Was seen by a very nice and professional group of opticians, and today the 12th Nov picked up 3 pair of glasses, well satisfied.

Staff are so friendly and very helpful, I had to have varifocals this time,everything was explained to me regarding wearing them n how to get the best experience out of them,I can actually see far n near perfectly which is amazing. I would definitely recommend specsavers to anyone

I had a hearing test and new hearing aids supplied. A very detailed test and explanation of the features of the hearing aids and ongoing care available. An altogether friendly and efficient service.

I arrived here for an opticians appointment 5 minutes late - I don't drive, so I'm at mercy of the buses. I was told to wait in the seating area, which was packed (surely the opticians weren't keeping customers waiting!), before being told that I was in fact too late for my appointment, and that we would never get the test done in the allocated 'up to an hour' time slot. I would have understood had I been 10 or more minutes late, but 5 minutes is ridiculous. I was told I was allowed to return over two hours later as they'd had a cancellation - how amenable. I spent £4 on the bus to get to the appointment, only to be turned away. Customers beware: you must step through the threshold not a minute after your appointment, or it will be cancelled! Likewise, if they keep you waiting up to five minutes, request compensation or take your business elsewhere! I'm sure this had absolutely nothing to do with how busy they were - they would have turned me away had the place been empty too.

Had an appointment today to change my daughters glasses. The place was very busy but we were served promptly. We were served by Matthew. He is so friendly and helpful. I must say every time I have been in your branch he always has a smile and nothing is any trouble for him. He is a great asset to your branch. Thank you.

Friendly, pleasant and polite staff. Took time to explain what they were doing each step of the way. Professional yet they were reasonably quick. Only 30 minutes from entering the shop to leaving. That included eye sight test measuring for my chosen glasses. Brilliant. M. Baker.

Absolutely packed out, then they had lost my mothers appointment in the system, so have to make another, but they couldn't do it there as it has to be done elsewhere, you couldn't make it up, avoid at all costs!

Mint I've had 3 eye tests this year but Veronica got my prescription spot on, I can see again properly .... Makes such a difference

Screens in place (for protection), and masks worn. Came here for 2 separate visits - mam to collect new glasses/,get them altered as not correct from first fitting. Now good. Me - an eye health check. Lady was very helpful and gave eyes a thorough check, and advice on what to do. All staff helpful & friendly.

Recently had an eye test. Felt I was told that my vision was better or worse with particular lenses rather than asked. They were very eager for me to have a trial of contact lenses though couldn't give me a price for after the free trial. I came out feeling less than impressed for the first time and bought glasses elsewhere.

unfortunately i have lost my glasses. but were working fine.

I called yesterday as i wanted a second opinion after being presscribed glasses for distance from another opticians was told my distance was fine so mow ibwill be using Specsavers from now on
