Absolutely outstanding. I can't rate Gwynfryn high enough, a stunning place of history and amazing beauty. Situated in an old chapel. This has to be on your list of places to stay. The staff are absolutely brilliantly polite and a credit to the hospitality trade. Rooms are stunning (see pictures) bar and eating area is in the centre of the chapel. Stunningly restored, the area has all the original features including the organ. Although I'm located locally this is at the top of my favourites. Brilliant!!!

We enjoyed our fourth short stay here in the first week of November. We have stayed in the Chapel loft rooms and also in the Vestry the first time we stayed. We love Conwy and would never stay anywhere else. The rooms are immaculate and each have their own unique character. Breakfast in the Chapel is worth the stay on it's own. It is a stunning room. The owners and staff have always made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to get there again next year. Many thanks from Steve and Mel.❤️

Absolutely fantastic place, so incredibly unique. A true slice of heavenly haven , the room was heavenly and light, great bed, bath and shower! Came with fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. Lots of drinks are available. The hidden chapel where breakfast is served is totally beautiful. Eating breakfast in a church with classical music in the background was a moment I shall cherish ,totally surreal .from arrival to departure every moment at the B&B was great.

The most charming hotel I've ever been at! Very friendly staff, perfect location. We stayed in one of the top rooms and it is definitely worth the stairs, the view from the roof windows are amazing. And the room is just incredible! Beautiful with lots of old wood elements while at the same time being the cleanest hotel room I've ever been in, and with all the modern touches you need to be very comfortable. - Big shower - Comfy bed - Coffee and tea - Spacious room - Small convenient things like earplugs and cotton balls in case you should need it - Even the toilet roll holder is fancy! Not to mention how incredibly beautiful the dining room is, with the giant organ and the old pews. They also had a good breakfast with gluten free and vegetarian options, big plus :) Highly recommend this place!

Had a great experience here this week. Rooms are spotless clean and decorated very cute. Food is delicious. Had both breakfast and dinner. A short walk to the train and bus station, and located in the center of the town by all the historical sites. Great find!

Loved this place. We stayed in Richard II, which was nicely appointed, had a tub as well as a shower, and a view. Two flights of stairs could be an issue for some, but they were fine with us. Colin and staff were great. Breakfasts were good (although they should try to find some hens that lay more flavorful eggs). My only issue was the noisy seagulls, but I suppose that’s unavoidable when one stays near the ocean. In brief, we’d love to stay here again if in north Wales.

My friend and I stayed here in August 2022 and loved it! We chose the Gwynfryn B&B because of its central location inside the city walls, good reviews, an amazing chapel breakfast area, and overall affordability.... I'm happy to say we had no regrets! A couple things I'd highlight: -We met one of the owners (Colin, I believe) and he was super welcoming and suggested a great local restaurant around the corner called Watsons Bistro. -The rooms are very tasteful and the beds are comfortable. -The breakfast was tasty and the service was great. -The chapel is really very beautiful/special/fantastic/all the adjectives. -We parked right outside the walls for a cheap price. It was only a few minutes walk. No big deal. Conwy and Snowdonia were our favorite places to visit on our Wales trip, and the Gwynfryn Guest House definitely contributed to that! We would happily go back.

Amazing service and a beautiful stay After booking Gwynfryn last minute, it felt like there was nothing that Colin and Monika could do to make out stay any better! Our room was luxurious and Conwy itself is such a beautiful town. The chapel below our room was stunning.

Highly recommend staying here. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Location is very good with the castle and several restaurants right outside. We had a drink before bed and a full English breakfast in The Hidden Chapel, which was nicely decorated for the holidays. We stayed in The Edward I room. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The view from the skylight windows was amazing. Paid parking is a short walk away.
