Love Love Love this place. It’s casual and unpretentious atmosphere is a backdrop for AMAZING food at very reasonable prices. Super friendly staff just makes it better. I was visiting the area and had one meal here but I wish I could come here every day for a month to get more of those incredible dishes! VictorB

We came at Lunch/Dinner time before it became slammed. Price for value I wasn’t extremely impressed but overall a good experience. I ordered the Bloody Mary special which had a great flavor and some good garnishes. I had ordered it spicy but it came out pretty mild… which was still tasty but not spicy as requested. The fried green tomatoes were very thin cut which I wished were about 3 times the thickness as it was very heavy in comparison of tomato to breading ratio. But again the taste was good, not overly salted. The crab cake was phenomenal. Light breading with a fresh and flavorful taste. Highly recommend those!!!!

Nice experience. Food was truly delicious. I highly recommend the Yankee Chowder if you're a chowder fan. Big flavor, nice consistency, and fair portion for the bowl price. I also had the half pound of steamed shrimp. Came with eleven shrimp which seemed right for the size of them. It appeared to be more than half a pound but if never complain about that. Came with bread that was nice to dip in the Seller's sauce. The sauce is kind of salty by itself but goes well with the shrimp and bread. It was a little pricey for bread and shrimp for me but I understand the constraints on prices and I knew what I was getting in to when I ordered. My only complaint was the waitress. Kind of light on the service side. Water was empty most of my meal and I had some spice which I needed cooling. It was the busy lunch period but still... I need my water.

I've had a lot of shrimp & grits and in my opinion, Cajun Jimmy's has the best I have ever tasted. Husband had the jambalaya with chicken and alligator and said it was delicious. I tasted it and I would agree. We have been back and tried the grouper, etc., all excellent. Large portions too! They also don't skimp on the drinks. I had a Hurricane that made my knees shake. Lol. Great food and great service.

Wanted good food and was led here through a FB post where it was recommended by many. I can see why - the food was exceptional. I enjoyed the stuffed shrimp, which were big shrimps stuffed with crabcake, wrapped in bacon and lightly fried. On the side, I had Jambalaya and fries. All of it was delicious. The shrimp were plump bites full of fresh seafood flavor and then blasted by the bacon wrap with the fatty goodness that is bacon. I enjoyed the Jambalaya as authentically flavored with a good andouille sausage. I'm normally not super gung-ho about andouille, so im uber critical on that. The fries were thin and crispy as desired, and I was given the choice of seasoned or not, and I elected plain. My husband started with a cup of gumbo, which was excellent. Flavor was on point. He then enjoyed catfish and crabcakes covered in etoufee, which had lots of little crawfish bites and delicious flavor. Overall, he enjoyed it. We had also started with some stuffed mushrooms that had crabcake stuffing and melty cheese, again lightly fried. Delicious but not enough of them. Service was rapid and kind, and our food was fresh. They seemed local and family like, and we loved that. My only criticism would have been the portion size of the mushrooms and gumbo (cup was not full)... but these things cost money so I'm forgiving. Plus, I was so stuffed silly with delectable goodness by the time we were done that in hindsight, we wouldn't have been able to eat anymore.

We tried this restaurant based on the good recommendations I've read and I'm happy to say we were not disappointed! In fact, this restaurant exceeded our expectations! We came here for lunch on Saturday. As luck would have it, they were offering BOGO on oysters! My favorite! 2 dozen for $22, what a steal. They were some of the freshest oysters I've had. My friend and I both ordered the shrimp po'boy and I can't say enough how good it was. Po'boys come with 1 side, I had collard greens, my girlfriend had red beans/rice. Delish! Our server Duke was very attentive, but not in an obtrusive way, he answered our questions, gave good recommendations, refilled our water even without being asked. He should be awarded employee of the month/year! We had such a good experience, we decided to come back for lunch on Sunday. This time we ordered stuffed shrimp and crab cake for appetizers. And we each had a bowl of the seafood gumbo - it had a very good kick to it, but not so that it burned our tongues. Fresh seafood, generous serving, and have I mentioned how delicious everything tasted? I will come back here for sure. Definitely one of the best meals I've had in recent history.
