By far the worst experience at an applebees ever. I couldn't decide what was worse the server or the food. Thank goodness the long Island was made right . Maybe just stay away from that place on Tuesday nights. The only time I'd ever recommend McDonald's over a restaurant. Only time I've ever tipped $5..... and to be honest I was hoping it would go to the bartender because even asking for a straw was a inconvenience for this server. $70 for the worst meal I've had in my life . Truthfully a disgrace

The food is sub-standard. Flavorless and overpriced. Last week order curbside service .Waited over 5 minutes before waitress stopped by my car. Waited longer for my curbside order. In the past, ordered cheeseburgers and specified well-done, no pink. Two previous orders the burger was pink and not thoroughly cooked. I've found hairs in my food either dining in or curbside service. Disgusting and unappetizing! Last week's order found another hair. I noticed the hair after my first bite. So I pulled the sandwich apart and the hair was cooked into the meat. Threw it out. I won't ever be returning.

There was no sense of urgency towards customers from wait staff. Asked multiple times for napkins to finally getting our own after appetizers were served. Empty glasses sat at end of table as multiple staff walked by looking at them with Empty hands. Bill started adding extra things to out tab automatically... food was good..

Last three times got attitude from the servers and was treated as an inconvenience for no reason. I’m a friendly personable guy, I rarely write negative reviews. But to be treated this way three times in a row is ridiculous. Their servers have an attitude problem. Im sure there are good ones but my last three experiences were awful service wise, which is enough for me to write this review and never go back.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever had a restaurant. Brought my mom out for a birthday dinner and it was horrible. The host didn’t even greet us or say a word, just simply set menus on the table. The server seemed in a hurry while taking orders and instead of coming to the table she would yell across the restaurant to her tables to save herself steps. Prior to ordering we were offered specials that we ordered but after receiving the bill the prices didn’t reflect the specials we were told. The manager displayed the worst customer service of all and basically told us too bad and I’ll have to yell at her for offering that to you. Very disappointed and don’t plan on ever coming back.

Our server didn't do a good job. Skipped one person's order completely. Many walks back and forth because of inefficiency. I had the strawberry salad and the chicken was cooked into leather. My companions were not real impressed with their food either. I gave 2nd star because the drinks were good once we received them.

Worst Applebee's location I've been too. I don't write reviews much anymore but this was a terrible experience. They did not ask about preferred seating (booth or table), but we were seated to the far right section that no one was sitting in. Instantly disgusted by all the food and trash on the floor that staff was walking over, we decided we couldn't wait for the waitress and moved to a "cleaner" area/table. We ordered drinks and our food from a waitress that was irritated and less than pleased to be there. I stepped away to go to the restroom and on my way back there was some gossip between staff about why we decided to switch tables in a irreverent tone. ?? After debating with my guest whether we should leave or not our waters and Blue Moon were served. This Blue Moon was unlike any I've ever tasted. It had no foam, and tasted extremely off. So much so I couldn't have more than a sip. After waiting 30 minutes for our appetizers, they finally came. Surprisingly pleased with my wanton tacos, the boneless wings were plated with no effort, they were rock hard and mine didnt come with carrots or celery but my girlfriends did. Also the plate was very hot? Microwaved maybe, im not sure. Despite coming in very hungry our plates had plenty of food left on them when we left. Bad vibes from staff, bad vibes from atmosphere. It's not fun worrying about staff doing something to our food when all we did was switch seats. YIKES

Ordered a salad. Was told after my family got there food, no salad mix. Had to order something different. Waited again for my food and my family was almost done. We asked for silverware,didn't get any. Grab from clean table. Food was cold and not very good. We were there for 1 and a half hours and the place was not busy.

Had chicken quesadilla and a carefully measured jigger and a half “double”. Quesadilla was half full and heavy on the onions. Cutting them a break with the two stars because they were short staffed for a weekend.

Waited long to get our drinks and it wasn't busy, ordered queso and chips queso was cold sent back to heat up still not warm, ordered riblett platter they were ice cold so we refused them. Come here all the time this is the first time in years food was horrible same for the appetizer sampler. Must have a new cook or something.

When arrived in the evening, the place looked like it was closed. There were no outside lights turned on whatsoever. I notified 2 wait staff of the fact that there were no lights on outside. When I left, the lights on the outside were all on and the parking lot appeared to have more vehicles in it afterward. Our beverages arrived at our table without any napkins - had to ask for them. Eating utensils were disgusting - looked dirty. A senior discount is something you get - but you have to ask for it. I've had better experiences there in the past.

Food was really good as always. Our waitress seemed to be lost though. She didn't bring silverware and took forever to get it. Food got cold waiting. Wanted dessert and waiting like 10 minutes for a brownie. I will be back there but this wasn't the greatest time.

Very poor experience on Saturday 10/16. Arrived at 3:00 and took a very long time for a server to acknowledge us. Took longer for my beer. No check back to see how the food was, no silverware and no beverage refill. Many dirty tables throughout the restaurant for over an hour. The staff had no pace and intensity. Very disappointing for an Applebee's. We had to ask for the half price apps? Hmm

Had the Fiesta Lime Chicken off of their 2 for $28 menu. My wife had her usual oriental chicken salad. Comes with appetizer. Ordered the BBQ chicken tenders. And a peach mango lemonade. The main dish comes with pico de gallo. That had fresh jalapeños. All of it was very tasty.

Our server was amazing! However, I watched another server take our food to the table next to us. When she went in the back and then after talking to our original server, brought out the plates she had just given to another table, we refused those plates of food. The server who brought our food out then proceeded to speak with the manager on duty, who went into the kitchen with the second server. Approximately 5-7 minutes later, she returned with the same food just put on a different plate with some parsley sprinkled on it to make it look pretty. It was obvious my steak had been put on the grill again, I ordered medium and it was well done, and the broccoli and potatoes were cold. When I asked for the check and my to go order, I was told that they would remake the food. I explained to our server that we did not want to eat food that had been given to someone else and that trying to give us the original food on another plate did not correct the initial issue of giving someone else that food first. We were offered free dessert, but due to a tree nut allergy, we couldn’t accept. This started out as a great visit and tanked very quickly. Not once did the manager apologize, but the waitress did and she was amazing!! I like Applebee’s but I won’t be going back.to this location.

Had the worst/oddest service I have ever had in my life. We went in for half priced apps around 9:30. Our server was this little fella with the strangest energy. I’m not sure if he was on drugs or what but he was being incredibly loud and obnoxious. He did the airplane sounds when dropping the food on our table lol. That part was at least mildly entertaining. The part I can’t get past is him openly mocking me in front of the entire lobby. He did this TWICE. It took everything I had in me not to smash this little 5’ manlet. If anyone gets this guy as their server, you will know immediately who I am talking about. Again, the oddest and most abrasive service I’ve ever had. That was the first time in 32 years I have not left someone a tip.

I had steak dinner with mashed potatoes and broccoli, cooked as I ordered, was great meal and service I seen some new mini tacos Appetizers and ordered the chicken ones and again amazed how good they were. I don't think anyone would not be happy with this location in Still Water

Service was distracted or not consistent 🤔. How many people drink or order beer with ice cubes???? 🤔 Burger was medium like I ordered but dried out and tasteless! My friends' 4 cheese macaroni and chicken 🐔 was also off. The macaroni and cheese was good, but chicken was very overcooked he could hardly bite through them. This is a never return feeling! Sad just sad. I should have only ordered the onion rings. They were good.

Place was too busy for the wait staff and the kitchen could not keep up. There was a bug in my salad. Made me loose my appetite. My sirloin that I wanted medium-medium rare was perfectly done. Tasted wonderful with the cooked broccoli. Because of the bug in my salad, management apologized and paid for my meal.

I had a very bad first experience at the Stillwater Applebee's when I went. There are some things that were not the fault of this restaurant, but I feel I should mention everything. First, no matter where I was sitting, I was constantly blinded by flashing cars passing outside and lights that were annoyingly positioned inside the restaurant. The server we had was really talkative and did not allow me and my friends to have a conversation for longer than thirty seconds during the first half of our time there. It was quite disruptive and made the dining experience less enjoyable. Ordering was okay, but when I asked for my steak to be cooked "extra rare," it came out well done. The server promptly placed a new order, which was appreciated, but I still don't understand why my friends received their food before me, and then I had to wait for a poorly prepared meal. While I give credit for receiving the correct food eventually, it was frustrating to watch my friends eat while my food was delayed due to the mistake. Additionally, the bathroom had a urinal in the worst possible place, making it uncomfortable to use. They should consider relocating it. All in all, thinking about this experience makes me never want to go to this Applebee's again. I hope they take customer feedback seriously and work on improving these issues to provide a better dining experience for others

After waiting over ten minutes for a server to ask us if they could even get us a beverage, the service was the poorest we have had. After asking and waiting for our bill, the server brought us out the electronic device which did not have our bill. She said she could take our card and run it, took our family's card and had it IN HER MOUTH in plain view of us. That is disgusting and not okay!! Then proceeded to take the card into the back for a few minutes without telling us anything. After several minutes of no knowledge of what's going on we are finally told that the table next to us accidentally paid our bill. My boyfriend's aunt had to go WASH her card several times due to it being in someone else's mouth. That is horrible, disgusting and we will never be giving Applebee's another chance after this.

Our server was wonderful. Very attentive and came back several times to check on us. I haven't been to an Applebee's in many years. The food wasn't bad but I wasn't impressed. It was just ok. I got a blue Hawaiian long Island ice tea... didn't even taste like alcohol was in there.

Saturday at supper time and the place was empty we should have gone somewhere else All our plates were over cooked and cold. My friends pasta had barely any sauce and when we asked for more we were told it would cost extra. The green beans sounded good but what we got were almost black mush. You would think maybe waiting til we leave to spend a looong time vacuuming

Placed an order for two salads on app for car side to go at Oak Park Heights. Arrived at the time they said order would be ready and called. Was told it would be out shortly. After waiting 20 more minutes my husband went inside. After he was in another 15 min I called and asked about the food. Was told a manager would talk to him. Manager was rude, asked for the name and went into the kitchen. Sent food out but would not address the situation. We waited 75 min to get 2 salads!

Waitress takes order without writing it down and messed it up and never came back to table. She sent a manager to fix the bill and issue. Usually it's not that bad that will be the lase time I go to that location. Trash

Was told there was gonna be a thirty minute wait when they were dozens of empty tables. The hostess gave us some sass about it because we obviously asked why, and he goes “we’re super busy.” Riiight, that’s why theirs a bunch of open tables. We asked if we could just sit down, and he said they would refuse to serve us if we did. I just wanted to spend some time eating nice food and got treated terribly. We asked if we could order at the bar, and he said that it would be the same wait. Just say you don’t have enough people doing their job to serve us? “Our kitchen is backed up” Sounds like a you problem. Definitely won’t be coming back to this location.

The fried chicken burger I got was raw. How is that even possible from a restaurant? This is beyond imagination I would love to sue you and be sure if I am going to have any related sicknesses I will sue. This is a shame. I have picture as well but do not have the option to post it.

We love the Thursdays half price appetizers from 4-6. The drinks are good and menu has foods that little ones like.

The worst experience I have ever had. Horrible service from every member of the staff including the manager. The wait for food was over an hour long. Once it came 3 of the orders had been incorrect and my steak was undercooked….Well not even cooked really. Not once did anyone apologize. I was even blamed for my order by management stating my hour wait was my fault because of the steak I ordered (which was actually just medium). Again it wasn’t even cooked basically at all. Not once did our waitress offer to give refills of drinks. I will never be back. That manager had no idea what he’s doing or how to talk to people.

We just came from here. We go here all the time and have excellent experience; however, this time was different. There were only two other tables there. Our server, (Mikal?), never once checked up on us after dropping off food, never asked if we wanted refills, or to go boxes, and was late to coming to our table with the device to pay. We had a gift receipt that would only cover half of the bill so she had to do the payment herself. After she did it, she yelled our total out to us in front of the other tables at the restaurant. We have had years of experience as servers and have never seen someone care so little about a table.

In short, don’t go here on a Saturday night if you want to have decent service. A special was advertised by the host stand. I asked our server about the special, but he had no idea about it and couldn’t speak to it. They were out of root beer and out of tartar sauce at 6pm on a Saturday. When our food was brought out, the runners plopped the plates on our table and took off without checking in with us. Typically, good service would suggest upon delivery of food, the deliverer would ask if everything looks correct and if we needed anything else; we got nothing like that. So there we sat with no utensils or napkins and all our food. Not able to get anyone’s attention, I walked back near the kitchen and asked another server for utensils for our meal. She seemed to take interest in wanting to help and went back into the kitchen. Did she come back out with utensils for us? No, she completely blew us off. Overall poor experience.

Made a reservation for 9, took forever to be connected to someone who “knew” how to book one. Got there, no reservation. The food and service seemed decent but afterwards 7/9 people got food poisoning. No shared appetizers.

We ended up ordering to go and the food wasn't good... Rubbery bread, sauces mixed on my other dish making the chicken soggy.. just bummed for $100

Our server Emily was so kind and witty, she had us rolling laughing! She also gave us a free dessert since we are expecting a baby.. so kind! We loved her!!

Very good 6 oz sirloin steak. Service was good, and pricing reasonable. Good clean restaurant with plenty TV screens to watch at any angle. I would definitely eat here again.

Not enough servers, the pasta was weirdly syrupy sweet and all the food was cold. And they didnt have enough real silverware.

Poor experience New Year's day. No crayons for kids menu. Refused to make any coffee. Too late.... it was 9:45 pm. Poor service and server made zero attempt to be of service. Could only say "no".... won't return to this business.

Rarely do I ever leave a review but today's service was bad. The resturant was not that busy and there were 4 waitresses. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks and appetizer, another 30 minutes for the main course. Twice I had to ask another waitress to get our waitress who seemed to spend more time in the back or on the computer than waiting tables. We chose applebees because of the blondie dessert but was a little apprehensive to order because of the wait time which only took 15 minutes. Luckily, there are more than 1 Applebees in the area because I won't be going back to the one in Oak Park Heights, Mn.

Was there around 830pm the Sat night of Thanksgiving weekend. Despite very few people, the service was the worst I've ever had at an Applebee's and I've been to many over the years. Staff, including the manager preferred to goof around instead of take care of people. The whole place needs a deep cleaning! Yuck.... If we had seen the reviews prior to going we never would have stopped here. Didn't think to check because things are usually great no matter which one, in any state we stop at. Corporate Applebee's should seriously send some secret shoppers randomly. I would suggest they consider pulling their franchise. This place appears to be habitually bad and no one cares....
