I did quite a bit of research when looking for slates for our conversion. We looked at Brazilian and Spanish options but decided that reclaimed Welsh would fit in best with our conversion project. Delighted we went with Adele and the team at Lofthouse. Great quality at the best price going!

I needed some ridge tiles for a Rosemary tile roof completed for my daughter. After shopping around on the internet I stumbled across Lofthouse Roofing Supplies and found the perfect ridge tiles with finials. Adele was a great help in determining tile type and stock availability, and price was around half that I’d seen elsewhere! Great find and excellent value. Really excellent service from Lofthouse roofing supplies. I was looking for some Acme Sandstorm roof tiles to repair some storm damage. Within minutes of my call they had sent me photos and dimensions to confirm they had the correct tile. This was quickly followed by a sensible quote for delivery (to North East Scotland). The roof tiles were on a pallet and delivered within days. Really easy to deal with and hassle free. Other companies were not interested as it was a smallish order to a remote location so can't thank them enough for their valuable assistance.

Excellent customer service provided by Adell. Answered my questions promptly. Indian paving stones were a good match to my existing patio and were delivered within the hour of placing the order over the telephone. The delivery lads even unloaded and placed the paving at the side of the house. Highly recommend these guys.

Initial service was helpful, however the quality of the slates supplied were incredibly poor. Ordered 600 slates, a minimum of 50% of these are broken, or rotten to use a phrase. The slates were of such a quality that you can put your thumb through them and break by hand. We feel they have taken advantage of people not in the trade and sold any rubbish they could, that said even those in the trade might not check each and everyone of the 600. Happily blamed the haulage company for the damage as they restacked the slates. Since using this firm we have visited other yards and spoken to several in the trade. The haulage was not the cause it's simply substandard and poor quality 'end of life' slates. Would use caution if your looking to buy from these as the after sales is poor and they will simply pass blame and walk away.
