Lovely 20-30 min hike with paved roads and staircases. Go in the morning for a cool breeze and the morning sky with beautiful gradient colors. The resting hut at the top has a broken staircase so it's not easy to get up unless you're really athletic. I recommend the view about 2 minutes from the resting hut, beside one of the benches on the side of the pavement.

Very steep but very nice! Bukit Banang nearby has better view but this is more fun with more ancient forest feel.

A crucial green lung in the bustling business town of bandar penggaram, bp. Hopefully, for the health and well being of the people "they" leave it as it is and not to make $ out of this gem like what they have done and are doing to other green lungs.

The track is stairway and its in pretty good condition.I wish there's a map for the stairway tho cause I really didn't know where to headed and where it actually ends to fully explore this jungle.Theres monkey but make sure not to give them food as they will depends on it. Make sure to use sport shoes as some of the stairs is a bit slippery and could be harmful if you are wearing sandals. The water flow is slow and not really clean anymore. I ran out of breath just by hiking to the top haha as it was my first time. Would definitely come again to exercise. I've seen few people that came here regularly and actually very nice and friendly. There's a hut at the peak for you to relax a bit and take pictures. Be carefull bot to badmouth or harm the plants for your own safety β™‘

The smell of the forest.. The various shades of green... The mosses clinging to the aged stone steps.. The sound of a distant waterfall.... All guarded by a diligent army of black ants. Loved it.

This time, we climb up to the lookout tower. Saw few 'friendly' monkey. While resting on the lookout tower, approached by bigger monkey. Luckily a broom stick was there and we use it to shoo off the πŸ’fierce monkey. WARNING!!! Never go to the lookout tower alone. When down trailing another route. Again, at entrance 'greet' by few monkeys. πŸ˜’

Very nice training ground, steep and confusing route, endless splits. Please do some research if you decide to hike without a guide. Have came here thrice before i managed to find the summit

It's been a long time since I came back here. My aunts decided to bring me here for hiking. There are a lot of local residents who like to come here and climb this mountain as a healthy activity. They also very consider putting some sticks next to the sign board for people to use it as a trekking pole. There is a public toilet near the entrance, be sure to use it before climbing up the mountain as there were none on the top. During this hiking session, we pick all the left paved roads in order to reach the observation deck. There is a small cold river, it would be nice if you could soak your feet in there and enjoy the chill. Throughout the journey, you can see a lot of fauna and monkeys. It took us around 45 minutes to reach the observation deck, just to find out that it was broken. I heard from the locals that it was broken for a while already and no update from the management whether to fix it or not. I hope the observation deck can be fixed so that other people can use it to enjoy Batu Pahat's view.

One place in Batu Pahat where going to the summit doesn't need permits from Jabatan Hutan. Needs more budget to restore the place to its previous glory. One of the highlight, the observation post, overlooking Batu Pahat town is closed right now because of broken stairs. Still a good place to exercise, if you don't mind the lacking facility.

Serene place to have a short walk The viewing tower staircase is damaged, but I managed to climb up for a view. There is a small stream with cascading water and sound peaceful.

A place where memories used to come here when I was in school. Once went up to the post, then went down without following the normal route. It goes all the way down through the back of people's houses. Now it's still okay, it's just a little quiet when I come. Very clean. I want to go up to the top later. Hehe.

A nice forest reserve with paved walkways and staircases that leads up to a lookout which reportedly allows you to catch a glimpse of the state of Malacca from across the sea. However the long staircases which lead ever upwards means you better have some stamina to get to the top. It’s very popular with hikers looking for some daily exercise.

Great place for beginner's hike. Only about 30 minutes to reach the deck including the flights of stairs. Just hoped that there would be more signs as it could get quite confusing with the multiple routes.

Been going here since I was small. Good for morning walk, exercise, cardio training and family time. The place could be a bit crowded during it peak hours. Overall, cool scenery up top, and most importantly.. Clean (much2 better than a few years ago)

Easy trek up to the viewing gallery, round trip took around 1 hour plus. Some tips: 1. no need to climb the stairs at the car park, walk back out the way you drive in, and there is a slope down to a basketball court area, the entrance is there. 2. After climbing a flight of stairs, you will see a junction where you can either go left, or go straight up a further flight of stairs, with a hut at the bottom right corner, if you want a workout, then continue to take the flight of stairs, it will go around the hill and remember to turn right if you see any intersection. If you want an easy hike, then take the left turn, cross the bridge and take any left turn that goes up.

Went there for some hiking last year and managed to get to the top. On top, i could see my neighbourhood (mine is nearby). It gets a little dangerous for the wild monkeys. Please follow the trails provided to avoid getting lost! And come with friends if u can. Dont feed the monkeys there! It could harm you. Parking are provided.
