I always seem to be able to get in on the same day I make my appointment, and the office visits are very convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. I went in for a cold and got the antibiotics I needed prescribed and recommendations for the best over the counter medications to buy and take.

NEVER go here! I sent my daughter who has been sick for MONTHS. We just moved here and was referred to this place. Not only did "Nicky" degrade her for being an overly sensitive "millennial" but also went out into the hallway and tell her coworkers about the "millennial" in room 6. My daughter was to stay in the room until she came back with anxiety medication. She wasn't even being seen for anxiety. nothing to do with anxiety. Then "Nicky" never came back, realized she was still in the room and announces "OMG is that ridiculous Millennial still in there"

am posting on behalf of my parents. My father is a type one diabetic. He called the office this morning and stated a concern with his foot being swollen to triple its normal size after having multiple procedures completed by the physicians of this practice. It took 3 phone calls for him to get an appointment; therefore, he spoke to three people and INSISTED on seeing a doctor today. They said the doctor wasn’t available after taking his information, so he had to call back. He had to explain the same information to three administrative assistants. During the appointment, doctor said the people who answer the phone only have a high school degree. It leaves my family wondering why they are gatekeeping the needs of his patients. They gave him a 4:45 appointment. Then the doctor couldn’t complete the ultrasound due to the time of the appointment. He left my parents in fear that my father could spontaneously throw a blood clot and the ultra sound was advised tonight. Due to this, he had to go to the ER and pay $600 in addition to the copay for the doctor (who was rude and unhelpful). The lack of effort from the physician has left my family with financial hardship for a test that could have been completed in his office. My parents recommend finding another practice for your health and the wellbeing of your family.

My fathers primary care doctor is here, though he saw residents more often than he would see said doctor. Over the course of a year, my father lost over 100 pounds without trying. When my mother pointed out that this was not the result of diet, the doctor scoffed in her face and said it wasn’t, like it was obvious even though he was doing nothing to treat it. My father was unable to eat more than a bite, and had constant debilitating abdominal pain along with chronic pancreatitis. Doctors at this location told him to “drink more water” or that it was GERD, blatantly ignoring his symptoms. His primary knew he was on the medicine Trulicity, which has been linked to pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer, yet never suggested my father see a GI or stop taking the medicine. Once our family brought him to a hospital and his pancreatic mass was found, the doctors admitted that he may have “a spot” of cancer, after their nurses callously pointed out that he “looked like a whole different man.” These doctors exhibit incredibly low care for their patients, more willing to write them a prescription than spend even 5 minutes physically examining a patient.

I was in the office on Friday and I am very upset that I overheard the hard working staff doesn’t get paid for any holidays. I really have never come across a medical company that doesn’t pay their staff for holidays when they are closed. This saddens me and makes me mad. I know how busy the place is at most locations and know how hard the staff works Are the owners that cheap that they can’t pay their staff holiday. And if they want to get paid it comes out of their PTO... their personal time .. that is completely messed up. And I’m sure they get nothing to be recognized.. like holiday party .. bonus . Sad very sad COME ON GULF COAST HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF TAKING CARE OF YOUR STAFF AND YOU MAY NOT HAVE SUCH A HUGE TURN ATOUND RATE. I see new faces every single time I’m in there The Strobbe owners this is so upsetting I have about 50 family members that go to your offices I may have all of us switch to Florida medical

Very bad - staff screwed up forwarding my prescription to pharmacy and 2 days later I’m still waiting. When I called to try to resolve, staff HUNG UP ON ME! Very rude, poorly prepared for public service and immature staff. Only wish I could give no stars. Docs better realize that staff IS the face of the practice.

They are awful. Dropped me on the phone because I questioned a $20 bill I got in the mail, young girl said, Well we're not taking your insurance anymore anyway. I've never been so disrespected from a Drs office. Trinity office. Was a pt. there for 3 years. The $20 co pay is because the dr. read results of a test he had me do as told to me from billing office, they should be reported to insurance companies and medical board. It's a shame, I need a cardiologist and he was wonderful and will probably not know why I cant continue seeing him. Worst thing is when you need a refill or call for test results, they tell you, you have to come in. Another co pay and insurance company billed. Not surprised at all these negative reviews, only surprised the office doesnt improve.

I've been treating here for 20 years and I do have a preference for Dr Strobbe and Christne Fisher. I lived out of state for 2 of those years and really missed the service and convince of their office. I have never had any issues with the office, I do believe they are busy but I assume that's due to the returning patients, such as myself. I feel there is a real personal touch here.

I love the staff and the care i do get when i get it. I am there now. My appointment was at 10:00am. It is now 11:25 and still sitting in a room. This is normal. Not sure why they think its ok to make a patient wait this long with no explanation.

Had MRI of cspine to take to my specialist in michigan, paid for disk and flew to Michigan for appointment, my neurologist up there took a look at it handed it back to me and said it was one of the worst films he had seen in a long time they were unable to make anything out on it so wasted trip because of it being incoherent now back in florida heading to another imaging source that can do it right! This should have never happened and I'm out aprox 600 for useless trip because imaging fail needless to say I'm very very upset with this place, If it wasn't for my normal dr. Here which is great I'd never step foot in gulfcoast again. I know I will never get imaging done here again.

I have been coming here for literally 2 decades but they just lost my business for good today due to rude staff answering the phones. The doctor and nurses are always nice in person but theres no excuse for the treatment i got over the phone. I can give my hard earned $ to someone else the next time I'm sick, no problem.

This place is a joke. Run away, trust me. We showed up for appointment that was scheduled 4 months prior to find out he was on vacation - no one called or told us even after we paid and checked in. Came to the rescheduled appointment, they didn’t have it. No apologies, nothing. Desk people are rude & dismissive - won’t be back.

This place and Dr Barney Moye has only one concern, not about your health but making money. I am a over the road truck driver that requires yearly physicals. They insist on doing labs. I have had labs done 5 times over the last year but they went to do it again. No labs, No high blood pressure meds. It's all about the money here. They will also tell your your insurance covers it, then call you later and tell your the insurance didn't cover it so you owe. Read the reviews and stay away. Find a good doctor, there are plenty

Doesn't even deserve a 1 star! After waiting an additional THREE WEEKS to get in to see Bharatkumar Patel, I received a call today, the day before my appointment, that he isn't accepting new patients. You would think this would be common knowledge by anyone working in the office and I wouldn't have been given an appointment to begin with. Now I have to find another doctor and start the waiting process all over again. Glad to see treating someone in excruciating pain is a priority of theirs.

Soooooooo slow for a walk-in. My fiance broke his wrist trying to save someone's life and they took over an hr for a doctor to see him then another hour and some change to do the x-rays and then another hour or more to discharge him. The doctor didn't ask someone to get him an ice pack til several hours in and it took another 20 mins or so to get it. They wanted everything paid in full upon treatment and refused to bill him or even try to bill him and the medical director was very rude about it. Sent x-rays to a specialist and kept us waiting another hour or so. Arrived around 9:30am and didn't leave until after noon. Will never come here again. The E.R. would have been a much better bet all around. Wish there had been some reviews to help me steer clear. I have never been to such an incompetent medical practice in my life.

Receptionist super nasty - went to urgent care on a Saturday morning - the receptionist gave me a hard time because I hadn’t been in since May and According to her my “insurance couldn’t be verified”. I explained I have 2 insurances and they indeed we’re both valid- just because it was Saturday does that make my insurance invalid? She was super rude and insisted on my copayment and made sure in a very rude voice that I would be responsible for the rest if I couldn’t prove my other insurance. I was so sick and being there before Christmas was not my idea of vacation. I took a seat - not more than 5 minutes later she called me back up - sweet as pie I magically had a “credit” of my co-payment. Florida is a racquet for health care. Good luck if you have a real health insurance or out of state health insurance. I would be better off not working on the state insurance! I feel Nickel and dimed by gmc every time I go but I feel it’s the only office in the area.

Wife scheduled appointment, but when I get there they tell me they can't see me because they don't take my insurance. As I leave, I call my wife to see what happened; she says she told the office staff what insurance we have. I go back inside to see what the story is, and the office staff tell me that yes, the primary care Dr. does take our insurance, but the specialist, the one I had an appointment with, does not. So... why couldn't someone tell us that before I drove here? Like, when we actually tried to make the appointment?

Over book Doctors and leave You waiting 1 HOUR past your appointment time before being seen. I was 20 minutes early and I ended up there nearly an hour and a half before I saw the doctor. Not to mention the Young girl in the front, unprofessional is not the word!! She literal sat there having a conversation about Starbucks over the phone instead getting people checked out. DON'T GO THERE!! *AWFUL*

They only get 1 star because I can't put NONE! This place is horrible for refilling prescriptions! They always ask and I tell them "yes, I need prescriptions refilled" and they never do OR refill the wrong one.... EVERYTIME I need more it's always a hassle. I'm a type 1 Diabetic and can't be without insulin. I always have to call have someone send in a refill (which they usually only give me 1) and then take they're time putting it in(sometimes 3-4 days and numerous calls) to finally get it done. Now here I am again going on day 2 of trying and now out of insulin to take for my meals. On top of all this it is a holiday weekend and was told "there's nothing we can do for you" and then hung up on, because they were about to close. A street pharmacist would probably be a better choice than here!

I read all of the reviews and see some grumpy self entitled people with negative reviews . Why are people so darn negative, and by the post so impatient . Every medical office you go to today has waiting times. They need to grow up and stop whining like babies, I use this office and their Receptionist at the front desk could not be more pleasant and helpful each time I go there . . I use Dr Amy Strobbe as my GP and I like the treatment she provides and very attentive to my needs. Also I switch Cardiologist recently to Dr Forcello in this office . Man was he great he listened to everything I said and my concerns without burying his head into the computer while I was talking like my other Cardiologist had done during visits and missed things. So with that I have to give them 5 Stars

Dr. Michael Strobbe is fantastic. However the waiting is always unnecessary when they could simply give one an hour or two appt later. My father was made to wait 3 hours on a wheelchair for an appointment and finally had to walk away disappointed. It is not drs doing but organizational malfunction...

Worst care I have every received. I have been in the medical field for 27 years and never had an experience like I did at this place. Receptionist very rude and uncaring. Called in for a prescription refill and a week later received it. A medicine they know I had to take twice a day. This happened 3 times. Wouldn’t even let me go back to the examining room with my husband knowing he needed help with the paper work and that I had an appointment right after him. Definitely not going there again. Lost two clients today.

Dr Capone and the rest of the doctors are great and the staff try their hardest to accomodate the patients under difficult and arrrogant management tactics by the oppressive Melissa. There will constantly be a huge turnover of employees as hardly anyone can stand her antics for more than a few months unless you are one of her "favourites".

Every time you make an appointment with Dr. S. you don't see him you just see continuously changing interns. and when you finally get to talk to the doctor on a telemedicine appointment he cuts you off, barks orders and hangs up. Very rude, I have lab orders they will not fax to the lab. I have made multiple calls and requests for the lab orders to be sent out. and 3 weeks later no orders have made it to the lab. very frustrating and disheartening having to deal with all that.

I went in for my first visit as an emergency because my usual dr couldnt fit me in paid 127 then was sent out for a ultrasound nd told to come bsck for a followup after and go from there which I paid for then on my followup visit I paid 75$ to go into a room for 15 minutes to be told the Dr doesn't know whats wrong and to follow up with either a gyno or my primary and that was it. This place only cares about money not it's patients.

Waited till 10:30 to see if anyone shows, but no one shows. If this location is no longer open on a Sunday than update the information or post a notice on the website.

I haven't had any problems with any of the staff. I did once in the past and spoke with the office manager. Since that one time, I have not had any problems. If you have an appointment you are normally seen pretty close to your appt. time. However walk-ins are put in between patients if they are very ill or perhaps a child that's sick. Some places don't even take walk-ins. You could call ahead and ask if appts. are on time. I try and bring something to occupy my time. I would recommend Gulf Coast Medical Center to family and friends. The atmosphere is nice in the building I go to. I go to the one across from Gulfview Square Mall. The doctor's are great, I also see Jeff who is Doctor Capone's PA. They are concerned with all aspects of your heath. They also have imaging, a lab, specialist on-site. Which makes it easier to get in to see a specialist as a new patient.

I was in and out of the hospital for two months. No one could figure out why I had terrible abdominal pain. I saw a number of doctors and specialists. No one could figure out my issue and I was about to have exploratory surgery. On a Saturday, I made an appointment to get another medical professional’s perspective. I wasn’t sure if it would be worth my time since it was with a nurse practitioner. Well it was definitely worth my time! Bradley Ruch listened to what I said and conducted some different tests. Within a week, he called me with the problem and provided me with the guidance I needed to resolve the issue. All my issues were gone within a week. I am beyond thankful for this nurse practitioner. This has changed my view of nurse practitioners. I also highly recommend Bradley Ruch for your medical needs!

Wait times are expected, but over 3 hours with no explanation is more than ridiculous. Don’t expect quick service at this location. Not the first time wait times have far exceeded expectations. Appointment time was at 1pm for my husband. It is now 4:21pm and we still are not done. He wasn’t even taken back to the room to see the dr until 3:41pm. We have lives and this is more than inconvenient.

I really like the Doctors here. Update 10-3-19. Diagnostic facility got Auth but no script, so I am getting it and driving it there. So I am not sure what happen in Docs Auth department but it's all done. Update 10-2-19. Diagnostic facility still has yet to receive the fax for my authorization so calling the office again today hoping to get this straightened out Some times the ball is dropped but Office Manager got everything fixed. Update 10-1-19 still no call back .... calling asking to talk speak with office manager. Luis should call back in 5-10 minutes. Luis did call said it will be fixed today and he will call me back today to let me know its done. I just got off phone and BCBS now has the Auth. Update 9/30/19. Still no call back and script was done on 9-16 Calling office again. Update 9/27/19 called again Auth dept. Again should call me back... script was made 9/16 ### Very sad to ever put a poor review but after so many phone calls about my Authorization to get a procedure done, and Even called asking for a call back from Auth Dept twice no call back. Last wed(18th) was the request and now friday (27th) still no answer about my auth. Doctor visits are great but I need my Auth!!!!!! I hope this gets fixed so I do not have to find a new doctor.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WORKERS COMP!!!! We made it VERY clear that this was a workplace accident and not once did they tell us they would not work with workers comp insurance at all. They were going to bill us A LOT for the doctor to shrug his shoulders and tell us to come back later. Probably to charge us top dollar AGAIN for doing nothing. They brought the bill down to "Cash price" so at least the bill wont be $200 for nothing, but it's still going to be $50 for nothing that the workers comp insurance WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR. Take your accident somewhere else where they'll actually help you out and not screw you over for weeks and drag out your case

I’m currently traveling on vacation and realized I was almost out of my heart medication. I’m staying at a motel that is a 10 minute walk from this place. I just read a lot of the reviews and I’m NOT going there. Convenient or not I’m not going. It sounds like an absolute nightmare and I’m curious why the county allows this practice to continue. These reviews have some serious complaints and nothing seems to change.

I've always had a good experience here. But to be a walk in you have to be an established patient as in them be your primary at least that what it seems. The times I have walked it I call just ahead of time.

Doctors were super nice and more then helpful!! Didn't have to wait a long time to be seen! And the office was clean and organized. ♥️

Front desk is the worst I ever encountered. Negative muttering under their breath. Rude and ignoring you. I loved my dr but left practice due to the front desk.

I was a new patient here and whoever the receptionist is when you click 1 to “make an appointment with a provider” clearly didn’t understand her job. I’m trying to make an appointment with my provider but she said “ok then you’d need to contact your provider to make an appointment” THATS WHAT IM TRYING TO DO. Rude attitude the whole time i was trying to explain and even hung up on me when i gave her my name. I immediately changed my location and provider. Not even gonna waste my time with this place.

Both my mother and my husband are patients of the GCMC. They both like their doctors and have had no complaints. The problem is when they need a prescription refill for an antibiotic, they say it is called in but it hasn't been. Twice my elderly mother needed a script for an antibiotic for a UTI. It was never called in. By the time they called it in she had to go to be admitted to the hospital. Yesterday my husband called his wound care doctor stating that the antibiotics he had given him are not helping his wound and would like to be seen. The doctor said they would call in a different antibiotic. That was Friday. We called twice Friday to verify it would be called in. Today is Saturday and they did not call it in. Of course the office that is open said they cannot call it in even though they see that it was supposed to have been called in. I asked for them to call in just two days of an antibiotic for his leg to keep from getting a bone infection. The receptionists reply is to call back on Monday!

I have gone on more than 6 occasions for an MRI and they always deny me because the Dr does not give enough information to authorize it, that is, the business is that I go to charge the consultation again and again
