Only stayed for one night, but what a pleasant experience, friendly staff, delicious breakfast to order.

This is home away from home!!! The host was AMAZING. The accommodation was Top notch! Safe parking. Well maintained property. Lighting created that rustic feel. The colour scheme is beautiful.. leather chairs crisp clean white bedding.. clean floors. Microwave..plates cutlery glasses cups. Basin to wash up dishes. soap n sponge. Bedding was fresh n clean! The room is clean and smells wonderful. Attention to detail.. flowers in the towels n biscuits.. milk tea coffee sugar.. fridge nice n cold and working. Bathroom is excellent! Clean fresh towels. Shower n bath tub Really clean. Really nice smelling hand wash bath bubbles and the heater in bathroom.. great touch. Thank you.100% for everything! Real value for money. Kids were super relaxed after a soak in the tub. The 2nd room with 3 beds, really nice and We didn't feel squashed. Woke up to the sound of birds and chickens.. lovely. We felt relaxed after a really love long drive and we appreciate the effort of the host. Lovely place. Will definitely visit again❤💯 with love from the Omar family.

Neat room , welcoming service. Not a lot of hot water for shower. Struggled to get it warm and then I did not last. Otherwise a great stopover.

Room cold and dark with many excuses why the generator broke down just before the longweekend. In the diningroom again many excuses why the gasheater does not work. In winter very cold wonder what it would be like in summer

The place is very beautiful, no jealousy there. The service was completely horrible,we checked in late at night and we were we told to walk around the premised to look for rooms that are vacant.We raised concerns that the rooms only have one bed,the response was "I don't care,sort yourselves out." Horrible experience honestly.

The place is lovely and the rooms are cosy, everything here is great. The only issue is when the generator goes off every now and then during loadshedding otherwise I’d definitely come back here.

Top class!! The rooms are beautifully decorated with a rustic yet elegant interior. Everything you need is on hand. Perfect for a weary traveler!! And to top it all, dinner on site in the most beautiful setting, with food that is absolutely delicious!!! You cannot go wrong staying here.

Didn't make my booking, sent me to another guesthouse owned by the same company, supposed to 4 star as well...highly doubt it is even 3 stars. Had to phone manager after I was told she would phone me!

The tree outside blows against the tin roof in the wind, causing a loud scratching noise every so often - not ideal when you’re looking to get some sleep before an early drive. Floors weren’t clean, and the damp in the bathroom wall isn’t pleasant.

What a pleasant surprise to find such a nice B&B when I really didn't expect to find such a nice place for the money spent. I was literally just looking for a place to overnight after a long drive and hit the road first thing in the morning. I got a lot more than expected. The rooms were very comfortable, set up well for you to have everything you need. from the entrance of the room to the bathroom everything was very neat and everything in it's place. it was clear a lot of thought went into setting up the room. The parking was ample and secure. the site facilities were also plentiful. I could spend a weekend or small holiday break there with my partner. unfortunately it is not an area I normally visit. I recommend Die Herehuis Guesthouse to anyone looking to be comfortable after a long trip or even just for a break from the norm.

For the price paid and based on the reviews I expected much better. We were greeted by a pile of cigarette stompies on the grass outside the door. Dinner was overpriced for very average fare. Dining area unpleasantly hot. Rooms are tiny and dark with just a couple of battery lights during load shedding. Be aware that no electricity also equals no water here, so your family of five can all share the one 500ml water bottle in the fridge. No generator even though supposed to be a a four star establishment. When we left very early in the morning due to not being able to sleep from heat and thirst we couldn't even shower first or open the gate. I found this place overall very disappointing and would not return.

The service was excellent and the rooms were very tidy. We had a delicious 3 course meal during our stay and couldn’t stop talking about their delicious desert. Also felt very safe which is always important for us.

From start to finish, Nicolette went above and beyond to make our stay absolutely exceptional! Stunning and spacious rooms with all amenities, beautiful gardens, gorgeous house. Dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. Overall the best Guesthouse and dining in Beaufort West. Thanks for making us, our dear friends and our fur children feel totally at home.

Several containers on the basin in the bathroom, but most of them are empty. There was no soap to wash hands. The temperature of the water in the shower cannot be controlled. It changes automatically from scalding hot to ice cold. Places to hang towels were insufficient.The tv has one channel only. I liked the fruit and yoghurt at breakfast, but my omlette was dry, drenched in pepper and the cheese was mot even melted. The tea afterwards was excellent.

The service was far less than expected for an establishment with 4 star rating. The electricity went of at 1.30am and the emergency number was switched off. When reattempting the call at 6am, the call went through and it took management more than 15 minutes to respond. No apology was offered when this was brought to their attention, just excuses asto the reasons.

Had an OK stay. Just loadshedding when we arrived and again when we left. Freezing cold but we survived. Bed was not too comfortable. Nice breakfast.

Great overnight accommodation. Clean, neat rooms with everything you need, AC included. Friendly staff. Will definitely recommend.

One of the best guesthouses we ever stayed at. Personal service by the owners, pet friendly and your doggies also get a karoo tjoppie for dinner. I cannot express in words the quality of the food served and rooms of highest standard and the personal touch in this old and new charm combined. A must visit on your bucket list! The room (number 11) was very comfortable and cozy and clean and has a massive patio area right by the pool, making a pleasure to sit outside and enjoy the peace. Staying a couple of nights would have been a pleasure.

Great place and price was great! Very quite with swimming pool as well. Great braai area. Very clean and rooms got small fridge, kettle and microwave. You can also get cooked food from the guest house.
