Reasonable prices. Food was running late so I phoned the restaurant and got nice service, telling me it won't be much longer, so thank you. Ordered the bang bang cauliflower, which was delicious. Definitely delivered on the name, full of flavour and certainly leaves a bang! Salt and pepper fries were nice, just lacking in the sautéed vegetables. The wok and box chicken bites were the biggest let down. Everything else came in little individual boxes but these came in a brown paper bag. The taste was a little unusual and kinda greasy, went well with the satay sauce I bought though. They did provide some free sauces which were all packed with flavour and delicious, thank you. The delivery driver gave us nice and polite service too, thanks.

Really nice food but the service was very poor. We were waiting for 45 minutes for only 2 items off the menu. It was so slow that a just eat delivery driver had delivered 2 orders before we got our order. The food was very tasty and the only reason we are giving it a bad review is because of the service and we didn’t even get an apology. They didn’t seem bothered.

Absolutely love this place, Only found out about this place like last week and I'm in love lol. Ordered online but called up to put in a (weird) request and they were happy to make amends for me. Food was absolutely divine. I highly recommend this place. Wait time is around 40 minutes but I don't see that as a bad thing as all their food tastes hot and fresh.

Ordered here mutliple times now, amazing food everytime, so good that i try something new everytime. DO NOT listen to these 1 star reviews, anyone breathing can see 1. they not even rating the food most of them, 2. clearly cant tell the difference from good food and thier dogs poop. 3. If you complain about waiting 40 minutes for fresh food you should go to McDonalds.

Amazing first takeaway from here. Perfect portion size for one person, with generous amounts of meat, salt and pepper chips were great. Delivered right on time also, great place and probably my new favourite.

I’ve ordered from Wok & Box a fair few times and have tried multiple items off their menu. Every single time I’ve ordered the food has been amazing and is easily one of my most favourite places to order from. However, I received my food tonight after an hour and a half wait, my food was still hot! I ordered sweet and sour with udon noodles - they were definitely not udon as this is something I’ve ordered before and eat from other places. The spring rolls were very very oily this time, an issue I haven’t encountered with here before but today wasn’t as up to scratch as usual. Normally a really nice takeaway to order from and I’ll still be using in the future. Generous portion sizes for the price too!

I ordered food from this takeaway last night around 9.20pm on Uber eats, they accepted the order and said it’s getting prepared and showed it will be with us in about an hours time. We waited for 2 hours and there was no food although on the app it said its getting delivered to us. We rang the takeaway and there was no answer, later checked their opening time and the takeaway closed at 10pm. I am absolutely disappointed as I had no food prepared and waited hungry for over 2 hours. Why would you accept the order and take the money but not delivery the food. Not happy with this service whatsoever, absolutely rubbish.

Very nice food, spice was good, portions were decent. The Mongolian chicken noodles were 10/10. Ordered for the family and we all enjoyed it very much.

It’s a shambles from a customer service perspective. I was told last night that I would have to wait at least 45 minutes for a takeaway when going in the shop to order , when I objected, the woman behind the counter increased it to an hour. I decided to go elsewhere and had a great Chinese takeaway nearby, if you are happy to wait an hour plus for your food despite physically going into the shop, wok and box is for you, if you look at the majority of their reviews, the waiting times and attitude of the business towards customer service is a recurring theme, I’m amazed anybody wants to wait that long for a takeaway. I’d give wok and box a miss if I were you, they are a joke.

Ordered chicken udon noodles with extra prawn. Food was drenched in sauce, udon noodles are flat and cut into pieces?? And extra prawns, was basically two. Although sauce was tasty, that was all you could taste, sloppy

visited Wok & Box recently and got take out. A restaurant serving chinese food. everything was delicious with generous portion sizes and great pricing. We ordered two of the special chicken noodles. Honestly I am highly satisfied with everything. Keep it up😊I would recommend everyone check their noodles and wings.

The food from here is really very nice. I do a fair distance for it every so often but its definitely worth. I would recommend for anyone especially someone looking for halal food thats a little different to the usual curries or kebabs.

First time trying this place and in a nutshell, I won’t be rushing back. The place looks clean, tidy and staff seem friendly. I tried mix and match box and personally I found it overpowering with too many Indian spices. It was more like a chicken biryani. The salt and pepper chips were really poor. They were fries served with. It’s of chicken, onions and peppers. In my opinion, it’s a poor attempt at salt and pepper chicken and chips. They are fries you’d get with a burger and shake. The chicken had an odd smell to them then too but that’s maybe because they weren’t fresh? Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you fancy an oriental style meal, go to a proper oriental takeaway or restaurant.

I was really hoping this place would be good, but unfortunately it was a bad experience, staff is friendly but not attentive, we stood there for a while wanting to order but the lady carried on doing her tallying up on her phone calculator, when customer is at the till you shouldn't be doing admin work or even at all when customer is inside, i have worked in many food places before and never seen any staff do such things so i found it a bit rude. Next thing was i wanted to choose 2 options in the box as just noodles and chicken would be very plain, i just wanted to add some chips as well, but this is not possible at all, i even said ill pay extra if i need to, but no this is not possible at all i got told. So that was pretty bad as everywhere else you get way more choice than just two things, for example oodles you got 4 choices of things to add in the box. Next thing was i ordered sweet and sour sauce, however the food i recieved lacked any sweet and sour sauce and instead had some brown soy sauce which tasted very bitter. I was not impressed, the chicken was ok but portions was terrible for the money. The decor is pretty weird and the chairs are for little kids style when i saw them i thought it was a joke or something, this place needs a good revamp, it could be so much better and needs to be better to make a name for itself. Please take on my feedback and improve and you will then enjoy a thriving business. I wish you all the best for the future.

Food was tasty and nice atmosphere. The price is good. Service is a let down - didn't get prawn crackers and only realised when I got home. The card machine was working which meant I had to go and get cash.

Food was cold when it arrived, they also forgot one of our main courses, when I rang about this to get a refund I was told they could deliver the main which would've taken 45 minutes so I politely declined and asked for a refund. I was then told they can deliver it tomorrow instead which I again politely declined as I don't live in the area. I was finally told a refund was fine and they took my card details but I never got a refund. Still waiting and this was the 27.12.22. I was told the refund would take 2-3 days.

This place is amazing. The food is so delicious, especially the fire cracker chicken with rice. The rice is the best I've had, and the sauce is out of this world. We're now regulars. Additionally, the customer service is 10/10. Can't fault them.

We travelled 10 miles to try this place out on recommendation from a friend, we ordered a sharing platter and a salt and pepper box as both meals came with chips we asked if we could swap it for another item at an additional cost which they said they could not do. Food was okay could have had a bit more of a kick to it lacked spice, tasted more like Indian food than Chinese. Chicken wings did not taste fresh. A small curry sauce tub was only filled half way and our dips were missing.

I can not recommend enough.. halal, so flavourful and very fresh tasting, not oily like most take away food I have tried. The lady who served me changed my order to cater for my needs which was very kind. Will 100% order again soon.

Excellent authentic food with great staff. Highly recommend take away or eat in. Very friendly staff. Chicken soup was heavenly. Dry chilli chicken was also very tasty and full of fresh spices. You can tell each dish is made fresh when ordered. I wish I lived a little closer I would visit every day.

Fantastic food, big portions and so tasty, we had firecracker chicken, Mongolian chicken, and salt and pepper chicken box. Will definitely order again or come back. Spicy means spicy here!!

Do not eat at this place!! Hygiene is not a priority I have ended up so sick and poorly after having the food with chicken in it from last night. Got food poisoned, haven’t experienced this bad of food poisoning even abroad. Health and safety definitely need to do an inspection but the chicken I got served was clearly bad and gone off for me to feel like this and to have food poisoning. Avoid at all costs!! The taste isn’t worth how sick and ill you feel after you have ate from here.

Absolute shambles of a place for delivery. Nearly 2 hours waiting. Ring up and all they say it should be "any minute now". Nearly an hour between getting the message to say driver is on his way to it actually turning up!!!!!! Even a bit of communication and update would be useful. Through food is good but not worth the money. Maybe better if you sit in rather than having delivered
