UPDATE: This weekend (23/07/2022) we celebrated our wedding and The Outside Kitchen absolutely SMASHED it with the food! Our guests LOVED the food and I sh*t you not, we've had people messaging us saying that they've tried to recreate the food at home because it was so good! If you're looking for wedding food that will be a hit with your guests and will be food that they'll actually remember, BOOK THESE GUYS! The team are also the loveliest bunch of humans and I can say from experience that they'll really make your day! P.S. we had canapes with welcome drinks, greek style sharing platters for the sit down meal and mac 'n' cheese for evening food and we're still thinking about it now. Just really good, banging food! --- Yesterday evening, we went for our pre-wedding menu tasting and we're nothing short of BUZZING! Not only are the team fantastic, but the tasting room looks ace, the service is top notch and the food blew us away.

The guys from Outside Kitchen catered our wedding at the Oakwood at Ryther in August last year. They did such an incredible job. The menu was entirely bespoke to us and we had full control. They were also excellent with my allergies and catering to different dietary needs, nothing was too much trouble! We struck up great banter with them straight away and they go the extra mile to get to know you and what vibe you’re going for. The staff on the day were also great, and the wedding tasting event prior was a total highlight. We were really looked after and they listened to any questions/rambles/rants and offered great advice and pointers. I’ll just end by saying the food was INCREDIBLE!!!! All of our guests kept saying the food was so delicious. Best wedding food I’ve ever had, hands down (then again, I suppose I’m biased!). Definitely give them a try, worth every penny.

We booked The Outside Kitchen for our August wedding. As you do when booking a wedding you make a few enquiries. TOK were the only caterers to pick up the phone and ring to find out more about us as a couple and our foods of choice which immediately made us feel like we were going to be in safe hands. We enjoyed a tasting of a sample menu about 9 months before the wedding and decided upon the delicious Brazilian BBQ. On the day there was sooooo much food from the delicious canapes (the vegan gyoza and chicken bao buns were particular favourites). The starters of antipasti boards were piled high with delicious cheeses, meats and olives. The charcoal cheddar is something everyone needs to try. Daniel made sure we were looked after alongside his brilliant team. Special shoutouts to Gus whose communication throughout was so helpful and also to Teddy who was a joy to have with us on our day. The BBQ was served to tables rodizio style and all the guests loved the food. Dietary requirements were no issue and guests with complex allergies and intolerances were given fantastic alternatives. Overall we couldn't recommend the Outside Kitchen more! So many of our guests have complimented the food saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We just wish we could do it all over again! Thank you!

Daniel and the team, what can we say other than WOW! You guys were unreal from start to finish. You catered our full day and the food was perfect. I don’t think we’ve tasted anything as good as we did on our Wedding day. You were so helpful and easy to work with right from the start, nothing was too much for any of you. The Outside Kitchen did the catering at our wedding and we could not recommend them enough. From the first time we spoke to Daniel he made us feel at ease and guided us through the whole planning process to create the most amazing menu just for us. His knowledge and passion makes him really stand out. He absolute knows his stuff and he could not have done more to put us as ease and make everything as special as possible. A last minute request (the day before) for 90 mini Espresso Martini deserts didn’t faze him and he absolutely nailed. Even having time to do shots some of the vodka with the Grooms-party behind the scenes. The food was incredible on the day and the service from Daniel and the team was exceptional. The whole day couldn’t have been any smoother thanks to them. We could not recommend Daniel and The Outside Kitchen enough!

We’ve just had our tasting evening for our forthcoming wedding and it’s was absolutely BANGING. Jamie, Daniel and the team were excellent, the food was outstanding and they’ve put together a cracking little venue. The Outside Kitchen have got a very, very good thing going and we cannot wait to see them all again for our wedding. The best choice we could have made!

Daniel and the team... we're not really sure how to describe them other than rock stars. We booked the Outside Kitchen for our wedding and Daniel's passion for food was way beyond our expectations. Even just our tasting night was a dream, everything was so delicious it was a nightmare to choose! Compared to some other companies, these actually listened to what we wanted and created a menu that was personal to us. The lead for our wedding day, Gus, was quite simply the tiniest superhero you could meet. She bossed it and ran that team like a well oiled machine. She made sure we got to eat our canapes, for which we're eternally grateful. Everything was outstanding, service was epic, and I'm so glad we made the decision to book them amidst the plethora of options out there.

Where can we start.......we were let down by another catering company who cancelled our booking about four months before our wedding. Panic set in. The Outside Kitchen were recommended to us by our stylist (Mave Weddings). We spoke to Daniel and immediately we were impressed by his 'can do' attitude and creative thoughts about how to include elements special to us into our wedding menu. Fast forward a few weeks and we had an epic tasting day with them and we were convinced we'd made the right choice. We had a large marquee wedding (165 guests) and Daniel and the team provided a full service of canapes, wedding breakfast and evening food....from a tiny tent in the middle of nowhere. How they managed to produce the standard of food and service they did we genuinely have no idea!! We had lots of amazing feedback about the style and taste of the food from guests and other suppliers. These guys will work their socks off for you and are simply a fantastic team to work with. If you are looking for great food and drinks, service and people....LOOK NO FURTHER!! Just go ahead and book The Outside Kitchen. Thank you Outside Kitchen! Choosing The Outside Kitchen was one of the best decisions we made for planning our wedding. We could not recommend them enough and wish we could have it all over again. From our initial consultation Danny made the process simple, explaining how things worked, helped us refine and build our menu and generally worked his magic. We took our best man and family for the tasting session where we had the best evening sampling the food cooked by Danny and star of the show Evissa. Then the pandemic hit... Danny and Heather could not have been more supportive in working with us during uncertainty and postponements. Whilst the stress for themselves must have been intense, they made us feel at ease and supported with more than one date change. During lockdowns we were regular customers of their Dine at Home offering and we still miss that now! The food was always incredible and we were also so excited that it gave our friends the chance to taste their food before our wedding. Thanks to this all our guests were counting down to getting Outside Kitchen food as much as they were finally seeing us get married! We couldn't recommend the whole team any more and feel so happy we chose them and a little jealous of all the couples still to have their amazing food! Where to start! These guys are absolutely amazing, planning a wedding due to happen a month into a global pandemic could have been the most stressful time of our lives, but because of these guys everything seemed so simple! They were flexible, kind, and all round good guys. Now the food - OH MY GOD! We had soooo many compliments all day on the paella, I almost had to loosen my corset I ate so much! Nothing was too much for them and the staff were faultless, I found out a couple of them were on their first ever shift and they were so professional and calm you wouldn’t have known! Thank you for making our day perfect, might get a quickie divorce just so we can get married again and book you 😉 If you don’t book these guys you crazy!!

We used The Outside Kitchen for our wedding catering and they were absolutely superb from start to finish. We knew we had made the right decision straight from the tasting, and the food was just as good on the day (paella, meatballs, salads and a selection of antipasti). Daniel, Jamie and the rest of the team were great to deal with, thoroughly nice guys and nothing was too much bother, even all of our last minute guest changes. We got to know these guys during lockdown with their dine at home meals and we knew we wanted their food at our wedding! We had an amazing tasting session - thankfully we ate plenty at this as we didn’t manage to eat too much on the big day, but we hope to rectify that in the future with any pop up events! Dan was amazing at giving us ideas for what food we could have that really represented us as a couple, using flavours and cuisines from some of our favourite places in the world. We had a few allergies that needed catering for and that was no problem at all! On the day, we were given the first canapés as they came out, and had a board to ourselves so we didn’t go hungry! During our meal we were SO well looked after by Heather, your lovely daughter and the team. The most important thing is our guests absolutely loved the food! We also used Outside Kitchen for our BBQ the night before the wedding which also went down amazing. We knew it was a busy week for them but the food and the service was 10/10. We would recommend these guys in a heartbeat and can’t wait to eat their food again (already thinking of what other events we can host!) Thankyou guys so much, we loved having you as part of our day!
