Expect to wait 30 minutes to an hour to be seen after your scheduled appointment. They need to do a better job of scheduling.

First time going there…45 mins after my scheduled appointment and I walked out. So unless your retired or your willing to wait way past your scheduled appointment….I don’t recommend going here! I’m not one to ever write reviews but I was so upset I had to, especially since I waited over a month to get in.

We can't speak highly enough about the outstanding service at our St Luke's Eye in Spring Hill. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Alex (the doctor's aid) was fantastic (and hilarious!!). Dr Arcaro was very thorough and so kind in taking her time to address all our concerns. My husband has been to a variety of doctors trying to figure out what was going on with his vision and this is the first time it was solved...and with amazing customer service. When you want the BEST make an appointment here and you won't be disappointed.

Sitting here 30 minutes past my appointment time with no idea when I can be expected to be seen…. Was told it’s “normal” to be running this far behind. Yet, if we are late they cancel your appointment and charge for it! I was here 15 minutes early just as they requested me to be, but apparently professionalism is only expected to be extended to the office & staff but not their patients! Very unprofessional. Oh, even better, I’m finally called back there & they said they couldn’t do the test I scheduled the appointment for I have to schedule another one! I have been getting the specific test I came here for for over 10 years… never have I had to make & pay for 2 visits for this simple test! Rediculous!

Beware the double billing of a copay! They schedule two visits, one for a quick eye test and then regular the exam/visit. It can all be done on the same day, but its not, so therefore, wham, the double copay visit. I loved Dr Arcano but this is unnecessary and my Insurance company agreed. I will be going elsewhere. Beautiful fancy building now, nice staff everywhere, but a disappointing practice. 3 stars is more than fair

Appt was over two hours total. I have 2 insurances that cover 100% of my claims. Filled out my paperwork and they wanted to collect $40 up front. I told them I have never has to pay before and they said they do a test that insurances don't pay for the test. I advised them NOT to do the test! I was asked again before leaving advised them bill insurance. This week received a bill $40. I will not be returning to St. Luke's ever again. I wouldn't recommend them!

What a great experience! Had cataract surgery on both eyes. From the initial visit, through surgery and post op visits, every member of the staff was courteous and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Gills and Dr. Causey for their expertise and professionalism.

I have mixed feelings about my first time visit here. The doctor & his assistant were very nice and gentle. I don’t like to complain however the waiting room was so uncomfortably freezing cold that I almost had to leave. I instead walked around to keep moving. Also the eye examination equipment you have to put your face against smelled so bad I was gagging. I said something but was ignored. I will never return here because of this. It is unacceptable to have exam equipment that smells like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.

My family had already had a great experience with Dr gills and his family and the people at St Luke's are amazing! I'll never be able to thank him enough for what he's done for me. This was truly an amazing experience, the procedure when incredibly well and I was a high-risk person. they were kind enough to do the fabulous procedure anyway. Thank you Dr Pit Gills. You can trust these people with your vision!

My daughter and I have been patients for years. We love the Doctors and staff! We are thrilled Dr.Causey Senior is back! He diagnosed my daughter with her Retinitis Pigmentosa at age 15 after seeing MANY ophthalmologists and specialists, who thought it was 'lazy eye'. We highly recommend St. Luke's. ***THAT being said, St. Lukes PLEASE take those check in Ipads and toss them in the garbage!! They are very impersonal, and for people with vision loss like my daughter they are very frustrating to use. At 32 yrs old she would have been embarrassed having to ask for help if I wasn't there. And I'm sure even worse for elderly patients who aren't tech savvy. Other than those, we love you all!

Highly recommend Dr. Danielle Arcaro and her staff at St.Lukes. Dr. Arcaro is not only highly qualified but took the time needed today to make sure I understood the process of an upcoming laser treatment. I have complete confidence in her.

We have been going to St Lukes for years. Really happy with the doctors but billing is another issue. Even though we have secondary insurance, they make us pay the copay and wait for the bill to process through our primary and secondary carriers before St Lukes will send us a check to reimburse our payment. Very time consuming and simply an annoyance. Going to find a more helpful Optometrist.

My wife had surgery, and this is the most comfortable waiting room, nicest staff, and accommodating doctors and nurses of almost any place we have been. Dr. Phillpotts is great and made Jenny feel at ease.

They have a new computer system which the employees apparently don’t know how to assist the clients to use for pre appointment paperwork. So we got several messages on the phone and by email with new client paperwork to be filled out prior to the appointment. My hubby finally figured it out himself as a call to the facility was not helpful to assist him to fill the paperwork out prior to the visit as they instructed. They have only 3 handicap spaces in the parking lot. So we could not pull the handicap van into one of the spaces as they were all occupied. The handicap spaces are present and located in the parking lot. They are not very conveniently located to the door as they are around the corner from the door. Once you get into the parking lot and pass the handicap spots, there are signs in the parking lot to direct you to the entrance. They direct you around the whole building rather than the shortest route to the entrance. We parked on the back side and ended up walking around the whole building trying to find the entrance which was at the opposite end of the area we parked. That was because one of the signs with an arrow directed us to go that way to the entrance. This is a problem because elderly clients, of which this establishment has many, do not have the stamina to go on a “scavenger hunt” to find the entrance. Getting into the building is not very convenient, additionally not having enough van access handicap spots to park in presents a big challenge for the handicapped person. Once inside, (we arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment per instructions of the facility) they were way behind, and the waiting room was packed. We waited 57 minutes before we were contacted to go in for the appointment.

I can't say enough about Dr. Ronald Howard and his team. From start to finish I had a great experience. I had Lasik procedure on both eyes and now have 20/15 vision. Forever grateful, I'm a patient for life. Painless experience, everyone, including Dr. Howard answered all my questions and calmed my fears. I recommend him and Lasik to anyone eligible.

Had an appointment today and everyone was so pleasant. This is the only place I will ever go to. Their reputation is the best and I have been going there for years for facials, but today I was there for an eye appointment and received, as usual outstanding service.
