Sometimes call here for a short stroll round. Nice to see the gardens are being tended to again but there are an alarming amount of Canadian geese on the pond / lake !

Such a beautiful park to visit.Very well kept, a lot to see and has something for everyone.Initaly a little difficult to know where to head when parked up But once you start your trail it becomes quite easy. The beautiful flower garden was breath taking to see all the various flowers and plants. And to read all the in memory of plaqs.Loved the indoor plant conservatory with all the amazing cactus to. A little sad to see all the birds in the large cages especially in this heat. Some more distressed then others. However nice to see the beautiful of all god creations. Most definitely worth a visit.Even if its just for a bike ride x

Great park for a walk round with the dog! Clean, good paths & nice open space. Doesn't seem to have suffered from council cutbacks yet so get yourself along and enjoy the largest piece of green space in the centre of Wakefield, only 5 minutes from the town centre

the college has closed, the park is a wonderful place, needs a bit of entertainment to be more attractive. You can run, walk and enjoy the nature. It is a safe place to come with family , friends and for lovers. it has a nice skating and bike parcours. It is a nice place to visit on a sunny day.

I visit the park quite a lot. It normally has lots of events like car boots and a bonfire display, obviously not this year. It's been improved by the Chat parks association no end over the last few years; proper paths, litter picks. People do disrespect it with litter still, but overall, it's pleasant if a little busy at at times. A full circuit can be done in about 35 minutes. Good bus links with several routes stopping close by and quite a bit of free parking.

Huge park with lots to do. Play area, secret garden, mini trains, duck pond, aviary with all kinds of birds. Skate park, tennis courts and lots of space for games. Great for walking, the kids and the dogs love it!
