We thought that the attraction is the lake right near the park. Then we walk through the lake side it brings us to the other lake at the upper hill which is the main attraction. Too bad the place is almost dead, not allowed to drive our car to there & almost no maintenance. This place could be glorious just like Tasik Y Batu Pahat & would be great if they build cafe & resort

Nice place for relax, exercise, and cycling. Should bring along some drink and towel. Be ready for light exercise and walking while enjoying the nice natural scenario here, together with chipping sound of animals and birds. Beautiful place for recreation.. you can jog and walk around but be careful because there are many monkeys. My advice if you wanna bring any food please hide it well, even plastik makan tu jgn dibiarkan terdedah, as the monkeys very aware with that too. They thought there are foods in there.

I managed to only explore the park a bit due to its closing time at 7pm, the scenery here is very beautiful especially at the lake side. It is a good place to hang out with family and kids, with a playground inside for kids. Beware with the monkeys wandering around though. The down side is that the park does not look well-maintained, and the souvenir shop at the entrance was also not opened during my visit (around 5:30pm-6:30pm).

Our expectations were high and we were prepared to spent more than one hour walking around the park to take in all that we have read and heard about Taman Botani. We were utterly taken aback when we reached there and saw the condition of the park. It was practically deserted. The undergrowth were overgrown. The “homestay” needs a coat of paint and proper upkeep. We couldn’t locate the garden cafe. Overall we were utterly disappointed, and left as soon as we could. There is so much potential in this beautiful park if only there is proper maintenance. Hope the management will look into this matter. Thank you
