I
arrived
here
for
an
opticians
appointment

minutes
late
-
I
don't
drive,
so
I'm
at
mercy
of
the
buses.
I
was
told
to
wait
in
the
seating
area,
which
was
packed
(surely
the
opticians
weren't
keeping
customers
waiting!),
before
being
told
that
I
was
in
fact
too
late
for
my
appointment,
and
that
we
would
never
get
the
test
done
in
the
allocated
'up
to
an
hour'
time
slot.
I
would
have
understood
had
I
been
10
or
more
minutes
late,
but
5
minutes
is
ridiculous.
I
was
told
I
was
allowed
to
return
over
two
hours
later
as
they'd
had
a
cancellation
-
how
amenable.
I
spent
£4
on
the
bus
to
get
to
the
appointment,
only
to
be
turned
away.
Customers
beware:
you
must
step
through
the
threshold
not
a
minute
after
your
appointment,
or
it
will
be
cancelled!
Likewise,
if
they
keep
you
waiting
up
to
five
minutes,
request
compensation
or
take
your
business
elsewhere!
I'm
sure
this
had
absolutely
nothing
to
do
with
how
busy
they
were
-
they
would
have
turned
me
away
had
the
place
been
empty
too.
