My family of four stayed at the Aventura hotel for five nights in February. The hotel was in good condition. Our one bedroom suite room was clean. Our room was quiet and on the side overlooking the pool. We had to ask for extra towels, for some reason we only had three bath towels even though we had 4 people on our reservation. Also, when they cleaned our room after a couple of days, we again didn't have enough towels. Housekeeping was quick in bringing extra towels though. The pool area is nice, although it doesn't get sun until around 11 and then only partial sun, afternoon is best if you want some sun. There really need to be more chairs around the pool also, one afternoon there were no available chairs. One big bonus of this hotel is that they have a hot tub! It is difficult to find a hotel with a functional hot tub these days. The only downside to the pool is that smoking is allowed at the outdoor tables next to the pool, so when people are smoking there, it wafts over into the pool area. That is very annoying, especially when there are kids having to breathe the smoke at the pool. Also, there are not always towels at the pool, one night we had to go in dripping wet because there were no towels. The location of the hotel is great, the Aventura Mall is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It has tons of restaurants and stores. Be sure to check out the giant slide there! There is also a Publix within walking distance which was very convenient. It's about a 10 or 15 minute drive to Sunny Isles Beach and there are several other beaches within a reasonable drive also. The Everglades aren't terribly far also. The breakfast buffet was good and what you normally see at a Residence Inn. I have never seen such a busy breakfast area at any hotel. It was packed every morning. They have oatmeal, waffle irons for make your own waffles, fruit, eggs and a variety of other items. I wish the hotel had their tea and coffee bar open all day like many other hotels do, but theirs is locked up in the breakfast area after breakfast hours. Also, there is no water cooler in the gym, which I thought was odd. I wanted to use the laundry room to do laundry before we left, but all of the laundry rooms were out of service, which was rather inconvenient. Overall, this was a nice hotel and mostly what one would expect of a Residence Inn. We enjoyed our stay. Parking is $20 a day. Pros Hot tub! Clean Quiet room Good breakfast Quick housekeeping Good location Cons Smoking area by pool Crowded breakfast area Laundry was out of service Towel shortage

The hotel was exceptionally clean and quiet. The facility is up to date and well maintained. We stayed on the 8th floor and there was very little noise. The housekeeping staff should be commended. Parking is behind a gate in the adjacent lot. There is a nearby Publix if you need to pick up drinks and food. Breakfast was adequate. The Hard Rock Stadium is about 20 minutes away so this is a good location for events over there.

I dont know what has become of this place. I stayed there during Covid (2020) it was such an amazing experience. Mind you, you have to pay for parking although you are paying top dollars for the room. I stayed there mid July and my stay was not pleasant. My bedsheets smelled like they just got out of a storage room (smelled disgusting), room service is every 2 days, oh the shower glassdoor would not stay close so that would cause water to be all over the bathroom floor. This hotel was such a great place to stay at but it just really fell thru for something that you pay a lot of money for

BEWARE. HOUSEKEEPING IN THIS HOTEL ARE THIEVES. Being a loyal Marriot Bonvoy customer I have used Marriot hotels in numerous occasions. This time however, at the Residence Inn in aventura was a complete disappointment. 1- Parking situation at the hotel. There is a gated parking area which is 100% understandable that you would have to pay $20 to use it overnight. However they claim a public parking across the hotel in between the neighbor’s building as their own and will charge you to leave it there as well. Even though your car will sleep on public space and not protected by a gate whatsoever. Same price $20 per night. Unbelievable. 2- They will only offer room service EVERY OTHER DAY! So your bed will NOT be made daily. This is the first time in my life I happened to see this happening at a hotel. Even though I requested room service through my Bonvoy app. 3- THIS IS UNFORGIVABLE. We traveled with my 1 year old baby. We had forgotten my baby’s sleeping bunny stuffed animal in the room after check out. We called the same day and as the front desk lady Bayzhure explained, they clean the room EVERY OTHER DAY. She wouldn’t know if the bunny was in the room. She claimed however, to have left a note for the next day. I called back the next day, assuming housekeeping already cleaned the room (having warned them already about the toy being left in the room) and SOMEONE STOLE IT!! “Geraldine” called me back saying I CONFIRM NO BUNNY WAS FOUND. Are you serious?? You have such thieves working at your hotel? Is not a diamond ring I left behind you an make money of, it’s my babies sleeping toy you had someone steal from me even after I called warning to please pay attention and make sure to retrieve the toy when found. Anyway… I could go on and on about this place. AVOID IT. That is all I can say.

Really awesome and the ladies at the breakfast were awesome. Breakfast was very good. The oatmeal was too watery. Other than that very good. Rooms were spacious but no one came to clean up. Stayed for 5 nights.

Excellent property in an excellent location. Close to everything you need for a long term stay! The best part about this property is the staff! The kindest, most patient, helpful group of people I have ever met. I felt like I was being welcomed into their home (we stayed for about 2 weeks). Special shout out to Ruth and Geraldine. Those two ladies are gems!

This place has been hands down one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed at. I work for the Ritz Carlton and am able to travel using a discounted rate, I needed to come to Miami for a surgery and so I decided to try this residence inn. It has been amazing from the start. I am so pleased! Great service. Clean. Beautiful renovations. Great breakfast. The house cleaning crew is first class they cleaned our kids messes and honestly we were mortified lol! I felt so bad I wasn’t expecting them to clean and they did… so thank you house keeping crew! Great place.

can't say enough about this Residence Inn. Extremely clean rooms and very well maintained. Ruth, Ivy, Nadia, Dominic and Winter are the reason this Hotel will always be my go to stay. The rate is affordable includes breakfast, close to the beach, right next door to aventura mall, two huge shopping plazas close buy which have a grocery store, ups, laundry and dry cleaning. (but the hotel also has a super large laundry room which is always taken care of and clean) . Hotel Rooms: Modern, clean and extremely homie feeling.

Exactly the number of towels needed were in the room, not more or less, clean neat and comfortable room, unclear and inaccesible parking by the hotel, although we were able to park in the lot next door. Lack of signs inside to get to the room (a sign or two pointing toward the elevator would be nice so you don't have to rely on asking the desk for confusing directions). Do bring your own water unless you don't mind $7 for a bottle of water. Liked the layout of the room with a separate kitchenette and living room area apart from the bedroom which did have a comfortable bed.

Love the proximity to Aventura Mall and restaurants. Across the street from Publix which is nice since the rooms have a kitchen.

I had to stay the night due to work. The staff were exceptionally sweet and rooms were cost and very comfortable. This is so far the best experience I’ve had in a hotel. The mattresses we’re like I was sleeping on a cloud. Finally I was able to get a full nights rest.

Love the location of this Residence Inn, very close to Aventura mall with lots to do there (over 300 shops/restaurants). Front desk workers do make you feel at home and comfortable (especially as. MARRIOTT member). $20 per car for use of their parking lot, but it is secured / lighted and has cameras. Corner suites are super nice, spacious and include a lot of amenities. Will definitely be back to this location for sure.

I can't say enough about this Residence Inn. Extremely clean rooms and very well maintained. Dayja and Ruth at the Front Desk are the best. The rate was affordable and the inclusion of a full breakfast made this selection so worth it especially traveling with children.

This hotel wins with modern rooms and the location can not be beat. We stayed here before our Disney Cruise trip and had a wonderful time. The hotel is probably the nicest Residence Inn I’ve ever seen and behind it is a world class mall with high end stores and great restaurants. Right across the street is the JW Marriott that has a great water park and tickets are easy to come by. This will be our go to hotel when visiting Miami/ Ft Lauderdale.

I had to check in very late. Isabella at front desk was very helpful and attentive. She was great with my puppy and even gave me a discount for parking. The hotel is pet-friendly, $150 pet fee.

Great rooms, spacious and tastefully decorated. Your experience will be even better if you are lucky enough to interact with the super kind and professional Ms Ruth Perez, definitely an asset the company must valorize!

Once checked in, we noticed that the carpet was soaking wet in the room. My husband went down to front desk and the situation was remedied by a room change. I would've given five stars if we hadn't run in to this problem upon our evening check in.

Friendly staff from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Rooms are a good size with a kitchenette, so we were able to grab food from the Publix behind the hotel (hint: don't walk around, just cut through the bushes, saves you time through the heat) and make some instant noodles in beef broth. Doors are thick so outside noise is minimal. The air conditioner is loud but if you are tired enough, you will get use to it. Breakfast was included and it was good. Individually wrapped eggs/sausage/cheese bagels and waffles (exceptionally sweet), yogurt, boiled eggs, Starbucks coffee and all the regular other stuff (instant oatmeal, cereal, etc.). They even have take out bags and coffee trays. The adventura mall is close by (again cut through the bushes) but if you are looking for a deal, this is not the mall you want to shop at. All in all, a good hotel choice...thanks to the staff for a wonderful experience.

This hotel gets all the stars for more reasons than one! The service was impeccable. Staff was friendly, kind and super accommodating. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. The location was perfect being right off the mall and in close proximity to restaurants, shops and all. Breakfast was mediocre, but I could deal with that one low point. I'll definitely be back.

Hotel is updated and clean, staff was nice. Three stars bc the ac unit is literally inside a closet in the bedroom. It’s loud, and we couldn’t sleep hearing it all night going on and off. Terrible design, expected better from a Marriott.

Right next to Aventura mall and there are a ton of things to do. Pool was nice and room was beyond what I expected as far as it's modern feel. My only knock is that we were roomed near the front lobby and we heard horns honking during our naps.

LOUD! My experience in room 408 was horrible. I stayed for a week and never managed to get even one solid night sleep. The traffic is constantly noisy. I then experienced the absolute torture of being awoken at 5 am with non stop blaring music coming up from the ac shafts. Even after calling down to the front desk it still persisted, earplugs couldn't drown out the annoying high tempo beats! Also, speaking of the ac... it was extremely loud as well. I had to cool my room down before bed and hope for the best with it off or it's super loud clunk and motor would wake me every 45 min. Lastly, the sheets suck, very low thread count and my low back is starting to go out because the mattress has no support. I cannot wait for my business trip to be over so I can flee this horrible hotel room experience!
