Sadly, Dr Lorri is no longer at this practice. This review is overdue! I have received facial acupuncture from Lorri for the last 5 weeks. She is amazing! I’ve had this done in the past in another state a couple years ago. I was in need of treatment again, but it is more expensive here in Fl. Lorri is worth every dime. She is a king, gentle and explains what she is going to do and why. She has also helped me with my knee. She is extremely knowledgeable on Chinese medicine. I am now a regular patient!

Kecia is excellent at the "art" of acupuncture, i.e., communicating with my body. She readily identifies and relates to its sources of discomfort and then administers the healing touches to grant the recovery it is crying out for. I started out seeing this amazing "body whisperer" just for intervention. Now, I go to prevent discomfort, too.

Being a former massage therapist myself, I have tried many different places and modalities for my self-care, and they are absolutely outstanding!

I highly recommend Dr. Walters to anyone experiencing pain. Since February, after my bunion surgery, I have had an unresolved pain issue on the pad of my let foot. I could not put weight on the ball of my foot without pain. I have tried steroid shots, orthotics, meds, and PT but nothing worked. I am fit 59 year old female and a 4 time cancer survivor. In the past I have used a combination Western and Eastern medicine to treat the pain of cancer related issues. I thought I would give acupuncture a try as it helped me tremendously in the past. I went to Dr. Walters yesterday and she did a variety of treatments on my body. God's honest truth I walked across the floor for the first time since February 15, 2022 with ZERO pain in my foot. I was in tears. I thought I was going to have to have yet another surgery, but even today after my morning walk it feels GREAT. I am heading back next Friday for another appointment. This morning my husband said "you have the spring back in your step".

I usually see Emily for treatment. I made a mistake on the date and Emily was booked. She suggested i work with Honu. It was an accident which turned into a blessing. Honu is a wonderful intuitive practitioner with a varied skill set of massage, cupping, acupuncture and much more. i left feeling more grounded and with no pain! I will definitely see her again.

Emily has been extremely helpful in my recovery from multiple injuries. After the initial consultation she develops a treatment plan, taking detailed notes every on what brought you in. She actually follows-up with you using these notes on every visit, which prevents you from having to treat yourself (blew my mind). While working on you she is very communicative and creates a safe space at a time when one my feel very vulnerable. I would recommend Emily to anyone that is curious about the benefits acupuncture, Gua Sha, or cupping.

I was very nervous before going into the initial acupuncture appointment. I was unsure what to expect but was referred from my Shady Grove Fertility Facebook page. It was easy to make this appointment online and Hannah had appointments available in the timeframe that I needed. I made the appointment and once I arrive to their office and walked in I was welcomed with a smile and she knew my name right away. She let me know where the bathroom was if I needed it and told me where my room would be. Hannah came in with a smile on her face and I immediately felt at ease. I made this appointment due to the fact that I am currently going through IVF treatments and I am looking to do another transfer soon. She went over my health history, my concerns, lab work that I previously had done, my previous miscarriages (when she asked about this she asked if it was ok to talk about considering my feelings first). We also discussed other areas of concern, went through different body systems and diet and exercise. I never felt judged, I did not feel like I was pushed to do one thing or another and I felt open to talk about anything with her. After the acupuncture session she told me that she emailed me a list of supplements that she recommends but did not push me to get them at all. I very much enjoyed this session and felt at ease as I left. She put an action plan into place for my journey and once I got home I saw that she emailed me much more than supplement recommendations and I am currently going through all of that. Would highly recommend Hannah!

I had been to this practice before but not this doctor. She started on time. She was thorough. The acupuncture itself lasted an adequate time. She also gave me chinese medicine, which I thought appropriate. While this is the first visit, I have made four more and highly recommend.

I highly recommend a visit with Dr. Lorri if you have any health concerns. We took our 12 year old son to see her for overall fatigue, nasal sinus issues, and a cough that just wouldn’t go away. Mary Ann at the front desk couldn’t have been LESS helpful or friendly. Instead of providing me service, she told me I was barred from seeing the provider I booked with, whom I had only discovered from several recommendations from family. Meanwhile, I’m bedridden needing immediate pain management and this person was nothing but rude and condescending, at one point laughing when I expressed what issue I was having. I don’t EVER leave reviews but this interaction was absurd. The furthest thing from helpful or empathetic to my pain. Address who is representing you on the phone and at your front desk….I will never be back.

You will soon be getting an incredible addition to your team in Hannah Winner. I am so sad to lose her in Colorado but highly recommend her skills and services. She is actual magic!!

Dr Honu is sooo good! Feeling so relaxed and chill. I’ve had acupuncture many times in my life. This is the most relaxed I’ve ever felt from it. She is insightful, thoughtful, and amazing at her craft. If you are looking for stress relief, self care, or better health book a session right away!

Dr. Honu Walters was incredible. I’ve been experiencing lots of aches and pains over the last couple of years along with weight lifting for many years, I injured myself and tried physical therapy and various creams and ointments without results. I heard about acupuncture but never tried it. Dr. Walters explained how it could help me. Immediately after my first visit I started feeling much better. I continued my treatment and feel 20 years younger. She is the first person I turn to when any muscle pain or sickness occurs. I love Art of Acupuncture. I have seen Dr. Kyle multiple times, and would highly recommend him to others. He is always a calming presence, and he truly takes the time to listen to me rather than talk at me. I can tell he really wants to fully understand what is troubling me, rather than quickly diagnosing so he can get to his next appointment. I'm not sure why I continue to try traditional western medicine first, but when that fails to accurately diagnose what is wrong, Dr. Kyle is who I'll go to get an answer that doesn't involve a pill to mask the problem.

Zero balancing sessions from Kecia are the best! I always leave feeling grounded, clear headed and somehow taller 🤔 100% recommend when you are looking for a gentle reset from the layers of conditioning life puts on us. The name of the treatment makes sense only after you receive one.

I have been to many good acupuncturists but Honu by far has been the best. My back already feels better. She combined acupuncture with massage therapy and cupping. I highly recommend Art of Acupuncture with Honu!
