A
temple
with
a
long
history!
It
has
always
been
a
selling
point
with
the
theme
of
making
money
by
touching
the
South
American
arowana!
However,
it
is
no
longer
as
attractive
as
it
used
to
be
to
attract
frequent
visitors;
the
main
reasons
are:
(1)
The
parking
fee
has
increased
by
$3
(it
was
free
in
the
past,
and
it
usually
takes
about
half
an
hour
for
ordinary
people
to
put
up
incense
sticks
and
touch
the
arowana
before
returning.
If
you
go
there
often,
it
will
cost
a
lot
of
money!)
Secondly,
the
chance
of
touching
the
arowana
is
low
because
there
are
only
a
few
small
holes
that
can
just
accommodate
an
adult
body
to
touch
the
arowana.
If
a
tourist
is
late,
If
you
don’t
want
to
leave
without
touching
the
arowana,
let’s
ask
other
tourists
who
are
in
a
hurry...
where
can
they
be
so
able
to
endure
the
harsh
weather...?
🤦🏻
Therefore,
even
though
I
have
been
visiting
the
temple
for
more
than
25
years,
I
may
not
always
be
able
to
touch
the
arowana
every
time
I
come
here
from
Kuala
Lumpur!
😅
It
happened
that
on
my
way
back
from
my
self-driving
trip,
I
accidentally
discovered
another
place
that
is
more
suitable
for
tourists
to
touch
dragon
fish.
The
large
fish
pond
on
the
ground
and
the
arranged
design
of
this
temple
not
only
make
it
easy
to
touch
the
fish
body,
but
also
consider
some
elderly
people
with
poor
legs
and
feet.
Moreover,
the
open
space
outside
the
temple
is
very
wide,
and
parking
is
free
all
year
round!
It
is
located
in
a
small
town
~Jementah,
halfway
between
Tangkak
and
Segamat,
Johor!
I
visited
once
during
the
Lunar
New
Year,
and
the
temple
was
decorated
with
a
strong
Spring
Festival
atmosphere.
There
is
also
a
hawker
center
next
door,
and
there
is
a
Chinese
primary
school
opposite.
If
it
is
a
Sunday
(the
day
of
arrival),
you
can
also
walk
to
the
Let’s
go
to
the
night
market
(Pasar
malam)
to
buy
some
local
products
and
go
back!
