Very overpriced if you're a tourist, 500x more quoted than other traditional markets in Bali and even supermarkets. I was followed by a "friendly" lady trying to assist me all so that I'd go buy clothes from her shop. No matter how many times I told her to let me explore on my own, she wouldn't leave and kept trying to hurry me along. Might be a case by case thing but do watch out for this. I managed to slip downstairs when she turned away. Felt bad but didn't want to be followed either. There were so many flies on fruits and food. The place was also very dirty everywhere. I've been to every traditional markets in every country I visit so do understand the conditions they are usually in - have never complained as it is what it is. This place was bad. I had a better time by going outside to the sellers along the river and nearby streets. The fruits and food along there was in better condition than in Bandung Market itself. It's a good experience but was not worth the time for me on this particular trip. Might be due to country just opening again so I'll go again to see if it's different on my next trip.

A smart traditional market. They have an elevator to make it easy for you to buy something too much from upstairs. And this is a big space. Quite clean as a traditional market. And easier for you to find something that u want or need. They have a bridge to connect with Kumbasari Market. And there's a place where u can sit in front of Tukad Badung. At night for sure is beautiful with those lights.

Badung market one of the largest traditional markets located in the center of the Denpasar city. You can find anything you need here for very affordable price. There are 4th floors, the 1st floor - various kinds of meat and spices . 2nd floor - vegetables and fruits. 3rd- snacks, groceries, bakery. 4th floor has food and clothes. There are restrooms on the each floor. There are plenty of parking space. However basement parking so dirty and smell so bad it gives you headache and nausea. Huge ruts running here and there, eating garbage. 🐁

What an amazing fresh produce market - fruit, veg, fish, meat - everything you need at really good prices. It is a vast maze of a place spreading out along the gangs from the central market building. Inside 3 floors of dried goods, clothes, kitchen ware etc. Stalls are jam packed with produce. At the top & in the side roads every is sold off the backs of sellers trucks. Its is so busy early evening but a great experience.

On Tuesday, 13th December 2022, it was my day off, I had planned to do a half day tour in Denpasar. So, my first stop was at Badung Traditional Market. Badung Traditional Market is one of the biggest traditional markets in Denpasar. It was built in 1977 and operates 24 hours a day. There, I found a lady selling Sate Babi as per my taste. Sate BabiΒ  is one such traditional Balinese dish where the meat is marinated with Balinese spices, then grilled or known as Pork Satay, this dish normally served with tipat and sambal (sauce). Tipat (Ketupat or Ketipat) is a traditional Indonesian dish made from rice that is wrapped with young coconut leaves. The meat and fat cutted into cubes and marinated with Balinese spices then will be grilled until done. The taste was great. The combination of sweet and spicy are good.

You will need a good half day to do the whole two three/four storey buildings. Lots to see and bargain for so make a shopping list, and be prepared to bargain, the locals want you to bargain and get into the game. Views from top are beautiful. Be careful with "assistants" following you and harass ikng you. Recommended.

Many choices of Indonesian Street Food. Bakso, meatballs, and Tahu Gejrot, one of the best dishes from Java. Cheap price and a good place to hang out with friends at night. Also, they have a Thrifting Market in the back, so you can do thrifting while you wait for your food.

Was rather disappointed. Came there at 5pm most of the stalls inside were closed. Uncooked with no ice whatsoever outside, it smells bad. Not really a tourist place, wouldn’t visit.

Public river side park right beside pasar Badung. You will get different side of Bali here. It is beautiful and clean. Have no seating here, only taking photos. A vibrant and festive one :)

This place building is so much better than years ago. But sadly the vegetables section are not taking a really good care of the market facility , too messy and dirty. Should take an example from korean traditional market sellers. Fortunately the meat and seafood section one is quite clean, its my favourite section here πŸ˜† Overall, the price is good and has lots of option πŸ‘πŸ½

a weekly shopping place that is very affordable and the most complete in Bali and is always open 24 hours.. I always come at night so idk for the morning time .. they will sell outside the building.. like on the edge of a river.. you will find various vegetables, meat, seafood, etc. fruit.. I don't recommend buying fruit there because some of it is not sweet and rots quickly.. if the vegetables and meat are all fresh πŸ‘ the location is very far from my house but this is the place where you can find everything.. besides that there are also night culinary and some shops sell clothes..parking tickets will be charged 1 thousand Indonesian currency..but if you lose the parking ticket then you will be fined 25 thousand Indonesian currency..oh yes, you will also find several shops that sell various kinds of prayer needs.

One of the traditional markets in Denpasar near Badung river. Place is proper and well-developed. Parking lot is quite spacious. This is the right place to look for some fruits on very cheap price (if you master the haggling technique xd). Also very crowded at night as there was also some park just alongside the river. On some days there were art exhibitions too.

Traditional market. You get fruits, vegetables, meat fish, grains, clothes, flowers .. all in one place. I think it’s the local market for small scale vendors. The vendors are very friendly with tourists. One can bargain on the prices here.

Pasar Badung is a true gem of a traditional market that's not to be missed - whether you're a fan of street photography or simply looking for an authentic cultural experience. The market is bustling with activity, offering a wide variety of fresh produce, spices, clothing, and souvenirs. The vendors are friendly and approachable, providing ample opportunities for candid street photography shots. The vibrant colors and textures of the market make for fantastic photo backdrops, and there's always something interesting to capture. Overall, Pasar Badung is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Balinese culture, capture some great shots, and perhaps even bring home some unique souvenirs.
