Great food! Awesome service! Portions are large and if you eat in, the chef may even surprise you with extra samples or special garlic naan bread. ❤️ I had Butter Chicken and Samosas so good! My husband had the 3.protein platter, so I sampled all of that too. 😁 This is more of a counter service restaurant but there are tables and you can eat in. The Chef and his assistant are great to interact with so I give 5 stars for the atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and it has been a great experience whenever we go. We'll be regulars for sure.

I’m a shawarma fanatic and this place has really tasty shawarma! No one makes shawarma fries in the Tampa area my only thing about the fries is you don’t need the lettuce and tomatoes if you slap more sauce on their it’ll be #1 seller! Overall tho great service and amazing tasting food! Will be coming here again and bringing friends this time!

Al Shishkebab offers a genuine dive into Mediterranean flavors with its dishes. I tried their Mixed Platter and it was amazing. The richness and creaminess of the hummus, paired beautifully with the assortment of meats, ensuring every bite was a symphony of tastes. The chef, who was from Pakistan, brought a delicious touch to the traditional dishes. His evident pride and passion for the culinary arts shone through in the dishes, guaranteeing not just a meal, but an experience of top-notch quality. Al Shishkebab is a must-visit for those wanting to experience authentic Mediterranean flavors. Whether you’re a carnivore or prefer plant-based meals, this restaurant has something delicious waiting for you.

For these reasons I dislike leaving a negative review as the staff here were very polite and friendly. The place had a reasonably clean seating area and free wifi as well. However - and the most important - the beef shishkebab sandwich and red-lentil soup I had here for $15:81 was the worst I've eaten anywhere for years. I'm still disappointed at the terrible quality even a few hours later. The sandwich was completely tasteless with a texture similar to cardboard and the soup had no flavour whatsoever and was extremely thick and dry. I was stunned at the poor quality considering the positive reviews here. They did ask me on a few occasions if everything was ok, but I couldn't be bothered complaining as it was just so bad.

I really can't say enough about our experience at Al Shishkebab. The Chef was full of charm and personality. We could tell he was eager to please us with his food and service. We ordered a beef kebab platter and a butter chicken platter. We took a seat in the bare bones dining area and in 10 minutes our food was ready. Visually inviting and smelling like heaven we immediately dove in. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I couldn't stop until I had cleaned my plate! No frills counter service and styrofoam containers keep prices very reasonable and the portions are more than generous. If you want the best Mediterranean food in this area give this place a try. We will be back often.

Owner was nice and welcoming. For me the food was just ok. Wasn't terrible, just ok. I will check them out again to see if that was just an off day.

Al Shishkebab. Just dined in for the first time. I tried the beef wrap and it was amazing. The portions were perfect, just like the service with a smile. I eat out quite a bit and have a few favorites but El Shishkebab for a new spot is now high on my list. Can't wait till the next experience. John Mackenzie

I ordered from Uber eats so I’m only rating the food. It was $25 with tip and everything included. I got the butter chicken platter. It had maybe like 6- 7 pieces of chicken with hardly any sauce. There was no salad as mentioned in description. The eggplant dip and yogurt salad was good but small and the pitas were straight from the bag. Generally they are warm/grilled. The flavors were good but the portions were not worth the price. I’ll stick with ordering from Indian restaurants from now on.

I’m so glad there is some delicious Arab food in our area, the egg plant dip is superb! As well as the platter, there was chicken, beef, and kofta with rice. Hummus, tatzki, and tomat/onion salad on the side. There is enough serving for 2/3 people for the fair price! Everything was seasoned beautifully. I was pleasantly impressed with the quality and freshness of ingredients. Very inviting atmosphere. They also serve some Indian cuisine such as chicken Tikka. I highly recommend Al Shish Kabab! Everything Halal.

Was excited to finally see a genuine shish ka bob place open in the New Port Richey area. We've ordered three times now and the excellence is consistent. We've had the chicken shawarma, shish ka bob and falafel, all with the excellent rice bed and salad topping, hummous and pita sides. The portions are generous and flavors authentic. My last time in the proprietor gave me a sample of his Butter Chicken, which was excellent as well. I guess our next step will be to try the Indian/Pakistani dishes! The chef is friendly to talk to and the restaurant very open and cleanly looking. A great addition to the area!

Please read the full review. At Al Shishkebob, dine in you will not have linen napkins, restaurant quality silverware, or even a dishwasher type plate, or table ordering. However, you will have an authentic ethnic meal. I had Chicken Shawarma platter it was 4.5 / 5.. All fresh veg were fresh and crisp. Plenty of chicken and rice well flavored. The sweet n sour beets were awesome. The Pita bread was so so, and Humus was okay (both could be better). Staff was very concerned that I had a good meal, and it was. They have only been open for 3.5 months and they are on the right track. I hope they do humus and good pita for an appy before dinner in the future. There is good reason to try this place. Good food. I hope the atmosphere improves (tacky signs and artwork, and an area that had a sink).
