We are loving our stay here at Barrington Hills RV Resort. The park is quiet and SO CLEAN. The residents and all the staff are so friendly. They have a heated pool and a big clubhouse. The laundry room and shower rooms are also clean and everything is in great working order. The staff threw a Christmas party for all the kids today. Santa made an appearance, they had food, crafts and even presents and stockings for each child. This is a wonderful park with friendly people and it’s safe and fun for families. 5/5!

We stayed there for 2 weeks and during our 2 weeks the showers were never cleaned and the shower pipes were clogged which means that my feet were in about 2 inches of water and on the site there is only one place to go to shower. The toilets were not cleaned on a regular basis and no cleaning schedule existed. The electric outlets in the ladies restrooms didn’t work for the whole duration of our stay. We complained to the manager, which was very kind and apologize for that but nothing got done. For those who love nature I really do not recommend it, because there are very few trees. Another negative point we had to pay for the internet. The only good point is the swimming pool which was clean.

Barrington Hills Encore is an RV Resort. They do have rentals of park models. The residents are very nice. Encore expects cleanliness of yards and homes - same for the RVs passing through. They also expect people to clean-up behind their pets. There are bag and trashcan available to support that cleanliness of pets. There is one dog park. That is NOT cleaned if the people whom visit don't clean. There are social dinners, a pool, pool tables, workout equipment, and other classes/activities to engage in. I will return to this RV park.

Sites are not kept up well... The sand we almost got stuck in was crazy. Spots are tight and ours was not angled, so it was hard to get in and out of it. Very packed in. Nice staff around park and in office. Friendly community. Feels very safe and overall clean. Nice pool. Lots of park activities. Horrible phone signal. About a 10 min drive from the water where there are a few bars/restaurants. Really pretty to watch the sun set. Not a whole lot to do in the area.

We had to make 2 bookings, 3 nights with thousand trails and 1 via Internet because on the phone they said that there is no thousand trails possiblity anymore. So we paid for 1 night and asked to stay in one place during our 4 night stay. It was a catastrophic experience. We had to move 3 times for 4 nights. But we left anyway 1 day before. Never again. Tiny place, rotten place all 3. Toiletry dirty. People did not care about the rules. Chairs at the swimming pool were occupied although nobody was there for the 2 hours i was there. Kids were diving! Nobody cared! Never ever again. I will not renew my thousand trails pass. We will sell oir rv!

Been here almost 6 months , waters sometimes off no warning …people that live here are awesome salt of the earth !!! Its quiet and most part i really like it here ….but one BIG WARNING !!! watch your bank !!!! Older office lady after getting all my personal info and seeing my bank account ran my card on file for 400.00 … out of my bank then took 100.00 more for annual app fees … she had my info carrying it around in a folder with another lady that lives here 😳 ….with all my personal info in hand she said it was sent in ….so i check my credit hadnt been checked … then she told me it was declined for annually … and theres no owner info or main office number posted anywhere your stuck dealing with older woman that will not let you talk …..another just like her …instead of the 547.00 a month she said because moved to a cheaper space than the 618.00 a month i was paying for a pull thru , she ran my bank card for 732.00 !!! instead of the 547.00 then tells me i have to leave in 4 days my 6 months is up … and nervously avoiding eye contact no its not …..so i started wondering why she was acting so suspect & in a hurry to have me leave early … …. So i checked my statements & hello !!! Then when i confronted the office telling other lady i would be filing fraud on the charges …if not returned ! I was attacked verbally belittled like i was the crook and yelled at accused of being a bum wanting free rent or to over stay ect and saying stuff like you stay till this date then i want you out no excuses yada yada and no trouble about this 😳 i was like Yikes !!!! Who is this person ?? Then says yes we over charged you there i said it what do you want its gona take week or more to put it back on your card …you think about it and call me ? Like i was trying to hustle her …then shes talking to me about the big picture whatever lady i can Add 618.00 x6 months & i can count bimonthly 6 months ….sad part is my mother had just passed so didnt need to be yelled at & accused of being some kind of idk what ….. No i dont want free electric , or to stay longer for free ……….i just want my 514.00 + they took and now upset because they were caught….. smh before they could push me out on my way !! Then i hear from other people they been doing this ….. so idk i just want whats mine returned to my bank …..

Very poor experience with office staff when visiting my grandparents. Hopefully get them to move soon. My grandparents have had so many issues since moving in with issues as simple as having running water.

This place is Amazing!!! It's HUGE. Massive amount of space in this Clean, Well Maintained, Beautiful, & Very Reasonably Priced RV Park. It has Many Fine Amenities. Take a look at the photos on the website. It has a Wonderful Pool and Much More. Great Locale. Two Thumbs Up!!!👍👍

The location is a community with several small houses next to each other and with some RV spaces. Some residents are nice. The park is quite small with some RV spaces very small, making it difficult to maneuver. But it’s clean and organized. The employees are kind. The phone and internet signal are terrible. The road next to our lot was very noisy!

I gave this a 2 only because the office ladies were nice and the pool was good. Otherwise it's a bad location squeezed in between two very busy and loud highways. Not a quiet spot in the place. Mostly a trailer park with a handful of spots for RVs. Bathroom (yes one) is gross. See pics. No way for handicap either. Really surprised Encore put their name on this one. Hard to rest. Our spot was on the end of the row and tons of traffic there too with inconsiderate neighbors. Loud trucks kids on mini bikes. Super noisy. We won't go back.

I recently stayed at this RV park, which they label as a "resort." While it may not be the pinnacle of luxury, it did have its merits. The park was well-maintained, and the staff was friendly, which made for a pleasant stay. The RV spots were a tad cozy, but the presence of picnic tables at each site was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it's a decent option for a relaxed RV getaway.

I've only lived here for a few days, but so far I am happy I chose Barrington Hills. The office staff sent me a text to see if I had any site maintenance issues. 5 stars on staff friendliness and helpfulness, proximity to major grocery, lot rental price, ease to major highways. Happy 😊

Very nice people. This backs up to were my best friend crashed and passed away a couple years ago and strangly we were up this way for my daughter's birthday and because I passed the turn on 52 we ended up here trying to get around a road block, where somone else had ran through the same pole she had! Took out the cross I had made her. Amazingly we ran into the good samaritan, a nurse that had pulled my friend from her car 4 years ago. That I had always wanted to find. It's amazing how things happen sometimes. But everyone was very nice here.

I totally love living in this community, feeling very safe here and surrounded by the best neighbours! Management team in my opinion are doing great job, the terriory is very clean and neat, and any issues are sold really quickly. All three ladies in the management are extremely responsive and nice, I appreciate their job.

We were afraid to use the bathrooms. They were dirty and you could smell urine from outside of the building. No wifi. Basically a mobile home park with a few RV spots. For the most part the resident's are rude. Management was friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our 2-week stay. Sites are mainly gravel, some have concrete pads. Seemed the majority of the people were either annual or seasonal. Dog Park was nice but mainly pine needles. Rec hall and fitness equipment were well kept. Office staff was friendly. Quiet time was observed. Lots of amenities; pool, shuffleboard, horse shoe, billiards, & library.

Ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful. Very nice park, shower rooms, pool, gym and also have activities. Love it here!!!

Love this park. Anne, at the front desk, is a rockstar! She handles everything hat come her way with finesse and efficiency. This park is clean, pool is well kept and a lifesaver for our kids, the staff have been on point and our dogs have really enjoyed the dog park!

Everyone here is so accommodating and friendly. My kids and I just moved in yesterday, and they already love it. Kelly, Anne and Gabriella were so helpful, kind and made the application process simple. The grounds are very well maintained and the amenities are outstanding. From location to service to neighbors thus far, this is a great park for families and pets alike. 10+ Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm new to the RV life now that my children are all out of the house. However, 💐Mrs Anne has made the Experience @ Barrington RV Resort so comfortable and enjoyable. From the very beginning ✨️ she has been helpful, knowledgeable, & Caring with wonderful customer service. Thanks Mrs Anne 💕 🌹Although Anne the Highlight, ALL the staff are great, the other lady who works with Mrs Anne is a jewel, even the guys who monitor the community with misc jobs. ✅️ The community is Safe, Yes been here for months & it feels safe, Nice, Quiet, welcoming and CLEAN👈🏽, now the Bathrooms & showers can use a bit more daily cleaning. Nonetheless, if you are looking for a vacation, a night to lodge while in commute elsewhere, or long-term Experience, Look no farther, Barrington RV Resort ✔️ is by far the most Reasonable price with great amenities (Pool, shower 🚿 and laundry facility, Pool room, mail boxes, etc) and customer service! ▶️ Give them a try....

Restroom shower fill up with water, they do not clean them often nor remove hair from the drains. Gross. The ladies who stay long term are not friendly but the men are so nice. Management was ok but did not let u know the new lock code for restrooms. A lawn maintenance person I think named Cassie was awesome n helped me so much.. kudos to her kindness.

I stayed at my friends place and now I want to buy a cute trailer house and move there I loved every bit of it.

Good location, low on traffic but lots to do close by. Park allows families of all ages and has amenities such as a pool, billiards, shuffle board, Bingo, ice cream socials and on and on.

The ladies in the office were awesome when my vitamins came they texted to let me know. The park has events card bingo was fun, water arobics had a great teacher and the woman were friendly and helpful about the area. We will be back. Thank you for welcoming us.

This is mostly a park model home resort With about 20% RV sites. Beautiful clean resort that is close to the beach and many activities. Nice club house with activities Friendly staff and full time residents help make the park a 4 star resort. The bad news is the RV hookups are on the wrong side in the rear. So extension for power and water are required.

Friendly staff and residents. Sites were clean. Showers were FREEZING! Im not sure why there wasn’t hot water, but it was miserable. Far from beaches and other tourist attractions.

A very well managed Encore Resort in the Thousand Trails system. This is mostly a mobile home park, with many site set aside for transients in seasonals. Very well maintained and clean. Close to shopping and entertainment. We will be back!
