One of the best burritos we have ever had. Food was piping hot and the service was second to none. The waitress that served us was only happy to help with suggestions and checking everything was okay. As vegans it can be hard to find somewhere that has options for us and to see a few different options on the menu was great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to Windermere.

Visited with my family of four. Was very pleasant from the start, staff member did there best to get us a nice spot at the back for the pram. Food was amazing, honestly one of the nicest Burrito I've ever had. Probably the best. Very good value for your money.

Absolutely love this place the best Nachos I’ve had ever. We ordered Nachos and Quesadillas and Jarritos. The staff are super friendly and they accommodated us outside on request. Food was amazing and authentic.

Fantastic food! Warm and inviting staff and spectacular food. Absolutely blown away. Had the salted beef quesadilla and my husband had the surf and turf burrito. 5 stars is not enough! The guac alone is worth the stop but try everything!!

Yes this is the place. One of a kind locations and food. Do try the drinks straight out of Mexico and the sauces. The staff is very friendly and serves great food. We tried the spicy 🔥 versions and the food was really great and mouth watering. Good for groups couples and even families. You will leave with a satisfied tummy.

Food is so good that we went two days in a row! Burritos are delicious with clearly lots of love gone into them. Filling is extremely generous, with plenty of meat. Staff are super friendly too. Despite doing takeaway you could feel the place had a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back :-)

We went for a late lunch and it was amazing. There was a lovely warm welcome and the staff couldn't do enough for you! The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend the enchiladas and a gin and guava jarrito! Can't wait to come back again next time we're in the lakes.👌🔥

After reading the amazing reviews we travelled up here early Fri lunchtime to be met with a warm welcome. Nachos with pulled pork, house beef burrito, beef quesadilla, mac and cheese with crispy onion, all dishes were made with fresh, quality, ingredients and fantastic. Good sized portions, great value for money. The hospitality was warm and friendly from all. I could not recommend this establishment enough.

Brilliant food, different from other burrito places I've been and the staff were incredibly friendly too. Due to Corona iris seating was a bit restricted but we managed to get the table outside to enjoy our food in the sun. Loved it

Lovely friendly service and fabulous product too. The order was one chicken burrito and one beef. You can eat in at the back of the restaurant but I got them to go to take back to our holiday rental. The chicken and chorizo burrito didn’t last long enough to be photographed but I got a quick snap of the beef. Great stuff, go.

This place is an absolute gem! Easily the best burrito I've had in the UK. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt welcome from the instant we entered. Food was amazing as were the Mexican sodas. If visiting, make sure you leave room for dessert. The carrot cake was one of the best I've ever had! We will definitely be back when we're next in Windermere.

Now what do you expect when you go to Windermere ? Beautiful scenic nature , fresh countryside air, and warm people ! Well that’s what I thought, till my tummy started to have the pangs for food. The homemade nachos from bandito burrito just decided to make merry in my tongue and blast their flavours leaving me hopelessly drowning in greed for wanting more of it! I liked the name Bandito burrito , and I entered with the hopes that this cook right here would be the bandito to steal my hunger away , but guess what , they stole my money away with some amaaaazing food! I think now when you say Windermere for me , more than parks and treks , I would remember this food, and sometimes would take the odd train from piccadilly to Windermere just for their burrito. Must try : - The homemade nachos - The chicken burrito - The veg/ Buddha bowl. The staff are really warm and welcoming and they were even sweet enough to guide us the best transpiration to Keswick !! Amazing place serving some of the best food , keep it up guys ! I’ll be seeing you soon, since I am one of the last ones who still stays faithful to my tummy and cheats my calorie deficit 🥵

Outstanding, best burrito I've had in the UK, and I've been searching. Haven't found anywhere else in the UK that uses tomatillos. Incredible friendly and welcoming staff, casual vibe, nice art on the walls. Recommend 10/10.

When ever we come to Windermere this place is on our list. It never disappoints. The food is fun and delicious. The service is brilliant, I am always so impressed. I'd recommend the pulled pork and highly recommend the strawberry and mint margarita! If you are in town do check it out, you won't be disappointed. (Surf and turf burrito bowl pictured, I was too busy eating to take a picture of mine!)

Best nachos ever tried in the UK! Highly recommend! Burritos are great as well, but trust me, the nachos is a surprise. Staff are very friendly, as expected from a 4.9 star restaurant. I couldn't finish the burrito and about half of the nachos (shared with family). Dishes are big.

This place is a hidden gem. The burritos were delicious. I had a pulled pork and Mac & Cheese burrito that was to die for and my wife loved her Vegan burrito. The service was great and the price was good for being in Windermere town center. Definitely recommend.

Our group of 6 stumbled across Bandito Burrito today - what a great little find! There was not enough space available inside so we sat outside in the sheltered area on a rainy day - our waitress was very accommodating and made sure we were as comfortable as possible given the conditions! The service was great, staff were very friendly and helpful. The margaritas were delicious and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals - definitely recommend!

A MUST! We did our research before coming to the lake district and this was very well reviewed and you can see why. It is small and dainty but sensational flavours for a more authentic taste. This was probably my favourite place we ate out all week. I had an upset toddler on the visit and they were calm and patient. The other customers didn't seem to mind too much either which put my stress at ease. It is dog friendly but I'd suggest unless you eat outside or have a small dog not to bring them. BOOK IN ADVANCE!!

Best food coma in a long time! The staff and service make this a great place to stop by - the food, a great reason to come back. Felt very welcome, with great care taken to accommodate; from suggesting just the right hot sauce to our dish to being invited to stay a little into closing time to try dessert. The food was nothing short of delicious, can't go wrong with the loaded nachos, and our burritos had us considering another round each - all of this finished with a brownie & ice cream dessert that was to die for. Solid gem to stop by for an amazing meal in Windermere.

Unreal food! stumbled into this cosy mexican resturant for an early dinner and I'm so glad I did. The food was fresh and full of flavour, the service was friendly, and price was even better. I had the salted beef brisket burrito bowl. In a town with a lot of over-priced tourist restaurants- this establishment is a true gem.

Huge, delicious burritos filled with quality ingredients. We ordered the chicken and chorizo with jalapeños and the pulled pork with guacamole. Both were super yummy! Took a while for them to prepare them (20 minutes) but we just wandered around and then came back.

Amazing amazing Mexican restaurant. Loved the packed burritos, topped with extra hot sauce, and it was super filling. Super service too by the staff, and they gave it a very homely feel with their attention and recommendations. Best burrito I have had in a long long time! I will be back again very very soon...

Was okay and everything is clearly homemade but couldn't taste any heat from the chilli beef. More options to customise such as a range of salsas and different types of rice to choose from would be a good addition. Had more flavourful burritos for the same price elsewhere

What a delightful surprise to find an outstanding Mexican restaurant in the English countryside! The presentation of the burrito bowl is different from what we’re used to in California, but it was delicious.

Just eaten a fantastic burrito, and what a fantastic place, exceptional food and the 2 ladies working there were lovely, salt of the earth people. No doubt at all that I'll be back, highly recommend!

We popped into here on Tuesday morning for a cup of coffee and a cake. First class friendly service but the main focus of this review is how safe we felt in the present conditions. . Taking all the correct measures including wiping down seats after customers left.

Really amazing burrito spot ran by a couple of friendly Lake District locals who have imported ingredients, sauces and drinks to make it really authentic to Mexico. The food is fresh and flavourful. Don’t let the exterior of the building put you off this amazing little gem.

The food here was so yummy!! The ingredients are all super fresh as we saw some people bringing over boxes of veggies into the restaurant. Happy music in the bg and that burrito filled me up for the whole day 😄
