Very pleasant atmosphere! Wish I was told the soup cup was a tester. I would have ordered the bowl! Crab cake was good. Although prices seem to be getting out of hand.$19.00 for one not so big crab cake. I hope we navigate well through this Super-Inflatiom. Enjoy!

The food used to be really good and the prices couldn’t be beat. I’ve been going there for almost 4 years. I hadn’t been there since December. Tonight I ordered my usual crab cake dinner. I found shells all throughout my one crab cake, the crab wasn’t cleaned properly, and they charged me $37 for two little crab cakes. That dinner used to cost men $22. I’m horrified! Not to mention, their boneless wing recipe changed and not for the better. Not worth the time and definitely not worth the price I was charged. Will not be returning because of the prices alone. I could have had a much nicer dinner somewhere else.

Lovely restaurant on a lake. Very spacious and clean with outdoor dock sitting on a tiki style patio. Perfect environment if you want something that screams Florida. Will make you feel like you’ve been transported to key west. The food was good and in good portions. I had the fish tacos. Filled me up without making me feel overstuffed. The drinks were good too. The food was overall good but not overly impressive however the environment made up for it. Will be going back if in the area. The wait staff was running a bit slow (restaurant wasn’t over crowded went on a Monday) so make sure you don’t go if you’re already starving. Overall a pleasant experience and a a great place if you have company and want to take them to a restaurant that says “welcome to Florida”.

Great views and relaxing atmosphere with live music made us not care that service was a little slow but they were very accommodating. We were expecting bar food but it's much better than that. Our party of eight was very pleased with the food. Unique items like Gator hush puppies raise interest and the shrimp tacos were very good. All of the seafood was well prepared and the Cuban sandwich was worth noting. If you're in Tarpon Springs, I highly recommend you give this place a try.

Great spot on tarpon lake , has marina /dock. Indoor outdoor bar and a decent variety of food. Only bad part was the nats outside once the sun started to go down, recommend outdoor bar or inside to avoid bug bites. Still good food and decent service. Big parking lot , cool dock and good food.

First time visiting Tarpon Turtle last evening.  There were 7 of us and we all had an amazing dinner! The view was gorgeous and the food was awesome.  Paul did a wonderful job serving us!  Tony helped out with an infectious personality. All of our appetizers, food and drinks were cooked to perfection and served timely.  The key lime martini was like dessert in a glass! Highly recommend this restaurant!  I will be back soon.

This place has a great view of lake Tarpon and a great atmosphere. There is outdoor seating with a tiki bar and they had live music when I was there. It was very relaxing eating dinner right on Lake Tarpon. The service was great and so was the food. I highly recommend the Tarpon Turtle for a nice evening out.

What a great spot! If you follow me you know we love any place that let's us bring our dog. They have an amazing deck on Lake Tarpon, where dogs are allowed and the servers are very attentive to people and pets alike. AWESOME SERVICE! Food was delicious we had calamari, the Reuben, and I am always a sucker for a Bleu cheese wedge salad. Three of us shared all of that and still went home with leftovers. We will definitely be back. Thank you Tarpon Turtle.

We went to "The Tarpon Turtle's Irish Breakfast" this morning and we Really Enjoyed Ourselves!! We sat outside by the water. Today is a Beautiful Day to be out on the lake! Their Irish style breakfast was just Outstanding!! I had the Corned beef hash and eggs with home fries and grilled soda bread! My wife had a Reuben sandwich with fries! Coffee with Bailey's!! Our server, David, did a Great Job!! Live music by an Irish singer was a Real Highlight !!!

Had a wonderful date night dinner with my honey at the Tarpon Turtle. Service was outstanding and the food was incredible. I had the blackened grouper and my husband got Hemingway’s chicken. Both dishes were outstanding! We also had a drink: Papas Rum Runner and it was strong and delicious. I would recommend and I will come back. I can’t imagine being disappointed. Next time I will set outside as the have live music.

Amazing hidden gem off the beaten path. Great views. Fabulous food. Wonderful service. Definitely want to come back. My avocado shrimp salad was excellent.evety table has a great view. Drinks were great. Can't wait to go back!

Great place on the lake with amazing waterfront views. The food is good. Nice decor. I had the coconut shrimp bowl which was awesome. The kids loved the Mac and cheese, and the salad was good. They also have more than one bar and outdoor seating

Came here for dinner and ordered three appetizers, 2 out of 3 ran out at 7:30pm, which is not good business practice for a restaurant. Waitresses were not informed by the kitchen when things run out till the customers placed their orders and had to come back and tell the customers. Over heard another table when waitress had to come and told the customers the bad news after placing their order as well. The fish and chips were greasy, and lack flavor. The chicken nachos were flavorful. Too bad for a restaurant like this on the water to have mediocre foods. Beautiful view though of Lake Tarpon

First time here. Our server, now I can't remember her name, was awesome, friendly, and attentive. He name was on her pen but can't remember it. I had the fish and chips. Delicious! My friend had the wings. They were good. I wanted to sit outside despite the heat but opted for inside since the view was just "ok".

Our lunch was very delicious and I really enjoyed my Avocado Shrimp Salad. Lovely atmosphere and view of the lake. Wonderful inside and fabulous outdoor seating. We can't wait for our next dinner here.

We had dinner here with family a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I have eaten here a couple times before in the last year and the food was always just okay, satisfactory, but nothing to rave about. This last time it was so so so much better and definitely a draw to bring me back more often. Also our server Tara was FANTASTIC!! She was so much fun and so attentive and honest about the best dishes. Tara made the experience as enjoyable as the food! I highly recommend the Tarpon Turtle for good food and good atmosphere and if possible ask for Tara when you go!

Great food! We were looking for a dog-friendly place to eat after taking the pups to the dog park at John Chestnut Park and the Tarpon Turtle was nearby … best decision ever! The back patio is dog-friendly and after we grabbed a seat the husband ordered the Mermaid’s Milk stout and I ordered a Corona. He ordered the fish and chips and I the blue cheese burger. So we shared the two meals. The fish was fresh, not greasy at all and crisp when it reached the table. By far the best fish I have tasted anywhere. The burger with blue cheese and mushroom cooked medium was also very, very good. I would recommend either dish. The place has plenty of good parking but is at the end of the brick road on the right. With dogs, take them around the building to the left and there is a back entrance for them. However, if you’re not a fan of getting shaken down for your fries, better to eat inside because the crows are not shy about asking for a bite of your meal!

The food, service and atmosphere were all FANTASTIC!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for top quality food and service! I can only include pics of our appetizers, because when our entrees came, NOBODY wanted to wait for me to take pics, before they dug in, lol! This is the Bang Bang Shrimp (Nice LARGE shrimp) and the Lobster Bisque (very creamy, silky and delicious). We actually ordered another order of the shrimp before ordering our entrees. SO good!

Sat out in the tiki hut for a fabulous dinner. Cob salads fish sandwich and burger very tasty. Plenty of food. Reasonable prices. Tara and Paul were our servers and they were so very nice and so fun. Very attentive and prompt. Tara never let us go dry. Drinks kept coming.

The place is a nice location that is tucked away. The bartender was kinda snappy and inpatient. Snapping his fingers at you if you did have your order ready for him a second later. The host said we were gonna sit inside which I said great cuz it is quite hot outside and then immediately proceeded to say oh hey I'll put you outside. After seeing the table we were gonna be seated at. I found nothing to be wrong with that table btw. The flounder I had was amazing in regards to taste and so we're the sides. However the portions where in my eyes small for 20 bucks . More over the waitress checked in on us 2 times for the hour we were there.

Absolutely delicious!!!! In town from California and was delighted to find this place. Water front creates a great atmosphere. Food is delicious and servers are friendly and food came out on time and hot! Definitely recommend to anyone who comes!!! Churro dessert was amazing!!!!!

We visited a nearby friend and celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary over a long weekend. Tarpon Turtle Grill was wonderful! Delicious food, friendly and helpful staff, and the atmosphere was perfect. The alligator bites hush puppies were rather bland, but we did get a sense of what alligator tastes like rather than it being covered up with spices. Highly recommend going here for lunch or dinner, especially if you enjoy eating right next to a lake or river.

The food was OK. Lots of BONES in walleye,ok flavor. Beans are not good, no flavor. Sautéed spinach was perfect, amazing! Pinacoladas were not very good but the glass and presentation was nice. Very fun atmosphere, the service was excellent.

Wonderful atmosphere on the deck/lake. They have a limited menu, the food was ok. The prices were a bit high for the quality in my opinion. I would return for another try, especially given the ambience. The service was average.

Firecracker shrimp Mon night. Shrimp & chips Tues night. Coconut shrimp Wed night. SHRIMP, ask me anything! View was great. Bartenders were great. Food was good. Fishing the pier was unsuccessful but that's probably not the Turtle's fault. I recommend the shrimp, probably. Oh. & key lime pie & apple crisp, too!

Amazing views and great ambiance! We go for the best Cajun Rub Wings around. The burgers were also delicious!

We had a great time at the Tarpon Turtle last night! The burger of the week (avacado) was wonderful, good beer selection, the staff was amazing Helping the kids find something on the menu they enjoyed. From the hostess to the view to our wonderful waitress Aysia we couldn’t have had a better time.

This place is awesome! Their food is excellent, huge portions and priced fairly. It's worth the trip!

The house wines are awful. The blackened grouper sandwich is huge and delicious. The grouper nugget bowl is a little bland, no sauce or anything which makes for dry grouper nuggets, but not bad. I don't recommend this restaurant.

I sat outside had a wonderful table at sunset. Michael the general manager and executive chef introduced himself. We got to talk Buccaneers football, Tom Brady and the expectations for the upcoming NFL season. What a nice atmosphere and friendly people. If you remember that Tarpon Turtle of old you know that it was meant to be a place for spectacular burgers and great Seafood. These guys get fresh seafood in 6 days a week. Ask them to talk about crab cakes and get a lesson on what crab cakes should be! Get in here quick because it's going to get famous quick. I eat at great places all over the country and this is made my list of keepers.

What happened Tarpon turtle?!?! Used to have big awesome tasty crispy wings. Now it's like small greasy limp nuggets on a bone. You have to use the deep fryer not the microwave to cook them. Got the Grouper Rubin, $18 for a sandwich? Super bland soggy cold food. Come on guys! Place looks awesome. Great job on the atmosphere but food was over priced and awful .... Don't mean to be so blunt but, No one is more upset about this review than me. Hard to see one of my favorite restaurants doing so poorly.
