Update- changing my 5 star to a 2. This was always our go-to place to take family and friends that visit. Unfortunately, there's been a significant decrease in quality and customer service. Maybe new management, the woman at the front counter is rude and unprofessional. The ceiling was leaking above our table, rolls were much, much smaller in size, bathroom was filthy. They will no longer be getting our business. Great food and service! I highly recommend these rolls...the Cape Coral maki, Tokyo, rainbow and the jalapeno special, also the crispy rice appetizer. I can't say enough about them, you'll want more! Friendly service, very laid back, great ambience! Kelly and the chefs are awesome!

Terrible service. After 10 minutes of sitting, still no drinks. Asked if we could get our drinks that we ordered, chef came (had not even gotten soup/ salad yet) threw rice at our plates after not even 2 minutes of cooking it, got meat before vegetables, and manager lacked customer service. Manager was a total smart a** saying we were “rushing” because we simply asked if we could get our drinks (we had children with us), so she rushed our food. Lost long time, frequent customers tonight.

I reprised my previous review of 5-stars to 1-star. I've been coming here for years and the food has always been great, but my last visit ended it all for me. I paid for my meal ($78.32) and left a $20 tip in cash. As I was leaving, the waiter ran us down in the parking lot as we were leaving. He said we didn't leave a tip. I advised him that we handed a cash tip to the chef. He said that the chef doesn't split tips like they're supposed to and that he wanted more money. I continued leaving and he was still arguing about the tip. I loved this place, but I draw the line when I'm chased down in the parking lot after I already left a more than fair tip.

I can't wait to go back again. So much fun eating!!!! And reasonably good price for such an excellent service and food.

The crispy rice with tuna on top appetizer is amazing. Also, I did the lunch 3 roll sushi combo and the staff was so nice and let me customize my rolls just a little bit. I loved everything, and the experience was great. Definitely will come back.

My wife and I went here based off of user reviews, From what we were reading we thought we found a nice place to enjoy a nice meal, While the people were nice and the presentation of the food was lovely, The taste was not there, The fried rice had no flavor, the Shrimp was plump but did not have anything else going for it, The Sushi was chewy and the calamari was also. As much as i would love to enjoy this place and its food, We could not even eat the food and did not even try to take it to go because it would have been thrown out soon after we returned home. The clear soup tasted good. We asked to speak to the manager about it but they said he was in japan and was the only one that would be able to refund our ticket.

I usually don’t make reviews, but today we had a very bad time in this restaurant. We went there with some friends to have some dinner, we choose the hibachi (it was our second time eating here) We went with our 4yo son and he wasn’t enjoying the show too much since the beginning. The thing is that the “chef” throw each person a piece of broccoli as a part of the show, it was fun until he throw a piece to my son (who wasn’t even watching the show) the first piece just went over his head, he even noticed, the second piece went to his neck and he start crying, we remove the piece of broccoli and it was HOT not enough with that, he saw our son crying and saw me taking off the hot piece of broccoli from his neck, then he followed with the show right away, throwing up two piece of broccoli into my hair there’s a plus, my son now has a mark on his neck thanks to that irresponsible “chef” is a really small one btw, but he has a bubble now just for a small piece of broccoli, funny eh? The worst part is that he obviously saw everything and even say “i’m sorry” he just keep making the show (throwing up two pieces to my hair like I said before) We talk with the manager and she just told us that how can a piece of broccoli make a burn if the give it cold to the costumers, we told her that the piece of broccoli was like a minute on the grill and that was enough hot to make a burn to a kid. She just give us a $15 gift card, funny because you can’t buy a plate with that amount of money Also funny because we are not coming back to this restaurant The food was ok, the rice a little salty, the chef, there’s some good ones, but our “chef” today was just awful, he even didn’t talk to us and he burn my child, and I think that’s enough for a mom. Btw, we paid $125 for that, the worse $125 spend

Had a yummy lunch here after finishing up work and before heading to the airport. The staff was really friendly and doing their part to practice social distancing and wearing masks. My waitress was also very friendly and did a great job keeping my glass full. She made a nice menu recommendation for lunch that I enjoyed. I will be back the next time I'm in town for business.

First time here, wait wasn’t crazy went by super fast and had plenty of seating while you wait. Food is delicious and the portions are good too! Will definitely be returning

Quick service, kind wait staff and chef was awesome. He took the time to cut my 3yr olds food smaller than normal without us prompting anything. Food was delicious.

Went for a birthday party dinner and the experience was nice..sushi was good and I loved that they gave you a bowl full of sauce to fill up your little sauce dish for dipping your sushi 🍣 .. Bathrooms were clean and fancy.. A little pricey to get what we got in the pictures..

They always have a great selection of sushi! The loud drum banging for birthdays is a surprise, so here's your warning! They have the hibachi grills for large parties, and if you are into those, they have a pretty good show.

The place could do much better. The service is very slow, and the dishes are chipped. The food was served sloppily and not fresh at all. If it wasn't for soy sauce and butter, the food would have been a disaster. Please pay more attention to detail and remove broken dishes and rotten vegetables before you serve your food to your paying customers.

Horrible experience with take home dinber tonight. Three hairs in our good before we just quit eating. My wife’s shrimp was so over cooked it was inedible. Salad was wilted and all brown. I called and they didn’t care, wouldn’t let me just share this with the manager. I didn’t want anything more than to just be heard. They can’t even do that. 100% never returning there again.

If you leave this restaurant hungry, you didn't eat your food. The portions are big, so big that you have to get a to go container. Our cook was awesome. She put on a great show.

It was very delicious and fun. The restaurant is very nice and clean. The staff is nice and professional. The drinks are very expensive. Which turned me away from getting a drink from the bar. They add an 18% tip into each person's bill when you are sitting at a grill, which needs to be told to the customers ahead of time. I enjoyed my time here, but honestly, I prefer going to a regular Japanese restaurant because of the prices. I just went here for the party. 🤷‍♀️

The food was delicious, I had the Hibachi Steak, and it was very good. The service was amazing. The waiter was doing amazing. She kept all of our drinks full, and was on top of everything. The chief was great. He kept us entertained, and was very funny. The atmosphere is great, and it is a very pleasant restaurant

Food is standard hibachi, good but nothing different. Cooks are very personable. Don't expect to get non menu drinks as they are almost always out of even the most basic liquors for drinks.

I've been coming with my family here for years and truly no other hibachi place beats Tokyo! The food is always amazing and I haven't found anywhere that compares. The chefs are always fun and nice, very accommodating, and if it's your birthday, they have a surprise for you!

Tokyo Steakhouse has a great menu, a friendly and courteous staff, and offers a great dining atmosphere! With a delicious from the kitchen menu to an amazing Hibachi style dinning! This was the first Hibachi dinning experience for my grandbabies and they loved it! It's a great dinning experience with delicious food and fiery entertainment. My only advice is, if you're really hungry sit on the righthand side or directly in front of the grill because if you're the last one served you can end up getting less than everyone else! All in all, a great night out and next time I'd love to try the Sushi! We will definitely return! 😋👍🍚🍤🍥

This is a very beautiful restaurant with a lot of features to draw your eyes in make the meal more interesting. There is a large variety on the menu, something for everyone, including the kids, who may be kind of picky. This was a memorable experience that I would like to repeat with a different set of friends.

First time visiting here and it was an experience! The staff is friendly and our chef was amazing. She kept us entertained and cooked the food to perfection. Our grandchildren enjoyed it but didn't eat much!

Their clear soup came out hot and delicious I ordered a side of yummy chewy udon noodles and the crispy rice tuna stacks..they were both very tasty..their is hibichi tables there for bigger parties birthdays etc..full bar and sushi bar seating.

Ordered $65.00 worth of food tonight and received wilted lettuce, over cooked chicken & rice, and the best part had 3 hairs in our food. Called the restaurant and was told there was no manager for 3 hrs. To top that off they hung up on us when we demanded he find the manager .

went as a group of 4 little to no wait time for hibachi. food portions were big and delicious service was great. highly recommend. our group got hibachi, chicken, and steak. Everyone really enjoyed their meals two shrimp come with each entrée as well.

Nice place, but the food can be oily and sometimes a tad bland. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Enjoy the atmosphere of the dinner show and interactive chiefs.

From the salad to the steak this place is very nice. The glass i used for the Sake was a bit unused in a while and had some dust on it but other than this the food was very good. I cant wait to try the grill show because the kitchen food was impressive and nearly every time I just get something from the kitchen its not as good as the grill show. Guess ill have to make more friends to go with next time haha.
