Pharmacist, Charles, believes it is his job to judge and to be condescending to anyone who is trying to get their medications filled. He blatantly lied several times while we he was on the phone with me, I then asked to be transferred to someone else, and he hung up on me... I've been going to this center for 4 years now and have never been treated with such disrespect. Most of the staff is kind, others, like Charles, think they're better than you and do not try to help the situation at all. They will try to get you hooked on a medication, then not let you fill your prescription anywhere else, even if they do not carry it.. you will just have to wait. If it's not about the bottom line, they could really care less. The turnover of their employees is AN ISSUE!!!

I was new to the area. I had been on medication for attention deficit since 2000. I started seeing a therapist and was told I would be set up with a doctor as will need reassessed for my illness. I had been on the same medication for many years with good effect. I saw a therapist there for several weeks. After several weeks I asked her when would I be seeing the doctor for that assessment. She then told me that man quit and they were waiting for a new professional to do the assessment. So basically this office just strung me along for over a month never telling me they had no one working with the office with the credentials to provide me with medication I had been taking for decades . The lack of communication concerning my care was unforgivable. The therapist I was originally assigned, put the paperwork through but the secretaries misplaced it. No one ever informed me they had no one in that needed position. The only contact that office focused on was the bill. I looked at other reviews. A staff member complained that all the CEO cared about was money. As a client I can tell you that was exactly my experience. I would not go to this office ever again. In fact I am really turned off by any mental health counseling in this area.

I have been coming to Charak since 2016. This place has helped me be successful in so many aspects of my life. Everyone is very friendly and has the right resources for any challenge you need to resolve. Very clean environment and restrooms. Would recommend to anyone. Ps the front desk is wonderful, I had made many new friends throughout my time here. (Ceejay)

Over the span of the 2 yrs I've been coming here, 2 urine tests have allegedly come back positive - once for opiates & once for THC, and I don't use any drugs or even drink (or associate w/ people who do). My name/info hasn't even been written on the sample cup a few times when they hand it to me. It usually takes over an hour (once waited 5.5 hours) to get my script of just 7 doses & there won't be anyone else waiting. On the plus side, if you do well in their programs, you'll progress to the next steps early, which I did. Sujay, Laura, Erica, Marisa, Analia, Noah & Stephen are all my favorites & make me feel like they really care. I can't say the same for a couple of the providers I've seen. I was recently told, "I'm trying to find any reason at all to not give you your meds today" (imagine telling a patient, who is trying to better themselves, that you're looking for any reason to NOT help them). I was nearly in tears after the combative way I was spoken to within seconds of meeting this provider for the 1st time. I am a very passive, agreeable, quiet person, so it's startling when I'm spoken to this way. Never knowing if my test results will accurately reflect my actions, or if I'll be accused of doing something I haven't done, or if I'll be met with an abrasive tone, or if I'll be able to get my meds, it causes me anxiety every time I come here & that's unfortunate.

This practice will fraudulently bill your insurance for another person’s claims if you have a common name. 8/24/24 in response to the request to call billing: I’m not wasting my time again. I spoke to billing in November 2022. I was told someone edited my patient profile to change the birthdate to another Jennifer Smith and started billing inpatient claims against my insurance. I went in circles with billing last year and they just submitted against my insurance again in August 2023. I called and spoke to an office manager Tuesday 8/22/23 and no call back yet from that individual’s supervisor.

staff are very unprofessional. i spoke to paul and as a care coordinator of the px insurance . our job is to ask if has avail for diff px with diff ages. but this staff named paul is upset that we call multiple times to ask if has avail for diff ages and diff px. for Substance abuse and paul is very unprofessional in call. he is not welcoming and sounds like he doenst want his job at all. his job is to answer any questions, availability , fax ,contact number etc. even its repetitive . i suggest that this kind of staff will be removed. this people are not welcoming to new patients

Charak center for healing is the most awesome place for Mental health!!! I had been going to other mental health centers and they never seemed to get on board of what was going on with me. My anxiety was high just to walk in there door for appointments. When I finally thought this is getting better my Dr's would leave. I have had the best treatment with smiles and joy from the crew here at Charak. My mental health has never been this stable. I love you all and Thank you for listening and helping me.:)

Pharmacy people don’t want to file claim and very mean they make me pay and never file claim with insurance.Don’t want to return call no matter how many voices you leave .Please stay away from this place.
