The food was good but on my first set of Tofu there was a HAIR! So I had to send it back. The service was absolutely insanely slow. I ordered for a beer but it hasn’t arrived by the time I’ve finished eating so cancelled it. Good wifi too. Feel like over 50% of everything on the menu was sold out also. Why even have it there then ?? Not my own hair, I’m blonde 😄 If service was faster and no hair and I could order what I wanted would give it 5 stars…..

Firstly, taste of the foods here is absolutely disappointing and inedible for me. I have never tasted any ramen worse than this before. The basis of the dish, the soup and noodles are tasteless and horrendous. It was only spicy and oily. The meat, seaweed and toppings are surprisingly tasteless and awful as well. Next, the salmon is not fresh and the consistency is off. Environment, seats and atmosphere is alright along with adequate level of service. Parking was easy to locate, so was the shop. In short, it has been a waste of time and money. An upsetting and letdown experience unfortunately.

The food is getting worse. Also, the service is bad . Even though there is hardly anyone, it took them more than 50 minutes to serve a plate of fried rice. The price is unreasonable too.

The waiter spilled a whole bowl of leftover soup and noodles on us without apologizing, some more they chanted “heng ah, 碗没有破”, no apologies afterwards from the cashier as well even though he witnessed the whole incident, the food is not very fresh as well, overprice for the overall experience, mostly the mannerisms of the staff which makes the whole dining experience awful.

It shows the Chef has the knowledge and skills to delivered a quality plates as in the photos. The Chef whom I believe has learnt his craft from a fine Japanese restaurant. The Nigiri is finely shape and the rice just perfect. Soft shell crab is crispy, Tempura Ebi is super crunchy, the okonomiyaki is acceptable. I asked for a Hamachi and salmon belly shashimi plate, though I can tell it is frozen Hamachi, it is still quite good. The salmon is fresh. The service staff although friendly and helpful, lack awareness and alerts. Can't expect too much in a small town, I suppose.

26 Nov 2020. Birthday event and we ordered some fish from air-flown items. One of the fish (did not ask the name but kind of seasonal fish), chef recommended half sashimi and half grill, taste good. Overall food maintain it's standard.

This resto is probably better then average if i compare the japanese restaurant around batu pahat. They use ajitama was littlebit disappointing in to kotsu ramen. Sushi fressness is ok. Hokki gai had little sand.
