Wow, I have a hard time believing those bad reviews. This is the cleanest, friendliest, best prices pet store in Pinellas county. And the groomers are the best!!!

I went to Pet Safari to buy two rats as pets. The lady working there was extremely helpful over the phone and in person, had no trouble handling the animals and knew what she was talking about. I ended up buying a Rat Home, water bottle, bedding, food, and treats for my rats that I also bought. (They're two young dumbo rats). The rats are very sweet and there hasn't been any trouble with them whatsoever. All the things I bought are also doing great. The store was quite nice and the prices were the same if not better than pet chain stores. They had many animals and had just what I wanted. What I really love about Pet Safari is that they really do know what they're talking about and are very helpful as they have the animals' best interests at heart. Definitely will come again.

Pet Safari is a wonderful place to get pets... Pet food and toys.,harness and leashes and collars. Lots of cool stuff for your pets.

I have been going here for for many many years. I love this pet store - up until now. They have hired a new employee and she is bringing the store down, Customer service is not the job for Stephanie. Other than her I love this pet store and the groomers too!!

Visited the store yesterday for the first time and I will definitely be back!!!! The staff are terrific and super knowledgeable! I just set up a new fish tank for the first time and one of the staff (did not catch her name unfortunately) gave me some terrific information on setting up a successful tank. Terrific place for all your pet needs and great prices!!! :-D

Horrible experience. Made appt for 10am was told 4 hours because my dog was 3rd in line. Went to owner and he was jerk. Not sorry at all. Then pick up dog and pretty much just a bath for $62. Never again. Now the owner wants to lie about things. I wanted to take my dog but was told she was already in tub and wet. Then wanted me to take my wet dog. No cut on my dog at all. Then groomer puts my dog in carrier and brings out to me so I wouldn't see she did nothing. Last time she brought her and wanted me to look at everything to make sure I was happy. As far as scheduling, the last time I was told they overbooked and that wouldn't happen again. If you can't take constructive criticism and except your mistakes then get out of business. You should be apologizing not bashing a review. Bye Felicia.

Friendly staff! Nice fish selection Edit: it’s been 5 years since my first visit here. And honestly, I don’t know why I keep coming back. I love the selection of fish they have but I have gotten ick from them 6 out of the 10 times I have come here. Have lost many great fish and I am currently battling my tank with ick from them. I am super unhappy and I think I may finally accept the truth that I just need to go someplace else and spend a couple more bucks.

A place that actually quarantines their fish! You don’t see this much anymore in fish stores. They do the right things for their fish and not just for the money. Every fish I have bought from this place has been top notch!

Even though I moved 20 minutes away Pet Safari is the best & worth the drive ! Best supplies, groomers & when it comes to fish they know what to do if sick or issue with tanks ! Won't go anywhere else now !
