Cleanliness is about OK! Had a room at 2nd storey with a window facing the backlane and the Malay Mee goreng shop. Quite noisy late at night but acceptable. Mee Racun serves quite a good plate of Mee goreng with either chicken or lamb shank. If need to go for other local food, walked 10 mins across the main road and head towards their market; plenty of food there.

Very clean rooms, water pressure is strongest I've come across. Convenient for dinner & supper with a restaurant beside & a street hawker starting business from 11pm to 3am. Friendly staffs. Hotel lobby has a water dispenser. The hotel has a courtesy to pay for your parking for the next morning. Excellent service

Great location next to kedai Mee Racun, Maybank just across the road. Staff very helpful n friendly. Room size just nice.. Very clean. Deposit rm50, I got fmly room for rm118 per nite, extra bed rm40. Highly recommended!

I had wonderful stay at Hotel City 88 with my partner for her birthday. The room was so clean. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant even the housekeeper. We felt very welcomed here and will come back again in the near future.

This Hotel really bad and the staff cheating me when I check in the hotel. In 12pm they will annoying you sleeping and ask for charges. The reason they give me is the staff morning is a new staff. So I’m won’t recommend anyone to this hotel anymore. No manager & No boss there solve my problem. BAD hotel in Batu Pahat.

Overall, I had great experience with the City 88, great location! Staff(Ms Wanna) was incredibly helpful, the room was wonderful and clean. Both check in and check out were professionally handled and easy. Would definitely stay again!
