We went out for a motorcycle ride and while we've been to Prescott a 100 times, we've never eaten at Philanders. Geez, that was a mistake! Not sure we'll eat anywhere else now! So from the beginning we felt welcome and appreciated. We were greeted immediately and our waitress ( I can't remember her name, I'm so sorry because she was the bees knees) was so nice and gracious. We asked for recommendations and was immediately pointed to the French Dip. So we got the giant pretzel, French dip and Frisco Melt. Holy cow! Everything was definitely above average. We left probably 2 hours ago and I'm still full. We did not have any alcohol so I can't speak to that, but the best part. All that food for $40! We will go back and will recommend philanders to EVERYONE! GREAT WORK!

Get the steak bites, they are the best I have ever had. We stopped in for a quick bite and we were glad we did. We had an assortment of food from burgers to salads. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. The service was excellent and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The place is open, bright and clean.

Great little place to ride/drive out to from the Twin Cities. I sat at the bar and ordered a whisky sour and avocado burger. The avocado burger had a lot going on and I see why it is an award winner. Mine unfortunately was well done. The whisky sour was nothing to write home about. But also, it was $2.50 so I'm not going to judge it too harshly. I wouldn't go here for craft cocktails. But when in Prescott, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

The best restaurant in Prescott Wisconsin. The atmosphere is like a real European pub style eatery. Fooe is excellent and the have a variety of food ranging from cheese curds to steak. Both prepared fresh and curds are hand battered. Highly recommend this place.

I love this place! I have family in Prescott and this is our favorite place to eat as a group. There is an emphasis on sports and alcohol but hey, it’s Wisconsin and a lot of bar and grill places have a similar atmosphere. It can take some time to get your food sometimes but it’s worth it, it’s usually a very busy place as it’s popular with locals and some people from the east metro too.

Once you've been here, you will love it! Everything on the menu is reasonably priced, and the place has a great atmosphere! I will stop in every time I'm fortunate enough to be in the area!

Avocado Burger was fantastic. Very juicy, and flavorful. But the star of the lunch was the onion rings. Great crispy batter, and yummy onions inside.
