not crowded and the guides are really cool and not pushy. there's entrance fee of 15k i think. guide is optional, i would recommend using one if you're visiting for the first time. the waterfall itself and the surrounding area is beautiful. they recently finished building a toilet/changing area and some wooden chairs you can sit on and chill. the river itself is ok to swim in but there are big rocks under and some deeper end, you can't see of course because the water is murky. it's definitely worth checking it out. look out for a big banner of the waterfall name along the road. google map will take you to someone else's property

As you come in you'll be flagged down by locals - these are volunteers that are passionate about bringing tourists to see their waterfall and also volunteer in maintaining the waterfalls. They are happy to take photos and show you where you can jump in for a swim. One of the volunteers has an Instagram, he may ask your permission to take a video so he can add audio and make a movie (@wikannusa). Everyone takes great pride in their waterfall, it's a hidden gem. Not as big as other waterfalls, but the included guides/photographers are exceptional. Price in July 2023 was 15,000 donation. I paid 20,000 and would again because it was a really positive experience.

The most beautiful waterfall and I've seen a few now. Very quiet still, not loads of steps, not touristy at all. Absolutely adored it. The village guides are just fabulous and just ask for donations to keep it so beautiful 🙏❤️🙏 highly recommend you visit this beautiful place

10/10 would recommend Really nice and quaint waterfall - would spend the whole afternoon here if I could~ fresh waters with great views. Highly recommend for anybody who loves water and a good time. There is no official entrance fee, but there is a donation box outside, with a min. amt of 15k. I think it is super worth it and just treat it as a token sum to help the villagers here maintain the facility (building the bridges, benches, changing rooms, etc.) And yes the donation comes with a guided tour where there will be someone who will bring you around to key photo spots

The waterfall is not too high, so it is suitable for those of you who are afraid of heights. The pool of water under the waterfall can also be used for swimming.

Absolutely best waterfall experience in my life. The family running the place is some of the most friendly and wholesome people I've met. 15k IDR entry, you are provided a guide who also acts as a lifesaver and photographer with no expectations on tips. The waterfall has stunning views, a nice place to swim and a relaxation area. Absolutely blows any other waterfall out of the park, would highly recommend and you would regret not going.

Confused on how to get there, we see the sign board, but missed out on the tiny alley, if you see a donation box, that's your entrance. 15k per person. Small car parking across the street, in front of a temple I think.. walk down about 10 mins, beautiful waterfall, clean, empty, they're building a new bridge, walking up could be quite a challenge when you're not used to exercise. Overall good experience 👍 The locals were friendly.

Nice waterfall, not many people go here, it is unknown. There is a donation box to support the maintenance of the place. The old bamboo bridge is being replaced by a new bridge. Locals will guide you around the waterfall. You may be able to spot monkeys near the waterfall.

Bali has so much beautiful waterfalls to offer! But my favorite is this one. No bars around blasting party music, not too many tourists, no shouting venders…. Only a group of warm hearted locals volunteering to the space, they collect donations from the entrance to build a more stable bridge and to build some seats and bamboo sheds for the visitors, they even built a changing room for whoever want to swim and also a little water temple and pond, they do not get any payment from doing this, but just want to use the chance to strengthen the community and also to practice their English- in their spare time in between their other works ✨ And it’s actually the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve been so far in Bali! There are 3 layers of waterfalls, and a place to have a good swim, monkeys are around sometimes as well

The committee is friendly. 15k IDR entry, you are provided a guide who also acts as a lifesaver and photographer with no expectations on tips. Visited both Uma Anyar and tegenungan, preferred uma, tegenungan is overcrowding even with a pool bar…..would not recommend to nature lover. Just took few quick pics and move to Uma Anyar to spend the rest of day.

Really decent place, very clean and organized! The fee to enter is 15k rp and it is totally worth it for pathway maintenance and local cleaning. There is the main Waterfall and then a mini Waterfall to a deeper place where you can swim. There is even a changing room in this place. Amazing experience!

This waterfall is a gem – not crowded, clean surroundings, just a very refreshing spot. What added to the charm was the boy at the entrance. His beautiful smile and kind attitude added a warm touch to the experience, making it even more memorable. Charming boy, if you are reading this: I am sending kindest greetings! :)

Stumbled upon this waterfall when looking at things nearby on maps and I am beyond thankful for it. The waterfall was absolutely stunning, the locals helped me sit on the water fall for photos and the entire experience was wonderful. Don’t miss this waterfall 🫶

Fantastic experience with my family of 3 kids. Same as the other reviews the locals and so lovely and caring. And helped with navigating the rocks for photos which was amazing as it was out first time. There is about 5 min of stairs but it was pretty safe and easy going. Was so lovely going for a swim and cooling off, what a magical experience especially as we were the only ones there for most of the time. Only thing, our feet were a bit sore from the rocks in the water, if you have watershoes bring them but it's fine otherwise. Thanks again to our lovely local guide so willing to help us.

Small donation to enter, please go with local guide, they are very sweet people just volunteering to practice English and really good fun. We ended up playing football with some of the people in the village after going to the waterfall

One of many hidden beauties in Bali, Uma Anyar is the best kept waterfall secret on the island. Not many people and super friendly local guides. These guys took good care of our kids and even provided a small rubber boat they could play with.

This waterfall is in a small town of only 180 inhabitants and is managed by the same town, they have explained to me. There are volunteers who accompany you all the way if you want and even take photos and videos. The entrance fee is a donation of 15,000 Rp. Access is easy: a small path and a few stairs, not many. In addition, they have taken care to make the steps easier. It's worth it 👌🏻
