Have seen Dr. Chung and Dr. Whitehead. Both spent unhurried time answering all my questions. They both had reviewed my chart from my previous clinic in Spokane and we're knowledgeable about my past eye issues.

To be fair, I was pretty nervous about this procedure. The staff were very kind and put my mind at ease. The process from start to finish was a smooth sailing experience. When the procedure was completed, I was able to see immediately after! Unfortunately, I have to go back to take care of the other eye. However, I know now that I'm in good hands with Dr. Chung and his wonderful supporting staff. Thank you Evergreen for the miracle of sight!

I had my eyes done with the RX lenses and have been very happy with them ever since. Dr Whitehead is a very good doctor. Very caring and very professionally informing you of the procedure in terms you can understand. I trust my eyes to him entirely. He has a highly trained office staff that work well together and treat you with high respect.

Excellent staff, from the greeter/scheduler to the several attendants. Each doctor is experienced, highly competent, friendly and tells the true story so I feel confident that the treatment prescribed is the best option.

I have been a patient at Evergreen Eye Center since 2014. I was referred there for cataract surgery which I had on both eyes (which gives one a whole new lease on life and respect for ophthalmology!) While I have seen a few doctors there briefly and appreciate all of them, my primary doctor is Dr Gary Chung who has a special interest in corneal disorders and dry eye disease, both of which I have. Dr Chung has a calm pleasant manner; he is very efficient but takes the time to thoroughly explain a condition and its treatment options; he has an impressive education, is published and had been named a Top Doctor in Seattle Met Magazine - what more can I say?! And I so appreciate how he became interested in medicine. All of the Evergreen clinics I’ve been to are fine - the people working there are are helpful and welcoming - but I'm partial to the clinic in Burien because it is a newer light-filled facility and is less crowded.

Same day appointment, nice staff, quick and efficient Dr.s and Admins got me checked in, diagnosed, and on my way! I'm so grateful for the amount of care and communication from this staff!

Dr. Whitehead is amazing. If you have any questions, he explains thoroughly. I had glaucoma surgery with him as my eye doctor and results have been simply wonderful.

I really appreciated being seen the same day I called. The Burien location checked me in quickly and politely, and I only had to wait a few minutes after completing the intake form. My doctor and his technician were very kind and helpful. Within 90 minutes after leaving, my presecription was ready for pick-up. All around a fantastic experience - THANK YOU!!

Highly professional and friendly. Very thorough and patient due to the fact I had to translate for my mom. The doctor even spoke a few words in Vietnamese to make her feel at ease but she didn't respond because she's hard of hearing lol. After I told her that he was speaking to her in Vietnamese but probably too soft for her to hear, she replied with the few words she knows 'tank you I'm fine' which is basically her English response to any question.

Everyone was amazing. Reception area made me feel convertible. I had never been there before. Techs took great care of me. Dr took his time with me. Showing me pictures of Ocular migraine. This was just what I needed. Thank you for being in my life.

I’m hoping to have another pleasant experience as I complete the second part of my cataract surgeries and follow up. The Evergreen Eye Center staff were welcoming, cheerful, kind and professional. Giving me a true sense of calm. Dr Whitehead kindly gave me step by step details as to what to expect and what was happening throughout the surgical process, as I requested. Entire process was quick and according to plan. Kind of amazing that I was able to drive myself to my 8:00 a.m., appt the next day.👍

I'm a frequent patient and find the doctors here to be professional and knowledgeable, but I've had AWFUL experiences with the billing department. Most recently, I kept getting invoices in the mail asking for a missing payment. However, I know this is a book-keeping mistake because I made up that payment when I had a later appointment, and I can see that 2 payments went through on the same date on my FSA card transactions. So I called billings to clarify the situation. Bob from billings was on the line and I said that I think I'm being charged a payment that I already paid for, and then the call immediately hung up. At first, I thought it was a random disconnect so I called a second time. Bob picked up the phone again. I told him that I think the call hung up and I'm calling about an invoice I already paid for, and then the call hung up again. This time, I know he was HANGING UP ON PURPOSE. I was absolutely shocked. I can understand if you don't think this is a billing mistake. You can explain to me what the problem is, and I will listen. But hanging up immediately without saying anything is just rude. I have to sit through at least 3 minutes of automated dialogue every time to reach a person from billings, and getting hung up immediately is not how you respect a patients' time. This is the worst experience I've ever had with any doctor's office or insurance company. The doctors here are great, but if this is how billing treats patients, then I won't be coming back.

I had energy issues and visited there without an appointment, but they welcomed me and checked my eyes soon. I really appreciated it. All of them are very kind.

I’m 74 and never been to an eye doctor, so I was very nervous. The staff put made me comfortable and explained everything step by step. I would highly recommend them

Terrible service from the doctor, did not care about the patients but just to jump to the next one. Extremely expensive for just getting nothing back. I paid way less for the same procedure and better treatment at a small vision clinic. Do not recommend it at all.

Have nothing but good to say about this doctor and staff. Was seen almost immediately when I got there. I have a rare disorder of my eye and Dr Whitehead explained everything to me in terms that I understood. He took time to make sure I understood everything and scheduled the surgery I need as urgent so as to prevent any more damage resulting from my glaucoma. I really felt comfortable with the treatment I received. Definitely would recommend him to my family and friends.

As a new patient it was really important for me to feel comfortable and everybody in the whole office from receptionist to doctor we're great they took the time to answer any questions I had and everything I recommend these guys very highly if you need someone to check your eyes out

This is the first time I have been to your Burien ,WA. office. Everyone was very helpful and answered all of my questions. A very nice clean facility. I highly recommend Evergreen Eye Center.

Everything was perfect the staff was friendly everybody was extremely nice and their skills are exemplary and perfect and perfect the only problem is I've noticed there was a customer performing at a different location where By accident gave him the wrong appointment time appointment time and then on my previous appointment they gave me the wrong location and then today I came from the clinic my last appointment and instead of double checking with the doctor to confirm the appointment time I think they assumed it was 6 months but I was listening and he really met 6 weeks but other than that I have no complaints that everybody was perfect that everybody was nice the doctor was extremely skillful to the point and I had a really good experience except for that 1 very small problem I've noticed Good job though overall

I was really impressed with the urgent care I received from Dr. Chung and his team after I had been exposed to the toxic sap of a euphorbia plant in my eye the day before. Everyone was kind and caring and professional and I highly recommend them.
