We enjoyed a pleasant cruise down Swan River, with tasty refreshments and friendly staff who made us feel welcomed by sharing historic stories of Swan River. We visited a winery too and then bused back to Perth. Overall a memorable experience!

Yesterday myself and a friend did the return cruise to Fremantle. It was very enjoyable and the boat is lovely. Only one suggestion for an improvement........ if you are downstairs it is because you are having lunch and you are upstairs if you are not. While there is a bar on the upper level there are no snacks available and one has to go downstairs to get them. It seems to me that it would be a better idea to have snacks at the bar on the upper level to avoid people having to use the stairs, especially as some of us are older. Other than that, a lovely (and well costed) little adventure in our beautiful Perth.

I’ve been on the Captain Cook cruise twice and loved it both times. The first time I went on from Perth- Fremantle return with lunch and the other day we just took the cruise from Fremantle to Perth and had lunch on there. The food was lovely- a buffet lunch with dessert. It was nice to go outside onto the bow to capture the views. We saw hundreds of jelly fish. I found it so interesting when the captain informed us of the house that is worth 57 million & it doesn’t seem like anyone even lives there! My favourite part was coming into Perth city.

Maybe we just had an average experience but I definitely wouldn’t rave about this cruise. Was purchased as a gift for my partner and I from his parents via Redballoon. On the instructions it advises to be there at 7pm which which we were. We lined up until 7:30pm and then eventually boarded the boat. Was told we were sitting upstairs so sat down at our assigned table. A bread roll and a piece of sushi each awaited us. We headed out from the jetty, took a couple of photos of the skyline with the sun setting which was nice. Waited at our table wondering what happens next. Do we go downstairs to the buffet and help ourselves? Do we go up to the bar and order or is there table service? Is the buffet even ready? We waited 30 mins longer thinking there was going to be an announcement over the speakers advising us to head down to the buffet or something. Nothing…. Eventually another table just went downstairs and came back up with food so all the other tables followed suit. When I got down, all the other tables downstairs had basically finished their food so we must have just been waiting upstairs for nothing. Was half way through our food when I said to my partner to go up and order a drink as obviously it must not be table service. He went to the bar as was advised that someone would come round and take our drink orders. At this rate we had basically finished our meal before someone came round and asked what we wanted to drink. Maybe they were short staffed? Food was fine but I wouldn’t rave about it. Overall a very underwhelming experience. Maybe it would have been better during the day so you can see the sights but at night time you’re literally just cruising round the river in the dark.

Booked and paid online, tickets arrived in my inbox pretty quickly. On the day, easy to get to the Pier via public transport system, on arrival, it was relaxed waiting for the boarding time which was well organised. I had booked the lunch cruise, the catering was outstanding and the crew very friendly and helpful. Definitely singing I would do again. Only improvement needed was the PA system, wasn't very clear although it was competing with the engine sounds.

Swan River Gourmet Wine cruise is a great way to spend the day. Fine wines, fine food, great and attentive staff and overall a wonderful experience. Made me feel real proud to be a Western Australian when I heard so many overseas and interstate guests talking about how good it was.

The cruise took 1 hour 15 minutes to reach fremantle port. It was a great cruise and the view was excellent. Price comes with complimentary coffee or tea.

Our dinner cruise down the Swan River was fantastic. The staff were very attentive without being intrusive, the food was great and the entertainment was brilliant. Allocated tables saves people barging passed others to get the seats they want. My Mum upgraded to the premium package, which was not expensive, and enjoyed some WA rose. Highly recommend.

Went on the Swan Valley Gourmet River Cruise for a hens day. We had 12 ladies spread out over two tables and had a great day! The wine tastings didn't start until later in the cruise and I think some of our party were a little disappointed with this, however there was plenty of wine to go around. The tasting platers were decent with a couple of different cheeses, preserved fruits and biscuits. May need to be a bit more generous with the biscuits as they went quickly and there wasn't enough to match the amount of cheese. The wine tasting at Sandleford was great and the food was delicious. There were too many tables and it was slow waiting for each table to serve their food before the next one was allowed to go up. It might be better the create two serving spaces for food so it doesn't take so long. We were one of the last tables and then we didn't have enough time to enjoy the food before we were shuffled off into the courtyard for more wine tasting. Overall, it was a great day, entertainment on the way home was amazing and we had a great time!

this trip down the Swan River is a great way to show International visitors our lovely State. From a great view of the city, the amazing millionaire's houses, the many yacht clubs where our residents make use of our water ways to the busy harbour of container ships and working cranes.

From the moment my partner and I boarded the vessel, until the moment we alighted, we were consistently delighted with the friendliness and the willingness to please from all of the staff, as well as their astute attention to safety, and their general happy disposition. I am no food critic, but having worked in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, and mainly at events, I've had substantial opportunities to taste many different cuisines, and I must say, the food was hot, tasty and there was an abundance for all. The variety was somewhat thin, nonetheless it was delicious. We purchased the premium beverage package and we were happy with our choice. Overall it was a very enjoyable experience, and "yes" I would purchase it again.

We have booked this cruise to welcome our guests from Sydney. We were all quite excited and looked forward to have a relaxing cruise with nice food. All was fine till the so called "entertainment" started. The music was so loud that we hardly could communicate with our guests without screaming to each other. After a while we just left our table and moved to the back of the boat to be able to have at least some civilized conversation. This cruise should be advertised as "disco with a dinner", so passengers will know what to expect.

We thoroughly enjoyed a well run program with great commentary, smooth transitions and excellent customer service. The Sandford Winery with its tasting, tour and lunch was sensational. Singing by Lauren and Audrey capped off a relaxing day that represents great value for money. Highly recommend this tour to see Perth from the river and experience a beautiful winery. Thank you from Sue and Co

Had such a lovely day today on the Swan River cruise. A birthday treat from my eldest son. Ella at the front desk welcomed us with the warmest smile then the beautiful Jess onboard looked after me and made my day complete with this lovely treat. Captain cook cruises, this was a memory day for me. Just loved it. It’s now a ‘go to’ for future celebrations. Thank you. Lynne

We did the Swan Valley wine cruise and were very impressed with the whole experience. Leaving Elizabeth Quay in the morning we had a wine tasting on the slow cruise up to Swan Valley. The lunch at Sandalford was excellent as was the entertainment on the way back. Who knew Lauren had such a great voice. Bravo! Highly recommended.
