Just coffee this morning which was very good and very hot. Staring at the wonderful cakes on display did my waistline more good than eating them. Were I always so strong!

Absolute gem of a coffee shop, tucked away in the little village of Horbury. The owners go out of their way to make your visit perfect. Their afternoon teas are fantastic, such a variety of treats and very reasonably priced too! This is my favourite coffee shop ever! ❤️

Got a afternoon tea for 2 to take away and it was absolutely phenomenal. The food was amazing! Everything was fresh and last minute bits were done as I was there so nothing was old or sat around in a box. The meringues were out of this world. Everything was made and displayed with a clear love for food and care for the customers. Would recommend this to anyone to eat in or take away

We was recomend to eat here from Gemma at the clothes shop. No 10. She was right. It was one of the best food we have had all week.. We are on holiday from lanzarote. & was so nice to visit horbury. Well worth a visit to eat. Home cooked & delicious. Wish had room for more. Very reasonable price........ Back again from lanzarote. Went with my sister. Food as good. Standards have increased.. If that is possible the carrot cake was to die for 12/10 best little Cafe I have been in for a year. Since last visit

This is without doubt the best cafe in Wakefield . The food is delicious. Its fresh and inventive. I had a spicy chicken salad bowl and the flavours were amazing.

Here today for afternoon tea for Mums 90th birthday. Best afternoon tea we have ever had and we have tried many. Lovely staff who were really helpful. We had a fabulous time.

We had my daughter's 7th birthday party at Rich and Fancy today. We did cupcake decorating and afternoon tea and it was absolutely wonderful! The cakes were out of this world (scones, lemon drizzle, chocolate brownies and the most amazing strawberry shortcakes) and finger sandwiches were delicious. Rich was really welcoming and engaging with the children and everyone had a great time. Would highly recommend!

We had my daughters cup cake party today. It was amazing, better than ever imagined. They decorated 2 cupcakes with butter cream and sprinkles after a demonstration, then had afternoon tea. The girls eyes when they saw the cakes !!! Absolutely delicious, especially the brandy snaps. The adults afternoon tea is delicious, prices need to be revisited as for what you get people expect to pay more. I can't wait to go back.

A lovely independent coffee shop in Horbury. Fantastic food and delicious cakes. My favourite was the cream tea.

Rich & Fancy coffee shop is my all time favourite to be for delicious food whether it be lunch, afternoon tea or Richards very special supper evenings. We were there for my husband’s special birthday party, it’s small but the food and atmosphere were amazing, all our guests loved it. During lockdown Rich & his lovely family have been supplying cupcakes and celebration cakes making special days happy ones for their customers. Looking forward to being able to visit this lovely cafe again soon.

We love it here, great food and great prices. Their afternoon tea is one of the best we have eaten, and we've tried quite a few. We also ordered cupcakes and cakes for Christmas and a birthday celebration, they did not disappoint

Visited today with my Mum and my 7 year old. What a great little find this was. All meals were well presented and tasted amazing! There was colouring and activities available to keep the little one entertained and all the staff were extremely lovely and very welcoming. We are definitely going to be back and we would highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Booked onto supper club, had to wait a few months as it's very popular! I knew it wouldn't disappoint. There were two dessert options, neither of which I normally like, but absolutely gorgeous! I devoured mine then had a taste of the other - also amazing! Not sure how he did it but Rich certainly knows what he's doing. The home made brownie from there is also very yummy!

Just been for a Birthday celebration with my two cousins and had Afternoon Tea. It was absolutely delicious, one of the if not the best Afternoon Tea we’ve ever had. (Believe me we’ve had a a fair few afternoon teas over the years) Everything was home baked, fresh and beautifully presented 😋.Excellent service, nothing was to much trouble.I would and will recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely go again. Thank you Rich & Fancy.

Waited 45 minutes for a platter and sandwich in the freezing cold shop, got home and they hadn't even put the crusty roll and butter or crisps in and hadn't even bothered grating the cheese in half the sandwich (see picture). Rich needs some social communication training as he is very short with people. The poor lass working with him was really nice- hence the two stars. If he gave more responsibility to her then things might not take so long- she's more than capable. A real shame as we have previously enjoyed takeaway platters before.
