The website and the reservation were misleading. The unit we stayed in my family and I had a broken A/C. The came and fixed it on our third day out of four. When I asked for a one day extension to compensate for the bad experience it was declined by a supervisor. The presentation was supposed to last for two hours total and it lasted for four and a half hours. If I could give them a zero out of five I would. The unit we were promised to have over the phone was totally different from the presentation unit!!! It’s like day and night. The location of the property is ideal and the ground and maintenance looked great. The sales lady during the presentation was very nice and friendly and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Her manager was very rude when I stated my opinion about my negative experience about the stay. Totally in professional!! I would not recommend this property in the future.

We stayed in building SSS, room 108. I don't know where to begin. First, we had constant issues with room keys. Things like the jets from the jacuzzi and lights in the room didn't work properly. Not only was the room outdated, it wasn't kept clean. Our bed didn't have the proper bedding. It was a duvet insert with several stains and no cover. The rugs were filthy with large stains throughout. There was still hair from previous guests in the shower. I even took a photo of a roach crawling up the living room wall. The other guests in this area were noisy and inconsiderate. We heard yelling, walking and chairs dragging at all hours of the night. My husband had to call 4 times one night to ask management to turn the lights of the tennis court across our room off because the bright lights made it feel like we were in a interrogation room at night and it was impossible to sleep. I felt as though I was staying at the projects during my stay there; not a vacation resort. I'm glad to finally be going back home. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone nor would stay there again, even if it was free.

The stay in itself was dirty from the walkway to the room itself. The walls were old and corrosive and the bathroom seemed as if it hadn’t been cleaned at any point before our stay. I called reception and asked about the coffee machine that was promised along with our stay, which was missing. Reception said they would take care of that right away, which never happened. The condition of the room overall was so poor, we decided to spend the entire day away from the room and were only on the premises to have a place to sleep. During the meeting, we were treated with abundant disrespect. The first two representatives made snide comments to each other in a different language that made it clear they were poking fun at us. The very last representative we spoke to blatantly insulted us after seeing our unwillingness to commit to the horrible service, by suggesting we get “a part time job” to pay the fee they requested to initiate the membership, at which point she stormed off angrily. This was highly unacceptable and frankly we were shocked at the audacity of the representative. There was a lack of respect and professionalism from the entire staff, who seemed to consider customers walking checks rather than human beings. Overall, we would not recommend this place to our worst enemy.

Very nice people and the facility is beautiful 😍. You have tones of choices and a variety of activities to choose from. You honestly would never have to leave the resort. Anything you could need is all around you. Orlando is very close by which makes it easier to get back and forth. So many shopping centers and stores outside of the resort as well. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to go back too Georgia.

If I could give it zero stars. No one books a vacation to be overworked. There is no service whatsoever. There were ants in the bedroom room two days to get someone out and they applied gel bite. Needed a change for the bed after a spill and two hours later nothing. I asked for help was told they have high volume of requests and busy. We did not know there’s no housekeeping when we booked . I wish I knew I would have definitely not come here (they’ll only clean if you’re staying here more than 3 weeks lol). Not sure the hundreds of dollars they charged for resort amenities goes to what amenities exactly. The bathroom drain is broken with pointed sharp plastic pieces that we reported. It’s definitely our fault for booking. Would not recommend and definitely would not be coming back. Look somewhere else

Please please please do not be mislead like we were. It’s cost us thousands and is not even close to what they promise. We went here in 4/21 and sat through Westgate resorts timeshare presentation. My wife and I were reluctant to sign up as we’ve heard the horror stories and really should of trusted our gut. They paint a picture of sunshine and rainbows and walk you through a newly renovated unit promising a clean and relaxing vacation when you book your timeshare use. After several rounds of back and force and then adding things to entice us to sign we ended up doing so. What we have received from them is a far contrast to what was promised, here’s one of the big issues. We booked our time in July/2022 for my wife’s birthday week and was given the room pictured in this review, it was disgusting. There was cracks in the ceiling from multiple roof leaks, the bathroom had mold, the AC air filter had a thick layer of dust caked on it and had not been changed since March. The air vents and the ceiling were coated in a layer of dust and dirt. My 7y/o son has terrible allergies and asthma in which he uses an inhaler for on occasion, he was miserable through the stay. So if you would like to learn from our mistake I personally would not sign a timeshare with them nor would I use them in the future to rent a room.

We've stayed here about 4 times and have loved it each time! Perfect for families, as you don't even have to leave the resort! The water park is amazing for the kids! They actually preferred it to Disney's Animal Kingdom! The washer/dryer and full kitchen really came in handy for savings. We love this place. Huge jacuzzi tub was fun too!

I am currently staying at Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimmee, FL, and this is the WORST resort experience I have ever had. I am laying on a bare mattress because hotel staff have yet to bring clean bedding to my room, despite having requested it hours ago. Every time I call the proper department, I get a different person who claims someone will bring it right over, but they don’t. I have never stayed at any hotel where guests are instructed to leave all their dirty towels and trash outside their door for pickup. Our towels and trash have been sitting outside for hours, too. This whole nightmare experience started the day we arrived, when our villa smelled distinctly of cat and we found cat fur on our bedding. My wife and child, both severely allergic to cats, suffered allergic reactions, with our 6 year old breaking out in hives. Naturally, we brought this to their attention, but nothing was done to remedy the situation our first night. The next day, when we were schedule for our timeshare pitch, it seemed the resort was ready to move Heaven and Earth to make things right, assuring us we’d be moved to a different, better room and that they’d ensure our first impression was better than what we’d experienced so far. After sitting through our entire timeshare conversation and politely turning down their attempt at selling us on one of their timeshare packages, the relationship quickly changed from “let us make things right” to “we actually don’t have a different room for you at this time…we’ll let you know when one is ready.” One wouldn’t be ready until late at night after our children were already in bed on a pullout couch because the bedding in the room had already triggered an allergic reaction. Apparently, the only people Westgate cares to serve are their so-called “owners”. The minute they don’t have your commitment to purchase a timeshare from them, you might as well not exist. Promises for better service and a better experience staying at their resort end the minute you say no to purchasing from them, never mind that they attract potential buyers with multi-day stays beyond your scheduled timeshare sales meeting. Who in their right mind would sink money into a company that treats its guests so poorly? If the “test drive” is this bad, why would I trust that my experience as an “owner” would be any better? I will be sure to warn everyone I know and everyone who reads this review against staying at, much less entering into any kind of purchase with, Westgate Resorts.

This location offers plenty of amenities and is a short distance from various restaurants and shopping stores. This includes Walmart. This is a TIME SHARE location. You have to meet their requirements with: age, (required age not verified by property), income (required income not verified by property), have a major credit card, a spouse that is present, do not live in a 60 mile radius of the property; have not previously toured within the last 12 months. They are extremely pushy with the time share sales and will become quite rude after being turned down. Issues of charging extra fees and/or complications with room access after refusal to purchase. There is no room service offered, but there are several restaurants on the grounds to choose. There are 14 pools that open at 8am and remain open until 10pm, but they do get crowded quickly. Other activities are offered. Overall, I would recommend this location as a great vacation option while in the area. Also recommended to book months in advance if traveling during the summer. Skip the time share. Ideal for group vacations with minimal need to leave the resort except to explore the area or Disney.

Customer service was superb. Our stay was more of that in a hotel than resort. We were offered the jacuzzi room or the kitchenette and opted for the jacuzzi; it was tiny, odd shaped in the middle of the room with no enclosure. The beds were completely worn, the window treatments were dated- as well as the carpet. The pools and Hot tubs had not been cleaned for memorial Day weekend. The poolside grills were clean but the furniture didn't hold up and literally broke when we were sitting on it. My guest and daughter were injured. One of the elevators were broken making getting to the room a real hassle. They did serve cereal over Saturday and Sunday morning cartoons for the guests. The fitness room offered cool towels for post-workout which was nice. There was not a lot of noise on the property which was nice. It's very close to I-4 with lots of dining choices and shopping nearby- in walking distance.

I had to review this resort solely off of the "come view this property in a 90 min meeting" scenario. So, I have only seen what they did via the tour. Unfortunately, I probably never will see anymore. First, my family visited Universal Studios and was approached about "a free gift." We were not looking to buy any real estate while on vacation but the rep was nice so we said we would attend. When it came to the resort- BEAUTIFUL grounds, amazing amenities, and the location was spot on. Had we not had a very poor experience with one of the salesmen, this property would be on my list for Orlando visits w/ my family. Looks like the remodeling everyone else reviewed is widespread on property and going well. Sammy, the initial Rep we spoke with was amazing. He honestly gave us some great conversation, and the offer was amazing BUT we just weren't interested. His manager was the absolute worst. We made it clear this wasn't an offer we were interested in, and he lost his professional demeanor. He tossed the paper across the table, gave a dry instruction of where to go, and never made any more eye contact. No, handshake, good bye just ignored. I was very disappointed and will choose better places to do my business with.

Absolutely great place...close to everything, clean and really nice amenities. The only thing I do not recommend is the timeshare talk as they lied to us about everything from the beginning. Timing, gifts and just rude. We've been to a TON of time share presentations all over the US and this was by far the worst experience. If you can avoid that tho I would recommend it.

I am absolutely furious with the treatment I have received from this company. I was promised a luxurious rental property, with the potential to even turn it into a business by renting it out myself. Instead, I was given a measly hotel room that didn't even come close to meeting my expectations. What's worse, I struggled to even secure a booking at the location I desired. After jumping through hoops and bending over backwards to meet their requirements, I was finally granted a reservation. And then I was slapped in the face with this subpar accommodation. I demand to be released from this ridiculous arrangement immediately. I refuse to pay for a hotel room that I didn't ask for and that does not meet the standards I was promised. It's insulting to think that I was taken advantage of in this way, and I will not stand for it. Anyone who is considering working with this company needs to think twice. They make big promises but fail to deliver. Don't waste your time and money with them, you'll only be disappointed and treated unfairly.

MATHEW, the security staff wearing bright green shades in building 6200 was SO HELPFUL!!! I salute this resort for everything starting from friendly receptionist who arranged the best next to each other rooms that we had earlier than expected to very honest staff (i.e. MATHEW). He returned our lost luggage. The place itself has many entertainment options for its guests. Each room is fully equipped even for long term stays. It was a wonderful and worthy experience that I will definitely recommend to anyone who plans to visit Orlando, Florida.

We were expecting to be taken care of and pampered at this resort as we did not get a car and did not plan on leaving the resort. As it turned out, most things were closed on the resort and we were forced to Uber off of the facility. We were not happy. The resort tried to rectify our concerns with a credit to the room for Mexican food. Pool bars were also closed as well as Drafts.. the Italian restaurant didn't open till 5:00 so again our only choice was the Mexican restaurant. With dietary restrictions, one can only eat that once in a while. Overall, even though they try to fix it, epic fail. It was a disaster

We checked in at midnight after a super long day at Disney. I literally waited for an hour holding my baby to get checked in when there was four employees working and two weren’t even helping guests at that time. They were insanely slow and I have no idea what takes so long to check in a couple families. The rooms were nice though. And then there was another $30 fee on top of the amount I paid online for the Villa with taxes and fees which made it a super expensive place to stay for one night. I liked the environment, but was super disappointed in the service and the price for what we got.

Me and husband stayed last year at the villas and everything was amazing. But this year we had just gotten married and was on our honeymoon. The main outside door was broken on the bottom and was hard to shut, towel hanger was completely coming off the wall, other guest had dogs and their dogs would bark at you every single time you came out of your room if the dogs was near by, also the owners didn't clean up the dog's poop and just left it for someone to walk in it right in front of our room, talked to security about people banging on our walls and running screaming and slamming and jumping, and just for the security to say just call when it happens again and he told me that he would contact me but he never did. The sheets, pillow case, and all other bed stuff was very itchy and super rough. PLEASE HAVE SOMETHING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE VERY SENSITIVE SKIN, SO THEY DONT BREAK OUT AND ITCH ALL THROUGH THE DAY AND NIGHT. Vans and over sized vehicles need a different place to park cause we couldn't park due to a van taking up two spaces. Add more parking for other people cause people do take over more than one parking space.

The villa was really nice It was a perfect setup for the time spent there. Only the pools were closed down the entire time there and had no real connection to Disney World or Universal Studios since COVID. The price was good except you must attend a 90 minute time share B4 leaving to get any kind of family discounts or anything. The price was ok , the location was great and the service was good.

The only thing good about this place is the location to the Disney parks. Service has been terrible! We arrived to the room which looked at least 20 years old. Our first night we requested 3 blankets because all we had was a single blanket and had multiple guests. They didn’t bring us a single blanket but instead about 6 pairs of sheets. Finally on the second night they brought us a single blanket. Our final day they sent us a text saying you missed checkout and were charging you a fee. Luckily they waved the fee but it would have been nice to know this in advance. If you don’t mind poor customer service and outdated rooms this is the place for you.

Wow, this is truly my favorite place to stay every staff member. Every worker is great nice and friendly, the rooms are always in great order and amazing. All areas are very well maintained and looking top-notch. Pools are amazing, and the Waterpark is great. This place would receive a million star review if possible

We Came in for a 3 day getaway. Found everyone to be very pleasant and seemed like they really cared about you. We had a small issue and they responded quickly to try and fix, but was unable so they went above and beyond our expectations to correct it. Thank you staff and especially Danny B. for listening and rectifying our concerns. I Will and do recommend this facility and look forward to staying again.

Enjoyed the many available activities during our stay. Everyone was so nice and the golf cart shuttles were greatly appreciated as it is a large property with lots to do.

Me and my kids were waiting for the trolley at one of the stops and Steve. Pulled up on his hold cart and offered to take our picture. He took a few creative ones and was extremely nice. Thanks Steve for everything.

We had a one bedroom in the remodeled building. It was very nice. It is one of the few resorts that has two bathrooms in a one bedroom. This makes it convenient if you have someone staying on the pull out couch. We also experienced a one bedroom lock off. The connecting door makes the unit uncomfortable if you have noisy neighbors. The resort is smaller than other Westgates in Orlando, although it makes it a quieter atmosphere which we enjoyed. It is very close to the Disney parks. If you get a top floor on the even side then you can see the fireworks from the parks. They have a shuttle that can take you to the Towers resort across the street, but you are better off driving as the shuttle is not reliable. As guests of the Villas you get access to the amenities at the Towers including their water park which is a nice perk. There are also some good restaurants at the Towers.

DO NOT purchase their time share!!!!! Bunch of hidden fees and hard to book weeks. Do not believe under $100 a week stays they are never in USA and I have only seen one post since owning for a week. THIS IS A SCAM‼️‼️‼️ they will make everything sound good for you to buy and even lie and it will be hard to get out of the contract!

We booked this place off of reviews online and when we got there we realized it was not what we read about. The ac didn’t work, it did not get cooler then 79 degrees in the room for the week. The pools were caution taped off half the week. The 2br room was old. Outdated and had a cockroach in the master room. We went to the pool and unfortunately couldn’t relax as there were no towels and the guard there couldn’t tell us how to get towels and there were a few families with a loud radio playing unwelcoming music not suitable for kids. We went to the arcade and the ac was broken so it was really hot in there. They had a fan at the door blowing air in but it didn’t help. There was a child laying on the floor in front of one of the machines and I alerted staff, they told me that I’d have to go out and tell other staff at the adjacent restaurant as they couldn’t help me. Overall if I could give this place a ZERO I would. Please do your research before spending a penny at this place.

I have never been to this resort. My first time here, I’ve been to the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. I enjoyed the room 1704 Just didn’t like not having a patio I don’t like being upstairs. My husband loved the room. Everything was nice. No Window for the shower it had a big circle look like a window or something, the Hot Tub had no mirrors on the Wall looked really weird to me. Overall I enjoyed my one night stay .We may return at a later month.

Awesome experience! They have definitely won me over. My kids loved the resort, the Waterpark was phenomenal. (Pricey) but it was a great time! The staff was super friendly, and when I forgot my bag a with my jewelry, they ensured I got it back in a timely manner. They have definitely earned my business from here on out. Thank you! The Kennel family

The Westgate resort is a great value. Our most recent stay was in a renovated room which was very comfortable and well designed/decorated.(I would share pictures, but with the kids the rooms looked lived in messy within minutes of arriving. :) Not all rooms have been renovated as of yet- but even the room we stayed in during a prior visit, while it wasn't renovated, was also very clean and comfortable. The grounds are well maintained, and the waterpark and scheduled activities are a lot of fun- we really didn't even need to leave the resort. We brought another family with us and they were pleased with the stay as well. Above everything else, the Westgate resort is staffed by experienced professionals. The hospitality business is really tough, and from the front desk managers to cleaning and maintenance their employees are a pleasure to work with. We had an issue during our stay, one that was really out of the staffs control, that was handled with concern and professionalism. Thank you to Daniel M. and staff. We've visited the resort 3 times now and will return again.

This is a great place to spend vacation with family and friends. It's close to Disney and other attractions, they offer transportation from the airport. The resort has many amenities on sight, so you don't have to leave. The employees go above and beyond to ensure customers vacation is an amazing experience.

The 2 bedroom 2 bath unit is HUGE and includes a loft with 2 twin beds. Great for spreading out. Had some issues with no pans in kitchen and only 1 pot. Also the cabinets were cheap and a few were loose and not closing fully. We loved the shops and game room etc. Too cold to try water park.

My first time. My Sister is a time share owner and we had an AMAZING TIME IN OUR VILLA. The room service for coffee, laundry detergent, paper products, all the things you could possibly need they provide. Well maintained property. Halloween is the current holiday. They have decorated thru out the community. It's not raunchy either. We'll out together. I truly will be back.

I love west gate so does our kids but they really need to stay opened longer pool wise and the water park needs to be open til least 7 ( they close at 5 if u ask front desk, but they really close at 6) prices have gone way up they also act like they can’t give u deals when they very very much can’t they charge some things out the butt… overall we own here so we do love it for the amenities. Our kids can enjoy it so whatever!.

Front desk was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were ok but they didn't have comfortable drawers to put your things on and not enough places to hang towels. The kitchen had only 4 of each thing which is annoying, as you usually need one of those to prepare the food and such... The swimming pools were disappointing because they were very small, simple and always crowded. The shock was to go to the pool and when we came out there were no towels to be found. It happens that the pool towels are left in your room and you have to take them to the pool and back. This was not comfortable for us, and doesn't really help if your kids want to go to the pool more than once a day. Then there is not enough hanging space in the room to let the towels dry so... am I supposed to put them in the dryer every day? Such a set up that makes you waste time and energy. I don't know.... we didn't feel pampered in this resort. I don't think we'll come back. We had a second room and that one had bad air conditioning. It took 2 hours of waiting for the technician and then the guy did something really irrelevant to the problem and left. We had to call again, wait another 2 hours and this time my husband had to be with the technician directing the troubleshooting until the issue was resolved. So... 4 hrs of vacation wasted there because we couldn't really trust the technician had the drive to get to the bottom of the problem and solve it for us. It wasn't bad....but it wasn't excellent either. 3 stars is fair.

This resort is great for all ages. It is generally quiet at night. Also, the management is great with communication and announcements. The maintenance and concierge team is very friendly. The pride they take in the resort and making sure there is minimal litter is commendable. Such a great place to be for anyone!

Loved staying here. The room we stayed in was outdated in the washroom, washroom had molt in the showers and the carpet in the room had an odor. The kitchen was renovated and lovely. For the price I expect everything to be at the level of the cost and it wasn't. Customer service was great. The hot tub by our room was broken but within days was fixed, so that's a plus. Overall I would visit again but would require a more up to date room for the cost charged.

It is a very ideal place to spend a vacation if you have the time. A whole lot of amenities for both adults and kids to enjoy. Wish I had more time to enjoy every single bit of this resort but alas my vacation was short. The customer service was very good and timely. The rooms were very clean and well put together o and the bed soft and cuddly like a cloud. Would definitely recommend to people to stay at this resort.
