World famous venue for the Badminton Horse Trials. Fantastic experience for a day (or couple of days) with the horses. Very, very busy, so plan your days well in advance. For the Cross Country day, walk around the course and see the Estate in all its glory, you won't be sorry.

Garden open day and absolutely stunning. Highly recommend taking the chance if you get it. Easily filled 2 1/2 hrs slowly ambling around, enjoying the surroundings. How the other half live!

Apparently, this was the second setting for the meeting of Lady Diana Spencer (19) and Prince Charles (32) in 1980.

The gardens are exquisite and the larger estate is a delight. Badminton is Far superior to a 'typical' big house and garden. They are only open a few days a year but well worth making an effort to visit.

Went to see the horse trials on the sunday. Very well organized and totally dog friendly. Loads of shops and stalls. A wonderful day!

I've been in the Rod Stewart and Boy George concert last Sunday. It was fantastic!
