The front desk staff was very helpful.. Nice and soft spoken with their clients.. staff was amazing.. Very clean hygienic and spacious room.. Most of the city tour points are close by. We have stayed at this hotel on December 9 to 11 and the food was very good. If you are in shimla must visit this place... I hope this review will help you.

The friendly, courteous staff went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were met promptly and efficiently. This includes the front desk, restaurant and the housekeeping staff. This level of personal service we experienced is heads and shoulders above what we have experienced in much more expensive hotels. The room's are appointed nicely, beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room temperature was comfortable. Overall a great value for the money spent. We highly recommend this hotel.

Splendid sunrise and sunsets will leave the visitors mesmerized. Rooms: Well-lit, spacious, and warmly decorated to give you the feeling of HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Reception: Warm welcome is extended to ensure comfort and hospitality. The desk staff is courteous and knowledgeable. Perks: Close to Town Center and all amenities. You can walk to most places and parking is pretty good and convenient. The hosts are kind and graceful and will go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The sunny disposition of this hotel and the professionalism of the staff will make your stay a memorable experience. Clean, delicious food options and a healthy breakfast will make you want to revisit.

This hotel perfectly suited my need. It has enough parking space and is a 20 min walk to the Mall Road. The walk may seem tiring at first, but you slowly start enjoying it. We stayed for 3 days and always walked to the Mall Road for lunch/dinner. The hotel staff is very polite and professional. The rooms are very good. The hotel has a nice boutique vibe to it. The view from the valley facing rooms is beautiful. Overall, if anyone wants to explore Shimla, then I would definitely recommend this property.

Pros : Spacious and well-appointed rooms. Room have all the basic and essential amenities and facilities. Round the clock hot water supply in both bathroom and wash basin is commendable. Room service and house keeping team were extremely friendly and attentive. Superb team to say the least. Mall road is at walkable distance and it takes around 10 minutes. In-house restaurant. Cons: Though they run a good in-house restaurant with wide ranging food options, they are not pocket friendly. As a matter of fact, the food is very costly. For three people, you may have to shell out something between 1,000 to 1,500 rupees for dinner. Though the promptly arrange cab rentals for local sightseeing and outstation pick ups and drops, the fare is quite high. Rest assured, your stay will be excellent.

Nice hotel. Beautiful and spacious rooms with great view. Best thing is the staff. Staffs are so sweet and humble. I reached at early 5:30 am it was dark, even though hotel was closed from inside. But they came out in hurry and we were in the room at 5:45 am. What a service. 24 hours hot water available. Hotel is just 1 km from mall road and the ridge. 15-20 minutes walking distance. Breakfast was superb, nice spread in menu. Had a great stay in Royal Retreat. Yeah I definitely recommend.

Checked in at this hotel late. Got upgraded by the management. I would say it’s a comfortable & luxurious place for stay. The team here from security to the manager all are courteous & provided quick services. Had dinner & breakfast in our package. Meals were delicious & dining experience was wonderful. Had to check out early so the staff assisted for packing our breakfast for the journey which was kind hospitality by them. Would recommend this place.

This was my first visit to Shimla and incidentally I got to know about Royal retreat. We were 3 adults and 2 children. The hotel management was able to arrange a family room which was so spacious and it stands to its Ratings. The front office staff were so kind and helpful. The stewards were polite and supportive. This is a hotel for any one to stay as Mall Road is just 20 mins away. Thank you staff. You made our visit memorable.

One of the best accommodations in Shimla. My experience is extremely pleasant. Room was neat and clean and the service was satisfactory. The staffs are supportive and The Manager has a great sense of hospitality. They also plan your hassle free tour in and around Shimla. Since the Mall Road is on walking distance from this place, the hotel is relatively affordable. I loved the food served my Inayssa Restaurant. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful experience staying at royal retreat. It was a short stay but we were overwhelmed by the warmth and swiftness of the service and the hospitality of the entire staff. Highly recommend for families and couples. PS- the food was amazing too.

Nice hotel in Shimla one with family or couple must stay here. Very nice and cooperative staff. they helped travellers alot. Location is much near to mall road. Early check in facility they provide me without any cost which was nice experience. Food is quality is average. One must try the resturant near hotel which they serve good quality food. Rooms were quite decent, although the service was too poor for the price we were charged. Had to call the house keeping and the reception multiple times. Very casual behavior from the senior management as well. This experience could have been much better.
