I took this photo at sunset. Can you see the question mark as the sun sets in the photo? I saw it as God provoking us to think about His primary question of all human beings. The answer to me is clearly Jesus. I only realized this a short eleven years ago. If I had seen this question mark prior to then I would have answered the question with something like "personal happiness". While there's nothing wrong with that, caring for the personal well being of others, in this physical life and beyond, takes a much higher role in my life thanks to Jesus. Jesus in my life fills an emptiness in my soul that nothing else could ever fill. Not money or things or other human relationships. Nothing. I'm grateful that God put that question to me that evening and allowed me to capture it. I hope that I wasn't the only one to see it that day and others are contemplating the answer to His question. If you see the question mark in the picture, what do you think the question is and what's your answer to it?

The pier is a popular fishing spot. The appeal for me though is just to sit at a shaded picnic table and enjoy the breeze and the view. We've spotted manatees in the water here.

This spot is beautiful for watching the sunset or enjoying a day out on the boat. I would give it 5 stars except one thing. The only negative is the outrageous parking price. $10! Really!? Other better places locations in nearby counties charge $5 or free. What's up with that?

New pier 2020, refurbished park 2020, fishing sucks, fast current, swamp grass and shallow, all fisherman use boats and canoeing to access HOT spots.

Small pier, but all you need to get a fishing line out into the middle of the Weeki Wachee River, where it meets the Gulf of Mexico. Boat ramps too. Not good for large boats at low tide. Saw multiple get stuck

Nice little fishing spot straight down from Weeki Wachee. There's a little pier that seems like it's pretty active. Seems to be a great fishing spot. That's why the birds are out around the pier. Waiting for scraps or bait. That particular bird was trying to steal the bait off the hooks. There's a nice boat ramp on the left-hand side as you approach the pier area with quite a few slips going out into the threw the marshes into the intercoastal waters

A great place to watch the sunset over the gulf. Gets busier near sunset time but there are plenty of good views. Watch many people fishing from the pier so I’m guessing it might be good fishing there. Area was clean and not overly buggy. There are a few benches but you might want to bring you own chair or blanket to sit on. Not a sandy area but more grassy with a sidewalk and pier.

Good spot to see the sunset. However, there is limited parking. There is no beach here, so you can either watch from your car or try to find an empty bench on the pier.

Bayport pier is our favorite place to drop our jet skis. Every time we go we wind up locating and playing in pods of dolphins. They swim around us and follow us and even sometimes they will race in between our wakes, jumping out of the water at 25 mph. These guys are amazing and to see them in their natural environments like this is unlike any interaction with wildlife you can experience. The boat ramp area can be a bit congested at certain times of the year and there is a $10 fee for parking but it’s quite convenient as parking is very close to the ramps and docks and there are multiple restrooms where you can change and use the facilities. There is also a kayak launch area if that’s what you choose to do. We make it a habit to stop at Bayport inn on the way out and enjoy a good seafood dinner.

Nice sized pier to go fishing my son caught a puffer fish first 5 minutes there, they have a cool looking Indian mermaid statue there too. The only thing that I didn’t like was the $10 they charge you for parking when there’s nothing there but a pier and a couple benches.

This is a small boat docking area and park at the end of SR50 West. A simply excellent view of the Gulf of Mexico. I love to just sit and take in the peace and quiet. Go Visit!

It's a nice pier but it's just that a pier. It's $10 to park no matter how long your there. I wouldn't mind paying maybe $5 but $10 is alot. Not even Pine Island is that much.

I have been coming here since a child. Maddie and I went this brisk morning to take in the sights. I hadn't been out this way in many years. The park is very well-maintained. The bathrooms are clean and no trash. Nice benches to sit on and watch the sunrise. The seagrass and palm trees rippling off the water make it a great spot to sit quietly. If you like to fish their pier is very sturdy and well-maintained. If you have not visited it's a great spot for a sunset. Hernando County is doing a fine job.

A great little spot on the bay that has good fishing. Parking is small but If you get there early (before 11) you are probably ok. Saw good amount of wildlife: falcon, hawk, giant fish, sea turtle

A quiet place to clear your mind or to just spend hours looking at the most beautiful shades of blue and green. Maybe even catch dinner. It's lovely here.

I've lived here for 30 years and this used to be one of my favorite places to relax. Now you have to pay to park?? You can keep it. I won't be back.

Very nice, excellent place to spend some time with the family and breathe fresh air, the only bad thing is that there are very few parking spaces.
