07/08/23: I had a great day visiting this beautiful museum. I enjoyed the outstanding view outside this museum

We happened to see this place advertised in a local tourist type magazine, so thought it would be a good half way point to stop on our way home. We had no idea the treat we were in for. Jerry, the curator, happened to be there and shared a wealth of knowledge, history, and fun stories with our group. So much more than what can be read on their display signs. If you plan to visit, just call ahead and schedule a tour with him. The museum is very well done with excellent displays, a penny smasher machine, gift shop, and hands on area for interactive learning. Next door is a coffee shop and Maritime Museum. It's definitely worth a visit!

Like it with our little homeschool group went to do a tour. Kids loved the hands on area to try it out reigning a horse with a model

We were out for a drive - came across this museum. It was like stepping back through time. & The history of carriages was very fascinating and informative, They do have full handicap access & restrooms. There's an admission charge of 9.00 a person & I must admit it was worth it. Very informative staff. There is a small coffee shop/restaurant nest door.

Went to the coffee shop next door. Good cup of coffee. There are plenty of things to browse through and buy. Friendly staff.

Fun stop on our road trip! The staff was friendly and the information was very intriguing. I love finding fun little museums and this one was definitely worth the stop. The gift shop had beautiful locally crafted items.

Stumbled upon this after speaking with some locals. AMAZING. The curators are very knowledgeable. There are refurbished carriages that are spectacular. They have several from movie sets. The barn as they call it has some very unique carriages including an old Studebaker and a mail carriage. This is a must see and will be in my upcoming pacific northwest travel book. They will walk with you and share their knowledge.

Cool stop if you're passing through but I wouldn't go out of my way to see it. Lots of carriages of all different types and they have a hands on sections where you can climb into some. They also have a little gift shop which was nice. Really friendly staff.
