I generally don't like leaving bad reviews but this one probably deserves it and I'm hoping it will lead to an improvement of the service. Firstly the attendants taking orders aren't very friendly and have a not my job attitude. They give out a very negative vibe. You don't have to treat your customers with love and care but you could appreciate them coming to your restaurants. The briyani itself is average. Gravy is sweet and oily. Avoid the mutton if possible as my experience with mutton have been lack of meat but just bones and latest a mutton with no meat but just pure fat like pic no 1. I packed the briyani so didn't get the chance to complain about it at the shop. Overall, not a very good experience. Money shouldn't be a motivation when you're running a food business. Lack of customer care and serving below par meat. I'd recommend shah gam briyani near the food court opposite putra hospital as an alternative.

One of the 2 most famous Beriani Restaurant in Batu Pahat, but definitely my favourite of the 2. The nasi beriani is very flavorful, and you used to need to come by 11am if you want to eat their Gam Kambing (mutton). I recommend you to eat your beriani with Telur Pindang (egg boiled in spices - similar to herbal egg) and Acar Buah (pickled sweet fruits). Their specialy is the Beriani Gam, which means that the mutton / chicken / beef is cooked together with the rice, spices and gravy. Their normal beriani is good too, but I prefer their Gam Kambing. However, nowadays you would need to call in at least a day earlier to book your Gam Kambing as it would be sold out even before they open for business due to everyone calling in to book this dish before they come - either to dine in or takeaway. Gam Ayam (chicken) & Gam Daging (beef) would be sold out a bit later in the day, but I highly recommend you to call a day earlier to avoid being disappointed.

The restaurant is clean. The service is fast. I went there around 9.30 am & the "beriani" is already available. The "Nasi Beriani Gam Lamb" is nice but Nasi Beriani Abah @ Bandar Baru Uda is still the winner

Really disappointing! The system of the restaurant was really messy. Arrive at 01:05 and kambing and daging already finished, Briyani gam also finished. Wait for more than 45 minutes then they said nasi briyani was finished and need to wait for another 1 hour. Got lots of empty space but only given to reserved people. For 3 hours staying there no one go inside the room. Our family really dissapointed and will never go there again.

Great place though. Came here often with my parents and sometimes with my friends. The environment is like Indian-Arabic. The vibes here were great and to be honest, I enjoyed eating here. The Nasi Bariani got a lot of side dishes and you can choose whatever you want. I usually ordered with Meat as my side dish. The meat is chewy, not too clay and it cooked well. The libations were great though, just like other typical restaurants. The service was quick, but not friendly and I saw some staffs that lacks of experienced. Maybe they need to train more. The price is great, not too cheap not too expensive. Recommended for lunch place though!

The delicious and moist rice makes it one of the better briyani dum around. Come before noon to get the chance to sample the lamb, otherwise you'll only have beef and chicken to choose from. Recommended.

Short weekend drive from Putrajaya purposely for a beriani gam. Arrived 1.30 and kambing already finished, altho the shop claimed to close at 5pm. First disappointment. It was sunday for klang valley people, cant you even predict? We went inside, it was full outside. So we just find the table at reserved area because some of reserved people almost finished with their food. After the group left, there are almost 4 empty tables at this 'reserved' seating area. So we sit. 2 of us. After wait 10 min, nobody come to pick up order. 1st waiter - bang saya nak order. He just left picking up all dirty plates and dont bother to respond. Out of sight. So I went to cashier. Cashier - kak macam mana saya nak order? Haa adik duduk dulu nanti ada pekerja. Duduk balik, tunggu. 3rd waitress - kak saya nak order. Dah lama tunggu. That kak asked another waiter to serve us. Finally! 4th waiter - Bang ada reserved tak? Saya cakap tak ada. Oh tak reserve bang kena duduk luar. Saya cakap luar penuh dik. Dalam ni banyak ja meja kosong. Tak boleh bang, nanti orang reserved tak ada meja. After the patience of 15 minutes waiting, thats the gesture? I'm speechless. The place practices an open concept restaurant whereby you can see the staff preparing food and drinks. You can choose to dine in at an additional 10% + overall bill if you choose to be seated in the air conditioned area. Foodwise, the Bariani Rice, Mutton and Chicken Dish complements each other.

There are two sides to dining areas: aircon and open air. Ample parking spaces around the shop. The moment we walked in, we could immediately smell good Bariani beef and lamb. The food is very delicious. Recently the lamp seems slightly higher price could be due to limited supply. Those side dishes are good too. The service is considered quick and friendly. Nasi briyani tastes okay, and you can find similar tastes of nasi briyani in other places. But daging and kambing briyani are superb, and the gravy is rich in flavour, making it unique compared to others. I can simply eat the rice with the gravy alone because the flavour of the meat is already infused in the gravy. The table is set up as an indoor and outdoor table. However, for the air-conditioning area, you will be charged 10% service tax. For non-conditioned areas and outside areas, a 6% service tax is charged.

My family love their biryani rice. The price is reasonable. This is where we will go when we go to Batu Pahat. This restaurant was recommended to me by a Singaporean friend who live in KL. The spices and flavour in the meat and gravy are up to expectations. The long grain basmati rice is fluffy. They serve with an awesome dalca too.
