Chose this gym for the convenience to my shore house here. $30 a month seems a bit steep for the aging equipment here but without any major chains in the area you kind of are stuck with the options that exist here. Staff is friendly, I love the old school weights but I can see others having an issue with that. Strong recommendation to upgrade the cardio equipment, as it has definitely surpassed it’s time. Locker rooms could totally use a refresh too and you feel pretty gross in there. I’ll still give this place 4 stars because overall I do enjoy coming here and it’s never too crowded. EDIT: I edited this review and left three stars. You guys are a GYM - for gods sake, fill the hand sanitizer stations up and fix the broken equipment. I live in Ocean City seasonally and just came back and the exact same broken equipment from 8 months ago is STILL broken. This is the reason why gyms that do a half *** job like this one, go out of business the second a Planet Fitness opens up. All of the mirrors are gone now too and it’s just raw patched up drywall lol. It’s a gym, it works but it’s not worth more than $10 a month and I would switch in a second if something better opened up unless they made some changes.

Just tried Coastal Fitness this past week for a 3-day pass while in OC for the week and I will definitely be back on future trips! Really appreciated the welcoming, friendly atmosphere and availability of machines and equipment. The facility felt safe and clean on each visit. Great experience, definitely recommend!

If you're a serious gym goer, this place is awful. The cables are frayed and ready to snap, they get caught on the pulleys. They do have a good hack squat and leg press. If you want to hit legs, this place isn't bad. I had an amazing leg day there. Same for chest, althought there are no converging presses which makes the workout automatically inferior. Awful for any other day. The prices are also insane for what you get, 100$ a week and you can't even replace broken cables for your guests? Lol. There's also a smith machine but there is only 1 bench. And the sarm goblins steal it for the squat racks. So you'll never use the smith machine unless you want to do some standing military presses or Bulgarian split squats with a box. Bathrooms are also filthy. Goodluck finding hand sanitizer and soap anywhere in the gym haha. Won't be coming back to say the least, good staff tho.

Visiting from out of town and purchased a day pass. The Stairmaster(s) are on their last legs and no locks were available for lockers when I got there in early evening were my two biggest nags. Stairmaster just felt rickety. Not a large warmup/exercise mat but it worked. They did however have every machine and weight combination I use at my home gym except Kettle Bell. I use 71 & 80lbs for 3" platform dead lifts but they only had 50lbs or so if I remember correctly (extra reps & sets lol). All in all a good place for a workout and staff were super helpful & apolagetic about the lock. I will return.

Nice gym away from home. Clean and well equipped. The prices were reasonable. The only reason I can't give 5-stars is it was difficult to use much of the equipment because it was too busy. I tried 3 different times on 3 different days, but it was pretty much the same thing.

I really like coming to this gym when I’m on vacation. Most people working out here are typically dedicated individuals working out on vacation, so they have experience in the gym and with that comes good gym Etiquette (typically). The equipment is old school with some modern equipment. The staff is friendly and the weekly passes are reasonable in my opinion.

Overall great gym, good equipment (some of it older but well maintained). There is a good selection of equipment granted its very tight and many machines only have a couple inches between them, although I’d say that isn’t a concern for most people. The rates aren’t the best, but if you have an edge fit membership the week pass is only $25 and day pass is only $5. I will say that most of the cardio equipment is well past its prime with damaged buttons ect.

Got a one day pass on a weekend trip. Good gym, has all the equipment you would expect. Lockers are available and I wasn't charged extra. The only negative is that the rope attachment for the cable machine was very worn out, and there was only one I could find. Otherwise its a very serviceable and convenient gym.

Well equipped, lots of good old-fashioned machines and weights, everything you need for a serious work out and weightlifting during your holiday. Good atmosphere, mixed people. Very kind guy at the reception, uncomplicated, day pass 12 bugs and you’re all set.

This is the 2nd time in 3 weeks that I get ready to go to the gym. Drive there and when I get there to workout during the posted hours they are not open. I was there at 7:05 tonight. Posted hours on the door and online say they are open until 9:00 and no one is there again . Very frustrating!
