smyths.

A BIG THANK YOU!! We are the proud winners of a 10ft trampoline, which we won when we entered the Easter hunt at Cortonwood branch Barnsley. All the staff are friendly and helpful. With a special mention to Danielle for organising the pick up our prize. Also Megan, who was lovely with the children, who took part in the Easter hunt. It was great, that all the children who took part in the Easter hunt received an Easter egg, and a Lego bunny for doing the hunt. A very nice gesture.

Purchased the tropical rainforest water table back in March, opened the box to asemble April for our grandaughters birthday to discover several pieces missing. Matt at Smyths cortonwood was fantastic, polite friendly and replaced everything that was missing . Highly appreciated.

Popped in today to buy a car seat for my daughter. The 2 staff in that department (Micheal and I forget the name of the woman I spoke to, sorry!) were really friendly and helpful even offering to carry the seat I chose to the till for me. I was confident of the seat I wanted as I had done my research but was reassured by the thorough checks undertaken to make sure the seat was sold to me responsibly asking my vehicle and child details to make sure it was the right choice and advising on fitting. Clearly they knew their stuff. Thank you 😁

We have bought birthday gifts to my children in July, their birthday was sequentially on 14July, 3rdAug and 6thAug. So, few gifts opened in August, one radio controlled toy , spider was faulty, today I went to Smyth toy shop, explained about faulty toy Adam served me nicely and refunded money as gift card, I was impressed by customer services of Smyth Toys shop.😀😀

Massive selection of toys. Great prices. Would recommend. Also has a huge variety of funko pop toys. Staff are always helpful and polite. Plenty of parking spaces.
