Wow! I love the soup. Very thick and fragrant. Pork ribs fall off from the bones.. soft and juicy. Unfortunately they do not serve oil rice or yam rice. Just white rice. Other than bkt, they do have seafood side dishes. I would highly recommend this place instead of the mei hwa lin which has degraded big time.

Although the name suggests a coastal town in Selangor, this seafood bah kut teh place is actually located in Batu Pahat - yes! I'm trying to clear the backlogs as many as I can - and if you look at the location, it's in the same area as Restaurant SY and Sheng Ji BKT which I'd posted earlier. We arrived from KL just in time for lunch and I suggested lunch in the town area before making our way to Minyak Beku. My customer has brought me here once years ago and I remember that the food was quite good. As the name suggested, they are famous for the seafood bah kut teh served in Claypot. Most of their dishes are printed on the wall for you to choose from, but I couldn't order many varieties because there were only 2 of us. ◾Claypot seafood bah kut teh RM35 - prawn, squid, and fish cooked together with the pork in Claypot, and served while the soup was boiling. True to BP style, the soup was not as strong but brimming with the sweetness from the seafood as well as the pork. ◾deep fried spring roll RM15 - very crispy on the outside and the meat fillings were flavourful.. addictive stuff. ◾Stir fried long bean with anchovies RM10 The price here is quite affordable given the fact that they are quite generous with the portion. Of course, one will say that there's seafood BKT in Klang as well, but apart from that you will find other dishes such as curry fish head, asam prawns as well as other variety to complete your meal rather than just BKT alone. For me... I like varieties.

The food is served very fast despite many customers, the fish porridge and the fried ikan pari is recommended for personal opinion! The dried bak kut teh’s taste is quite different from those we tried in kl!

Great restaurant. The fish porridge is outstanding. Dry pork is hopeless. Seafood bak kut teh is ok. Price is reasonable. Ample parking at night. Evening session Open 5.30pm tp 10pm.

Most bad service I ever had in bak kut teh shop. No soup is able to add even we offer to buy the soup only! First bad experience ever in this shop! The one and last time to come here ! The lady boss got no inecetive to even answer us. Until we ask the boss. The boss said that if keep on add soup, all of them that call 1 pax serving adds alot of soup . But we have 9 people here calling 8 pax food ? Ask to add but can't ? Can't the shop cook even more soup to serve the customer ?! Omg! Even ice they have to count ? What a shameless shop is this ? I will not recommend any of u to come here ! Gosh! Frustrated!

Fish porridge was good. Tried all 3 variants of the bak kut teh (soup, dry, seafood) but was not impressed. Fish head is also not recommended.

Food are served fast and delicious. But services can be improved. We are the only table of 5pax. Waiter & waitress just sit there watching. Don't even bother to help refill teapot. This restaurant allow smoking even though there are 2 signboard showing "No Smoking" Even boss is sitting there smoking , really speechless

I saw quite many reviews praising the seafood bakkutteh speciality here. For me, I wasn't fascinated by bakkuteh with seafood as they don't blend well. I still prefer traditional pork bakkutteh. I also ordered the dry bakkutteh but it was far cry from Klang famous dry bakkutteh. The 港蒸siakap was the best dish I liked but it was quite pricey at RM 132 for 1.2kg. One time to try is OK but not for return.

They serve good food, and of course, we are here for the Seafood Bak Kut Teh, you can't find it other places besides here! Delicious, but one thing, they don't add soup for you even if u ask or willing to pay for it. Anyway, it doesn't matter, cos the soup should be more than enough, for me.

Have been here for countless of times for its sumptuous foods despite its poor service. But it was disappointing during my recent visit. The small rice served is absurdly small. RM1 FOR THESE FEW SPOONS. I was regretful for not addressing this matter to the person-in-charge.

seafood Bak Gu Teh actually works! I was skeptical when I saw everyone's review and went for dinner. It's really as good as pork. Do try their claypot seasonal fish porridge and long beans with ikan billis. You can skip the fried springroll. Overall a above average food expericence. Would return again.
