I love this place! Knowledgeable staff, a large variety of nursery stock & garden art. I never leave empty handed. If you're looking for plants that attract butterflies etc., pay attention to the critters who visit. They will take you to their favorites. I photographed a Black Swallowtail while there.

I stopped to get new boxwood hedges for the house and was helped by I really nice lady named Beverly. It was hot outside but she stayed with me picking out the best plants for the house. I went to tell the front desk lady how good the service was and how helpful Beverly was much to my surprise I was told Beverly was actually the owner and she’s there 7 days a week helping her staff and customers. Definitely will be going back and supporting this business!

Went to The Gate to find new pots and plants for my front porch. I received such great advice and assistance with making the decisions from pot color and size to type of plants. Beverly asked all of the right questions and took time to narrow down what would look good in our space. Awesome customer service on top of great quality products! We will be back!

Most knowledgeable and helpful nursery in the entire Houston area. Stay away from big box stores and buy local. The soil, plants etc. are all specifically created and chosen for our climate. Their all natural "chicken poop" is the BEST fertilizer we've ever used.

This is probably one of my favorite nurseries around. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff and beautiful grounds. The gift shop not only has a great selection of gifts, but also tools and literature for all kinds plants and landscaping. The nursery is very well setup, with specific and marked areas (shade plants, vegetables, fruit trees, sun plants...etc etc). They have a wonderful selection of Greenleaf products, and high end Monrovia products. The only downside is they are extremely busy on weekends and parking can be crazy. Highly suggest a weekday visit.

Great selection of plants however they have a horrible parking issue, Thursday afternoon and parking lot is closed. Cars lined up along 2920. How dangerous is that. I had to walk 200 yards or so in a ditch along 2920. Probably won’t go back. Many other nurseries available in the Cypress/ Tomball area. Hope they can solve this issue.

The workers are the absolute sweetest people. They have a huge variety, everything was beautiful and my kids loved walking through. I went in for advice on my indoor fiddle leaf fig and they were extremely kind and helpful. She educated me on how to care for it and bring it back to life, she even talked to me more on the phone when I called with more questions after I left. Highly recommend

****WARNING**** for those buying in bulk. We bought 20+ knockout rose bushes a couple months ago. 4 of them didn’t make it. They were UNWILLING to replace them and told me it was FINAL and they had no control over the weather or if they weren’t properly watered. They were absolutely watered, spending $800 on our roses you would THINK they would take care of their customers. Would never do business here again. Do NOT recommend this business whatsoever.

We visit nursery's very often and our visit here was Absolutely wonderful. There was so much to see. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and don't mind answering questions. It was super hot today and we didn't purchase much during this visit, but we spotted a few beauties we plan to add to our home very soon.

Excellent experience. This place is the go to spot for your DIY horticulture. Plenty of diverse selection, an abundance of knowledgeable assistance and inspiration galore 😀. Absolutely recommended for nearly anyone 👍🏼

One of my most favorite places to go when I need a break from the home and kids! It’s like a field trip for ONE! I think they carry probably the most variety of plants and pots that I have ever seen! I always find something to add to my collection of plants! Also employees are all very nice and helpful and knowledgeable!!! Grab a hat & sunglasses some spf ! Make sure you bring water (pack a cooler) and your cellphone charged!! Oh and your wallet incase you find something you love!!!

This has to be my favorite greenhouse EVER! Wonderful healthy plants. Whimsical out door decorations. A fun place to go... I can spend hours in there... My husband had to come get me... I forgot he was waiting.... 😔

Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE!!! everyone is so friendly and helpful!!! The owner Beverly is just amazing!!! She's super outgoing and sweet🥰 they get all kinds of plants, herbs and vegetables! Along with cute garden decorations inside and my favorite they sell real life lady bugs!!!!

Arbor Gate is my go-to for plants and more! There’s a lot to explore and the selection far exceeds any big chain. I love checking out the rose house to see what’s new. They have a great variety of low light and shade plants (IYKYK). The selection of outdoor decorations, arbors and trellises, containers, and garden necessities is pretty good. The containers are high quality and beautiful, but priced to match. The house in front is a fun little gift shop and also where you go to checkout. The staff is incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Yes, parking during peak season can mean a little walk along a highway. Law enforcement keeps a good handle on things and it’s not all day. It usually comes in waves and is only a handful of weeks. You’ll find a new plant to love here!

MUST VISIT destination for outdoor inspiration! Plants AND yard art galore. A feast for the eyes! If it is your first visit, allow several hours for casual browsing to take it all in. Wide selection. Will order. Variety of sizes on many items to accommodate budget and whether you prefer to plant small or large.

Awesome little spot to learn about what you’re planting and building! They have quality products and care about educating you every step of the way. Great place to shop if you need expert guidance and information. Love the fact they’re not a large corporation and have been around for a long time.

Huge plant selection, knowledgeable staff, cool garden décor, and amazing customer service- LOVE this place. I'm giving them a 4.8... the only reason I can't give them a solid 5 is their parking situation, but I don't know how much they can expand given their location. If you love plants you need to come here.

This is definitely the place to go if you want a healthy, reasonably priced plant. Their selection is awesome and they have herbs in stock when other places do not. It can get crowded so go early. Have a plant question? Just ask. Their staff are always helpful. I asked for a plant that has leaves similar to a mimosa tree but they have red, orangey blooms. Pride of Barbados she answered quickly and showed me where to find it. The pottery is a bit pricey for my liking but their variety and color choices are pretty darn good.
