Friendly place to take the kids for a Sunday Afternoon. 50p each 3 lap ride. Run by enthusiasts and volunteers and there's some seriously impressive Miniature Engines too. My kids love it here

Well worth a visit if your close by, even though it's out of the way and only open limited times it is one not to miss. The staff and volunteers are all knowledgeable and friendly and at 50p a ride (3 loops) it's amazing value

Quaint little place a little off the beaten track. It was fun to see the drivers put real coal into the tiny engines. My nearly 2 year old absolutely loved going round on the little trains. Great place for a birthday party for young kids.

Good place to take kids when open weekends. Rides are 50p a time and food.. Burgers, hot dogs ice-cream etc really well priced so not a rip off place to visit. Different trains to travel behind.. Steam and diesel. I think that sometimes they have old vehicles attending. Worth a visit when open. Car park is free.

I had a very quick visit Saturday morning. The club members I met and spoke with were friendly and easy to chat to. The track has altered for the better since I last called and a new garden gauge, 16mm - G1 track has recently been added. Not quite finished yet. The covered steaming bay was new to me and a great addition. I didnโ€™t try the catering today but I've never had a disappointment here. A great place to visit, I'll look out for next years dates and hope I'm free to spend more time there.

๐Ÿ˜  In short, don't waste your time. They don't want you to come. Sadly here is an example of where a perfectly good softplay has been ruined by management who are uninterested in the customer experience and would much rather you not come. After arriving in person we were told the only way to book was...
