What a fun family place to go, we went into waterpark, it was brilliant, lots fun, the three level diving boards were brilliant , it was also nice they kept a section of a pool open for lane swimming so adults who want to swim can do so while kids have fun. Lots lifeguards watching out for everyone , felt safe . Food in restaurant was lovely , and nice to sit pool side .

Had a fantastic day at Calypso Cove Waterpark. We qere there until the closing time and at the end had some burgers and drinks. Water is very warm ant there is a part of pool only for swimming in lanes. Really enjoyed it. Vegetarian burger was a bit tasteless but my kids enjoyed cheeseburger and chicken burger. Great prices, and cheesy chips were the best after a long swim 😃. Would not buy coffee there again.

Took my 7 year old daughter here, she absolutely loved it! There is a choice of 5 slides from basic, novice, adventurous and scary! It has a wave machine on the lagoon plus a normal type of rectangle pool for normal swimming, lifeguards on duty are very vigilant and fair. Make sure you book at least a week in advance as at weekends all the booking slots go the week before. Can't wait to go again!!

Been coming here for years, 12 yo still thoroughly enjoys it here. Appears clean and well maintained. £20 for two tweens, 90 minute slot, whilst plenty of spectator space and facilities.

Took my Grandson for the first time. He loved it. We went at a set time for little ones and only paid £14 for myself, my daughter and her son. That is 2 adults and 1 child for 1.5hrs. obviously that didn't include the big slides as he was too little. But it's nice they had the option for those with little ones. Excellent 👍

Had a lovely time going on all the different slides. The kraken was great fun for my six year old. The eruption slide is only for strong swimmers as you drop into 2 meter deep water after being flung around so can be a little disorienting. Terror Torrent goes by super quick but is really fun too.

It could be a good time out with the kid. However the ‘fun police’ (life guards ) start to ruin your time there. My ears are still ringing from the constant whistle blowing and I mean it’s none stop. All day long to everyone - don’t do this, don’t smile, don’t swim, just stand still. You was just constantly looking where the whistle came from, poor. Now I get safety measures and all that but telling two parents with their own ‘confident swimmer’ child to take 2 steps back just because he’s a child and they assume he can’t swim is pathetic. (he could also stand up) Nobody will put their child’s safety at risk and if they feel uncomfortable then they would not allow them to go deeper! Children want to have fun!! Let them have fun. Overcrowding meant no room and long queues for slides. Also one slide shut - I’m sure they charged less for the inconvenience 🤔🤔

Had a fun time. Lots of slides, pools for different ages. Changing rooms a little small but overall had a good day.

Great for toddlers. I remember when I went as a kid. We drove 30min from leeds today and it was great. My nearly 3year old loved it. Only negatives are the showers (have to keep pressing the buttons for water to come out. And it's quite hot, too hot for my girl and not adjustable) and the other thing is no hairdryers just those like hand dryers on the wall that you have to maneuver your head under, not ideal really with kids.

Had a good time here with the little one, seemed clean. We went through the day while older kids were at school. The lady on the phone and at reception were very helpful in rearranging our time slot. Only gripe I had was that there were a couple of people on the balcony taking photos, baring in mind everyone was like us parents with toddlers, happened a few times and only once did a staff member notice and told them not to. Just doesn't sit well with me that a complete stranger could have a picture of my 3 year old son in swimming shorts and post it online. Other than that it was great.

Took my kids here for a nice day out, we drove an hour and a half to get here and wasn’t disappointed, it was great. Not too many people there was plenty for both my kids to do, the wave machine was perfect. My daughters both loved the four Lane slide, will definitely make the trip again.

Great options for all ages, from the baby & toddler pool, to the wave pool, diving pool & slides. Can get fairly busy but usually still a good amount of space too if you need it. The top diving board was shut when we went but the low & middle boards were still getting a lot of use. Good amount of changing room options too (family rooms & single rooms). Only gave 4 stars instead of 5, as some of the areas seem a little dated and could do with an update.

Kids had a great time. As mum's, we got a rare catchup whilst the kids had fun. We got stuck in traffic nearby and the guy at check in couldn't have been more helpful. He checked the next session and switched our bands over so we didn't lose time. Really great service. We also stayed for food which was tasty and fairly reasonable. All in all a great day out.

We had a fab time, pretty much something for all the family. 90 minutes is plenty of time, it was quite busy, but not uncomfortable busy & the queues didn't take long to go down. The changing rooms have lots of cubicles & lockers compared to others we've been to. One of the slides we're closed & the top dive board. The lifeguard people are a little whistle happy, even when being blatantly ignored they just carried on blowing their whistles to no avail 🙄 Cosmetically, it is a little run down & dingy but we'd definitely return.

My kids really enjoyed it here. I have a 2 year old and 5 year old disabled child. In the main pool and wave pool there was only one slide for them to use but after discovering the under eight bit it became much more interesting. I think they could introduce another aspect of play for those who are younger, maybe one more slide to add variety. Disabled access and changing was well thought out and equipped.

Wow this is a fantastic place. We took our grandchildren who absolutely loved it. This meant of course that it gave us a chance to go on the slides and whizz spiral chutes. You should really book and the entrance is well regulated so it looks as if it doesn't get over crowded. The staff on the desks were really friendly and made for a happy atmosphere. Family changing rooms were fine with staff making sure everything was running smoothly. The pool was warm but not overly. All the staff seemed to be caring and watchful and certainly swung quickly into action when there was a small incident in the pool. The slides and flumes were great with many goes even by the grandparents. Wave machine was fab too. All in all a great afternoon out . We will certainly go again.

Been here twice now , will be going a third time simply because it actually is amazing. I know I’m 24 but it’s still fun , the slides are great , the water is definitely deep enough to swim in and relax , it’s always the right temperature , the diving boards are ace , the wave pool is fantastic and it just is a great day out for anyone especially for the price. It’s a shame it’s a 1.5 hour session , definitely wish they were longer as it’s just that much fun it’s hard to leave. Staff are always good and the place is just nothing but a delight.

My 4 year old was really excited to visit and has been to a few different similar places, the slides were good, the wave pool was fun and the toddler enjoyed the kids pool however it looks a little tired in places. The main problem for us was the pool was far too cold for the kids, both kids (4 years old and 20 month old) were shaking and asked to get out after 20 minutes. Normally, the 4 year old doesn't want to leave these sorts of places when it's time to go. Another degree or 2 warmer would have made it more pleasant.

Being from Sheffield, this is the closest swimming baths with more than one slide, so we have visited quite a few times. Two large pools, 4 slides, and diving boards. My daughter loves it here. It's a shame that the highest diving board has not been open for some time but gather there must be a reason for this. Personally I think the place is a little too crowded at a weekend. However, if they reduced the numbers I probably wouldn't be able to go again, as most of the time we go at short notice. Price is just about right. Definitely not worth any more but at current price I would continue visiting.

We loved it here! It was busy of course but it is the summer holidays. The kids had great fun on the pirate slide. Great attentiveness from the lifeguards when my autistic partner was in distress. We got put in a quiet place and got given some water. Becky the lifeguard came back to check on us later on in the pool. Great staff!.

Kids enjoyed it, water slides, wave machine, dive boards, I'd take your own food though, we got the kids some food as we couldn't afford any for us

Absolutely amazing place, my 7 year old loved it here! The customer service is exceptional (they changed my tickets because of a train strike). The changing facilities are spotless and all the staff are really friendly

My kids and I had such an incredible time here, loved it all and managed to get some nice photos from the pool photographer for the memories. We loved the whole pirate theme with the giant skull and pirate ship sunken galleon. Only issue was my daughter went on the 3 main slides, was able to go on the Kraken and Terror slides but when she attempted to go on the ufo looking one and was told she couldn't because she was too young? She's 7 and swims better than most adults I know, I did manage to calm her down and find out it was the way a life guard had spoken to her I think she just felt embarrassed. So next time I have arranged someone else to join me and my two daughters so someone can keep an eye on my youngest while I go with her

My children loved it. Definitely will be revising. Only down fall was the temperature of the water and the place. It was so cold. Even the baby pool wasn't as warm as I'd expect my youngest was shivering most of the time. Didn't stop him having fun though!

Booked in advance. When we arrived, the main pool was closed. Top diving board closed. Had I known, would not have visited. It seems they are only catering for small kids. Need to update the website on openings to avoid wasted trips. Came from Halifax.

This place is the best water park in West Yorkshire. The slides are great, the wave machine is excellent and the kids love the diving boards. They also limit the numbers allowed in the complex at any point, so the queues are never too big. You’ll always be on another slide with 10 minutes. A couple of bits let that let it down are the fact that they never open the 5m diving board and some of the park is a little grubby and worn. They’re always doing work to improve so it’s getting better, but it’s a big place.

Amazing customer service today received by Liv on main reception, had the kids booked in thought I’d try and get some lane swimming in, she was helpful and knew how to do everything on the App etc to get me sorted quickly! A great member of staff and a credit to your team! Also the guards were really busy today actually saving kids! Never witnessed it before! Thank you to all lifeguards for keeping people alive! 👍🏻

Well managed and staffed. Changing areas are clean. Toilets before the pool aren't great so go before you get changed. Slides are great (queues to be expected, but average around 15 mins). Toddler splash area is great. The lane swimming pool and diving boards' pool is a bonus that you don't get anywhere else in South Yorkshire. There is a ground level cafe that is pool side for spectators and a bowling alley and small arcade center upstairs.

The pool is good but starting to look its age. There's paint peeling on most surfaces which is a real shame. There isn't much scope if you want to go in the leisure pool during the day as I've not seen it open before 4pm unless it's for mother and baby. I've rarely seen the cafe open lately. Like most leisure pools now you have to book and pay in advance and pay a service charge online. Despite having booked online you still have to wait in line to get your bands, surely a scanner for the QR code on your ticket would work easier and quicker.

Free parking, always a bonus. Check in was very easy and the staff were very helpful and informative. Pool was busy but the wait time was not that long. The boys loved the diving pool and the waves in the main pool. All but one of the slides working, the 90 minutes soon passed. Good hot showers and no queing, definatly being coming back here.

Only went to the kids session midweek, so the slides weren't open. Still enjoyed it though. Free parking was good! Place is a bit dated, but it's changed a bit since I was there 30 years ago!

Facilities are good. The disabled changing area is well equipped. Slides are good. Waves are relatively frequent so you don't feel like you are waiting an age each time. The toddler pool is large with lots to do. Staff were friendly and helpful.

It is a little bit cold there. Changing rooms should be more private. Lots of fun for adults and children. Engaged and friendly employees. Lots of activities outside the pool. Affordable prices. Nice idea with quick access for hungry swimmers.
