    I think I irritated the owner when I asked her how I could get some hot, fresh brisket, but in my defense, this was some excellent, juicy goodness! I would love to snag some of this brisket right out of the smoker (if she would let me!). I tried the 3 meat choice (pork, ribs, and brisket). The brisket was excellent, the pulled pork was juicy, and the ribs were flaky and came off the bone nicely. The original and hot sauces (hot is more like mild) were good, and though I liked the vinegar sauce, I felt it needed a bit more sticky/sauce vibe to it. The Mac was good, and I personally liked the Cole slaw. it wasn't too much "mayo", and was light and had a nice zing to it. Don't be fooled by the small location; this one is worth a stop.

    The absolute best pull pork of my life! I had the 8oz sandwich and it was to die for. My husband had the baby back ribs that were great as well! And the brisket although a little salty for me, still waters my mouth. It's a must stop if you are in the area! Just beware that they don't have seating outside, only for take out.

    Best bbq I’ve ever had in my entire life. (Don’t tell my papaw) Chaz at the window is the literal best & I’m pretty sure pit mistress laurie’s hands were blessed by god himself. The mac n cheese has the most unique blend of cheeses I’ve ever tasted, soooo good. The greens will make you slap your husband and file a divorce, hoping laurie is single and will accept your proposal so you never have to miss a day of this deliciousness. If you haven’t stopped by this hidden gem of hernando county, that needs to change!! Go enjoy a day on the weeki wachee river & unwind at lauriecues picnic tables with a hearty brisket sandwich. If I could give it 60 stars, I would.

    Wonderful Que and delightful service! 5 minutes from the house will see us there often. Had the 4 meat platter that did not disappoint. Everything cooked perfectly with nice smoky flavor. We tried 2 sauces, original and fiery, that were both tasty. Next time I’m going to try the mustard based sauces. Check it out, I think you’ll love it.

    Amazing BBQ and service. Super flavour and portions. Surprisingly great tables in behind! They don't sell drinks so you have lots of options at the gas station next door. Thanks loads. Highly recommended.

    I tried the smoked lasagna special they offered one night and wow was it delicious!! Truly a unique homemade dish that you cannot get anywhere else. I can’t even begin to say how great this place is! You get to eat delicious food and drink delicious brews at marker 48.

    Tried lauriecues for the first time the other day and here is my HONEST review. The brisket was dry and needed more seasoning. The Mac and cheese tasted like they just threw a bunch of Parmesan and pepper in it. The cornbread was EXTREMELY salty and dry. The collard greens were actually decent but could have used just a tad more flavor. Overall I don’t think I will be back and I honestly don’t understand the hype🤷🏻‍♀️ I wish them the best.

    The Most Amazing BBQ around…. Not just in Hernando County but possibly in the State of Florida! I routinely make the drive from Trinity, Florida (45 minute drive) when I get urge for some awesome Ribs & Beef Brisket! Actually everything is cooked to perfection at LaurieCue including the sides (collard greens & Smokey beans are the best!). The Best BBQ joint around & Laurie with her crew are so friendly and kind! Highly Recommend!!😎👍

    Have had the brisket a few times now ..and boy oh boy it doesn't disappoint!! it's always been delicious and has had great bark on it! the corn bread is one of the best i have had! the sides have been excellent as well with great portions. i have had the mac n cheese, the coleslaw and the greens. this BBQ is a must have !

    Excellent everything! We had the briskets and chicken. Meat was fantastic and juicy. Just the right type and level of smoke flavor. The sauce selection and taste were amazing. The sides, collards we’re about as good as they get. Laurie cue is not in the regular rotation for our household. Great work!

    I’ve been here twice, the first time me and my husband both had the brisket sandwich with Mac and Cheese and green beans. The brisket is heaven on earth juicy and delicious!!! I love veggies and her green beans are the best I’ve ever had and probably ever will. Second time we had ribs coleslaw and collards, idk how they do it but it is the best BBQ meat we have ever had. Highlight for me every time is trying the different sauces they make, I love a vinegar based BBQ sauce and this spot has got the very best. Worth every single penny, I’m hungry now just thinking about it. Thank you to the whole crew for always pushing out the best BBQ money can buy!

    I mean I just don’t know what to say. Wow. Unbelievably great barbecue. I have been trending towards brisket because I just couldn’t find good pulled pork but this place restored my faith in great pig. The brisket and coleslaw was fantastic by the way also

    So here's the thing. I have been making BBQ for years. I particularly like to make brisket, and I am good at it. Most people who have eaten my brisket have told me it is one of the best, if not The Best brisket they have ever had. Now that I have tried LaurieCue's brisket, I can honestly say that theirs is better than mine. I can't believe I waited this long to get food from here. I have tried most of the other places in town, and they don't even come close to being as good as here. Now granted, all I have had is the brisket (so far), but I think brisket is the hardest type of BBQ to get right. And they got it right. (And then some)! On top of that, the people running the operation are some of the nicest people. I can't wait to try the rest of their stuff!

    The rub on these ribs was amazing! So glad I stopped by this cute little place. Prices were slightly high but when you try the food it's worth it completely. I'd most definitely stop again if I were in the area. And HOLY CORNBREAD 😍 Absolutely delicious.
