Friendly staff serving affordable nice and simple chendol. Ordered this Chendol Special @ 5RM. A basic chendol will cost 2RM.

The best cendol in town of Batu Pahat period!back in the early 2000,Akbar used to sell one bowl of cendol for 80 cent but then the price is 1.50 Ringgit. The nostalgic feeling of eating and enjoying the pure good cendol is the best. The place is renovated to accomodate more customer and the cleanliness is now sitting at a new level.Overall this is the place for you if you are truly a Cendol lover!

A must stop when in batu Pahat! Legendary chendol for decades now managed by their 3rd generation. Starting from rm1.80 a bowl. You can choose to add toppings or ice cream. But we always go for the classic. Less is more!

The famous cendol in my hometown Batu Pahat, Johor. Nothing could stop cendol lovers from indulging in a cooling bowl of cendol, especially in this scorching heat! The humble Akbar Cendol stall located right in the heart of Batu Pahat is famous for three reasons: their good, tasty cendol, the generous amount of mung bean ‘worms’ served in each bowl, and the affordable price ranging from RM 1 to RM 3 only! It’s best savored on its own but you can opt to add sweet corn, glutinous rice, or both to your dish for a little extra flavour! All this in a spoonful makes for an amazingly satisfying treat. It’s no wonder this place is always packed. There are limited seatings available but don’t worry, you can have this dish packed to go! The infamous cendol in Batu Pahat. Always crowded. Variety and pricing are as shown in photo.

Fast service. Reasonable price. I ordered Chendol kacang, and I was expecting peanuts. But their Chendol Kacang = red bean Chendol, not peanut Chendol. So I was bit disappointed on that. Recommendation: chendol + kacang + jagung.

Still the best old school nostalgic mamak cendol you can still enjoy at the Era of globalization (everything seem the same) you can ask boss to top whatever you like as long as they offer it on the menu.

Simple layout. There's a cendol cart inside a shoplot. All variety of cendol. Cendol durian, pulut, kacang etc. Fast service good taste. No frills... just cendol. Highly recomended on a hot day.

Cendol was nice. Had a few variety. Price is ok too. Cendol wasnt too sweet. Just nice. But the durian cendol they just put 2pieces of durian with the seed. The durian was hard. The other cendols was nice.

It wasn’t good anymore. Quality has gone down. Don’t think I’d come back again. Taste a bit bland, the whole thing just doesn’t look appetising

Very nice Cendol. Not too sweet and the red bean is super nice mix with Cendol. Lot of local come in and out, either dine in or to go. The price is reasonable.

Not bad but prefer Lucky Chendol for the attap chee. But for RM2.5 (Red bean) - definitely no complaints! Can try! Rojak RM5 very fresh / tasty... No dark prawn sauce like you find in Singapore though... Just matter of style.... Still very tasty.

60 year old chendol stall, 2 generations of owners. Wonderful authentic taste. Perfect for the hot weather. Our friend grew up in Batu Pahat and swears by this stall.

The shop is quite clean, equipped with a lot of fans, you won't feel hot in here. Cendol taste is ok, but you can find a better one at other place if you prefer more coconut milk taste.

Good mamak cendol. Will come here everytime I am in Batu Pahat. Rojak not so good though. Everything very reasonably priced.

Another popular place to have cendol, ice kacang and other ice dessert in town. They serve rojak too. been coming to this place since kids. another option other than Pak O. Cant compare among these 2. Almost similar... Recommended.

Superb quality! Very crowded and apparently loved by local Batu Pahat residents. I am in love too especially with their Durian Cendol! If there is anything to nitpick then maybe it is the sellers unfriendliness

This Chendol stall has been around for the past 40 plus years, and the taste is still as good. A must try is the red bean chendol.

  • 3/5 Kate T. 2 years ago on Google
Not bad, but not impressive neither. Overall ok

  • 1/5 Elizabeth C. 2 years ago on Google
Yo. Though the cendol is alright, the way they wash the plates and spoons here was just a brief 5 second rinse of water only, without soap, IN THIS PANDEMIC. I saw it with my own eyes while im putting the spoon in my mouth....My mum had been vomitting from food poisoning from 2am to 5am. Please bro, guna la sabun utk cuci.

If you have a strong stomach then it's OK to visit, while we were there my daughter pointed out to us that the bowls were not properly wash and flies circulating near the sink. True enough my wife suffered agonising vomiting in the early morning. Must be very careful while eating santan and hygiene of the place.

Lovely Cendol in BP. Not overly sweet. Comes in regular, or with addition of corn, nuts, special, durian. Fairly priced.
