First off I’ll say that the instructor was really good but my complaint is with the business practice here. The cost to go to this school for my 3 year old was over $300 in June 2022. He wound up doing half decent in the class so we decided to sign him up for the next session since slots were being filled quickly (August 2022 since July was already filled). In the last week my son had an accident on the pool. Their policy was that we needed to purchase their $20 swim diaper for him to keep him in the class. Since there was only 2 classes left we decided to just keep him out. I get it, there’s a policy. After my wife and I talked it over we decided to put him in a different school where the instructor will come to the house and use your own pool for the lessons. We called SSS to ask for a refund of the classes not starting for another 2 months to which they replied they would credit the account but not issue a refund. This wasn’t what we wanted because we were taking him out so the lady on the phone told us she would speak with her manager and see what they could do. We get a call back a little while later saying that they would refund the money but that now, not only my son, but any siblings he may have are now banned for life and we’re not allowed to go back. We found this a bit comical since we had no intention of going back anyway and what makes it even more hysterical is that now we are telling all our friends and family at how ridiculous this is that they acted this way. Why would you guys not just refund the money and say have a nice day but instead issue a lifetime ban as well? This doesn’t seem like good business practice to me.

I cannot say enough good things about this wonderful place! Not only did it help my little one learn to swim (at 4 weeks old!) but it also helped with my confidence as a first time mom! The instructors take their time to work with each little one at their skill level and teach the parents how to to create great swimming habits. Start early! Stay forever!

They are always amazing with kids! My oldest is now 7 and attended seal swim school for a few sessions. He was swimming like a fish at the age of 3. Now, my current 3 year old had an amazing session with Mr. Colt. Mr Colts personality was such a great fit for my outgoing child. My son couldn’t wait for his swimming lessons and enjoyed learning new things from him. We look forward to joining another session in the near future.

We love Seal Swim! My daughter has been swimming with them for 2 years now. She is almost 3 and can safely get out of our pool and loves putting on her flippers to swim and dive for rings. As an adult I also started lessons to work on my strokes and improve my exercise routine! We look forward to learning more!

We love love love this swim school. Our son has been swimming there for 3 years and at 5 years old is swimming the the entire length of an Olympic pool. Not only has he learned about water safety and getting the wall, but has also learned butterfly and back stroke along with freestyle. We love this place and the family you become apart of when you sign up.

Seal Swim School is the best! Runs like a well-oiled machine. The management truly cares about kids and it shows in how they check-in with parents and kids regularly, and make adjustments to coach assignments as needed. SSS coaches balance perfectly between stretching new swimmers to challenge themselves while also going at their pace and matching the lessons to their skill level. They got my anxious 3 year old swimming within just a few lessons, and I am so grateful!

All three of my littles have learned to swim at Seal Swim School and we just love all the instructors and the results we have seen with each child. My 2 year old has been all smiles at each lesson and is always eager to get in the water and swim with Miss Riley and Miss Ella. What he has learned is invaluable and we are so grateful he can now swim across the length of our pool, doing turnovers for air, and can get the wall if he falls in the pool. I will continue to recommend Seal Swim School to anyone I know with kids because they always produce results and the instructors are truly invested in their success. Seal Swim School really does a good job. It is tough to manage young children and all young children are different. The instructors do the best they can.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Seal Swim School. Our son has always loved the water, but been very cautious when it came to swimming. With tye help of his classmates, and especially the encouragement from his instructor Miss Cici, he has started to really show his confidence in the swimming pool. The patience and understanding shown was above par, and more than I ever expected. He now has the confidence to get swimming. We can't wait to start our 2nd session this week and see just how far he comes!!

I have two young kids who have attended seal swim school North Pinellas. They both LOVE going to swim class. The instructors and staff are wonderful, friendly, enthusiastic and skilled. The team is also very diligent about trying to get families scheduled in efficient time frames that meet their unique needs. It’s such a relief knowing my kids are becoming great swimmers. You can’t put a price on swim safety (especially in FL). Thank you Seal Swim School!

Best swim school around!! My girls had taken lots of lessons at Goldfish swim school ahen we lived in NY and they weren't progressing or moving up levels- they were so coddled there. The second they started to cry they took them out of the water and there goes your expensive half hour swim lesson that you took time out of your day to drive to etc. Seal swim is the exact opposite of what I mentioned above. My little one loved the lessons here and if she ever did cry, they were able to work with her and get her back on track. My 3 year old advanced so much in her 12 lessons! She will continue in the fall, and I will recommend Seal swim school to anyone looking for great classes!

Love seal swim so much I honestly can’t praise them enough. It’s such a relief as a mom to know my daughter is safe by bodies of water. It’s worth the drive, the cost and all. Don’t hesitate to choose them to be the ones to teach your baby/toddler to swim!

Seal Swim School is amazing! My son just finished his second swim session today with Ms. Shannon and it was amazing!!!!!!! He is swimming with so much more confidence now and can float!!!!!!!! I encourage everyone to enroll their littles here!!!!!

We love Seal Swim school! My 2 year old has been doing classes with them since she was 8 months old and is very confident in the water and loves to swim!

Helene has been incredible with our son. He trusts her whole heartedly and has become such a strong confident swimmer!! SSS made learning fun.
